  1. Yeah within a month there will be the first aftermarket bits out, with more following pretty quickly judging by the rest of their stuff. The only system that comes close to having as many aftermarket bits as tm rifles is the WA gbbr system.
  2. I dont think making a DMR from a TM recoil will be too hard, I know the eagle 6 guys have done a few without issues- The 417 will have to have a new style gearbox (though every different new TM recoil has had differences in some ways anyway so wouldn't be a surprise) to get the grip angle right. I actually hope that they use a normal style buffer tube for it- yes it's not accurate to the real thing but it would allow people to swap for different stocks for their preferences etc. I think the shotgun is hideous, really ugly but equally a lot of people like it so fair enough. The M4 is very likely to be on my buy list, I was holding out for LM4 stuff to be available over here but with the GHK and TM on the way I'm gonna hang on a bit to see how they are, not really wanting a WE. Not fussed by the AEPs, waste of money imo but nice for those who do like them I guess...
  3. Any G&G then will do the job, check lwa, they have pretty much the full range.
  4. You'll have to get something plastic then, I'm afraid. There's nothing full metal with rails that I can think of for less that £250.
  5. These are decent http://airsoftzone.co.uk/m4a1-4-position-colt-metal-body-aeg-gnp?filter_name=G&P%20m4a1
  6. So long as it's a top tech G&G it will be metal. As said get a G&G or G&P, my choice would be the latter but either will do.
  7. TM are doing a recoil 417. My pants are gonna need changing

the picture of the 417 on the poster is actually a real 417, they're so early in the development that they haven't even got a display prototype yet. The HK45 had a display prototype more than a year ago and it's only just appeared. I expect we'll be waiting a long time for a release date.

I'm more than happy to wait till the end of time for the 417, the only guns i'd want more are an m14 or g3 so yeah, the waiting is always tedious but I'm sure it'll be more than worth it. I Finally had a go on a recoil 416 a couple of weeks ago and was hugely surprised at how much more solid it felt than my socom- and the socom is far from bad. Something to look forward to for sure.

I'm interested to see the pricing on the gbbr, the cerakoting is a massive plus for m...

me but will likely push the price up a fair bit I imagine.

All in all though, it was a nice surprise to find when I woke up this morning

  8. Don't blame you, I own one and hate the look too
  9. This made me laugh much more than it should have http://www.365.co.za/images/images_offonf1/BernieSays.jpg

  10. Generally it's 370 max, most limit to 350 though.
  11. If you're getting a two tone gun go for a g36 or m4, the parts are easily changeable/coverable and they don't look too bad. Two-tone scars however look awful.
  12. I'd genuinely rather that cartoon sniper rifle wasn't made
  13. Could you not put weave them through some molle loops, like some people do with glow sticks?
  14. I mean in general, for G&G they aren't bad (average prices, same as land warrior, some are £1 cheaper, some are £1 more etc) but as a rule of thumb, they charge highly, not wolf armouries bad but still up there.
  15. You should always expect to upgrade a gun if you want a sniper rifle or dmr, stock guns don't cut it. Swap out the hop rubber and barrel, they're weaker points in g&ps. The rubber isn't so bad but takes a very long time to wear in compared to most.
  16. Overpriced but a safe place to buy from
  17. Just pick stuff up, i spend/waste a lot of time on the internet and have a large number of forums and news sites, both airsoft and real steel I check a few times a day and doing that for a few years makes bits rub off on you- just read through forums every couple of days and you'll pick up a fair bit, arnies and ukaz tend to have the best knowledge base of the UK forums. Zeroin you can look at but is filled with more idiots than sensible contributers.
  18. Waste of money in my opinion, they are trounced by any decent GBB pistol.
  19. https://www.facebook.com/groups/115852231864720/ If it works, try the video on the page, my local's new helicopter drone thing
  20. I think bunker 51 is run by wolf armouries- if so that would explain the prices lol
  21. Most sites charge £25, add 10 for rental, 10 for more ammo that's £45. Then there's pyro or the odd optional bit of kit, drink chocolate bar etc on top of tha so often ends up near £40-50
  22. A lot of the people in the US are morons But seriously I dunno, prommy and pdi are generally regarded as best over here and do the job. A tm recoil shooting at 290 has as much range as any other gun, usually more. A tm will take an m100 easily, eagle make them especially for the recoils
  23. I always use knee pads, yes you don't need them but you don't need mag pouches, pockets would do the job. It's nice to have the comfort of them.
  24. Yeah all recoil rifles are the right materials in the right places.
  25. I'd go for a tm recoil if you can stretch a little if not G&P all the way.
