    H8r Disks

Hi mate, I've not got any discs but I've just had a look on www.thingiverse.com and they have the files on there to 3D print them if you know anybody with a printer? I do have a printer but don't really have the time to do it or the pistol to make sure they work correctly.
  2. Had a decent day out at Killzone Airsoft. A short 10 minute drive from my house which is always welcome! Ran my MTW as a DMR instead of "AEG" was sending 0.36's a really nice distance. I was player marshal to help the owners out who are good mates of mine. A good group of players turned up and some decent games played. Still very much finding their feet with what game modes work on the site Got some lovely MK23 kills, probably more with my pistol today than DMR. Borrowed a range finder and Joe (one of the owners) kindly let me take pot shots at him with my sniper at 85m. Unfortunately the wind was pretty strong but im fairly confident on a calmer day I've have domed him at 80m 😂 Towards the end of the day there was only 5 of us left so did a couple of free for all style games, probably should have just gone home though as Im now on my first night shift and im incredibly tired.
  3. AAP isn't a bad pistol like has already been said but it will shit itself. Some seem to do it quicker than others. Mine being the first gen died quite quickly! A few mates have WE glocks and haven't had any issues. The cheaper MK23's tend to have issues, even with upgrades as the QC isn't great. A standard TM MK23 or any stock TM pistol is a good choice. I haven't heard or seen great things from anything that's Raven or Vorsk. But others may be able to tell you different. I pick a pistol by its looks. They'll just cool to hold and use, often find myself in the garage fiddling with my pistols for no reason at all 😂
  4. If there were more than one ghillie on a banded team (and they all have then on their arms) then the complaint just becomes "one of the ghillies with a band on his arm" so you still have to tell them all off anyway. I've never moved my band from my arm to my leg. Like I've already started, I always ask if I can but If I can't then it's not a problem and it stays put. Has anyone actually come across this ornis it just youtuber troll speculation? And with regards to that Mustang video, im fairly certain that video was filmed at Phoenix. I've played there quite a few times and im 99% certain from memory that they won't let you wear a band / tape on your legs. Could be getting mixed up with somewhere else though. Last time I played there I may have accidentally not seen Mustangs hand in the air when he was walking back to the safe zone,😊. I couldn't see much of him from the cover I was using and gave him a few rounds before seeing his hand 😂
  5. The last bit reminds me of a time me and another ghillie sniper were going for a stroll on an attempted flank, the chap tripped over a branch and hit the deck! I started shouting for him and pretended I didn't know where he was, then when he stood up I was like "ah there you are". He didn't speak to me again 😂 The issue is that you see me wearing a band on my leg (or often a band on each leg) as hiding it and I don't. I'll still carry on doing it (IF THE SITE ALLOWS) and you'll still have an issue with it and that's fine. Probably just best to agree to disagree.
  6. There's a slight difference in the user though isn't there. Im sure anyone could blend in / hide in a bush or dense foliage without the band giving them away, but generally that's not what I do. As I wear a ghillie most of the time when I play outdoors I often sit Infront of the base of a tree or at the edge some natural cover rather than fully submerge myself in something. This means I can get a better view of the playing field and not get my sniper or suit caught up in the inevitable bramble bush I end up gravitating towards. There, you've drawn me back in and away from my pimple popping videos, now leave me be and carry on with posting negative comments on Kicking Mustang videos! 😂
  7. It would appear no matter what I say or how I say it, you'll always class it as hiding my band. So I'll just give up wasting my valuable procrastination time on this thread and revert back to watching pimple popping videos on Instagram! All the best x
  8. But then what about the ghillie on the unbanded team? Is he all of a sudden not cheating because he's not wearing an "illgally" placed arm band anywhere on his body? How would we not know he's not hiding one on his ankle? Full auto him and then when he says he's on unbanded then just blame him for wearing a ghillie in the first place?
  9. I never said that was my aim, merely pointed out how some of the replies to this thread had suggested that was their use. Im Fully aware they are to denote which team you are on. The reason most ghillies wear them on their legs is because after all the time, effort and money spent on making a nice working ghillie suit, adding a bright coloured band sort of ruins it and makes you stand out, when the whole point is trying to blend in and hide. For me, that's why I wear one on my leg (site permitting), so my ghillie actually does the job I want it to Ill always ask if I can wear them on my leg, if im not allowed then that's fine. I never said I'd ever remove them from my arm and put them elsewhere when no body is looking. All the best xx
  10. Ah right, fair enough They'll definitely be a lot harder to see when travelling over sniper distances. Best of luck with your search!
  11. Why do they have to be dark in colour?
  12. It's the same argument you could have with the ghillie suit in general. It's not as if it's something that only im allowed to wear. I've never seen any none ghillie wear it on their leg and I wonder if the site owners would have any issue with that? But as a counter question, what about some of the sites that operate bands Vs none bands? Is one team cheating? And also, (sorry for the incoherent format of this reply, just woken up after a night shift), what's the purpose of the band? To denote who's team your on or to make you stand out? Because as some of the replies to this topic would suggest, they're sole purpose is to make you stand out should you be trying to be sneaky and hide from the enemy team.
  13. I wear mine round my leg when i'm wearing my ghillie, if the site allows it. As others have mentioned, I run the risk of getting shot by friendlies but that happens some of the time anyway, regardless of where I put my arm band or what in wearing. I've learnt no matter what you do, people will always moan. Wear a ghillie, someone will have an issue, use HPA, someone will have an issue, wear a ghillie and use HPA, then you better look out for pitchforks 😂😂
  14. I've got a short Golden Eagle gas shotty and a cyma spring shotty with a stock. Both fun to use, just find the cyma slightly too big for some of the right CQB sites I play at!
  15. Awesome stuff, don't think I've seen you since "the incident" last time we went to Hell's!!
  16. Well after my knocker lock died last year and losing the replacement somewhere in the house, I've found another one on firesupport and installed it last week. So glad I didn't sell this AAP-SMG, as it does put a smile on my face!! Might use it for a few games as an aggressive sniper sidearm at my mates new site, Killzone airsoft on September 4th! @Steveocee Had to tag you in this so you can tell Joe and Gary I'm advertising for them 🤣
  17. Might be worth just dropping them a message to double check? It looks as though the tracer is secured with 3 or 4 grub screws for most of the adapters, so if your dimensions matched something they already do, you might get away with it! Expected delivery date, 13th of June, so very excited!!!
  18. Messaged PCU this morning and hopefully it should be shipped this week!!
  19. Ah that's good to hear! Can't wait to get my hands on it. Obviously many cardboard boxes will be shot at down the garden in the name of science or something!
  20. Well I finally crumbled last week and ordered the PCU tracer. Hopefully it turns up in time for The Department on July 2nd!
  21. Well I shall take that as a firm no then. Had an email from Acetech today saying their M870 tracer will be out around July 17th, don't quite know if I want to wait that long though!
  22. I need glowing green balls to come out of my shotgun but it doesn't look like acetech's shotgun tracer is coming out anytime soon. PCU have just dropped a new aluminium version which looks rather nice. Looks a lot better than the printed versions they do! Has anyone got one? A few of the speed softer types in the state's seem to use them. Just wondered if anyone had any first hand experience with the product or indeed the company? Umbrella Armoury EU stock the new aluminium one and Outdoor & Tactical have a few of the printed versions. Tah x
  23. Have a gander at that mate! Plenty of owners on here, myself included!
