If you think you're the victim, getting in digs back is only escalating it and continuing to do so isn't helping. Should've just ignored it in the first place if it's such an issue. He wasn't exactly aggressive in the first place

They actually weigh very little (or you don't really feel it anyway), the bar clamping it to the top of the receiver is where most of the weight is, so isn't that noticeable- the handguard area isn't very noticable due to that. If that was the only thing putting you off, I wouldn't worry about it

I'm not sure that's an airsoft spec rail, from the description it seems it's a for a real rifle (which seems slightly worrying at the price I must say).

I didn't like mine ergonomically, sounds like it was a good job I sold it after just a few mags went through it I know the current owner has had to replace the handguard with the plastic one as the screw holding it on stripped too

Was the m14's turn to get some love today, stripped down to components, thoroughly cleaned and promptly dropped top down on the lawn 🙄 Gave it a fresh coat of paint too as it was looking pretty naff

I probably wouldn't bother with Nimh batteries in anything these days, a 7.4 lipo will be fine in pretty much whatever- do the deans switch too as Duff said, only takes a couple of mins or so

To be fair it does come with the fore-end/heatshield so it not exactly the same thing. That's worth £50 alone so it's probably about right price wise

Got some PTS epm mags this morning for my recoil so took the time for another photo Still needs a rear buis and a few other bits- notably a different stock (probably a CTR) but it's getting there

It attaches to the left hand side of the rifle so the rail will be just above the dust cover, it doesn't really sit so high
