People that bring them, no I don't like it. My local has 3-4 shields around the site that are usable and with the correct rules in use aren't bad. We have a no shooting from behind it rule, you have to expose yourself fully to shoot if using a riot shield to save from arguments etc, theyre also quite heavy and unwieldy so has disadvantages too.

These are the kind of little things that can put people off sites, I don't use a camera or anything but the principle of not allowing it kinda annoys me. It's a bit like fire-supports sites not allowing gbbs other than pistols, it doesn't affect me as I don't use one regularly at the moment but it would stop me going there anyway as it's ridiculous.

Perhaps out up a picture of you holding it, then we can suggest ways if changing your stance/how you hold it etc to make it more comfy for you. I've always find the m4 just right- it's the usual hight for sights etc so not had issues.

Kiwi is right about the Ra-tech bolts, right pieces of sh*t they are. As Tariq says, buy stock definitely, WE's quality control isn't very good so it may last ages, it may last a couple thousand rounds, then upgrade. For the trigger set, go for CWI over ra-tech or just replace with standard WE parts and hope you get a good one. No need to upgrade the bolt though, keep the stock one- not bad and lighter than upgrade ones.

Should take ptw size springs and ptw mags. No need to buy a whole cylinder just swap the spring from inside them. Expect to have to change the vast majority of it to proper systema parts.

You could probably get quite close. TM recoil g36c, WE IDZ stock and rail, m4 magwell adatper and then try to source a full length rail- shouldn't be too hard apart from the rail.

I think it's due to Californian laws or something, rifles aren't allowed pistol grips, only those built into the stock or something along those lines.

Shame about the red receiver in the last one, AR-15 wooden furniture always looks good on my opinion, the rest can fuck right off though lol.

Pretty much any g&g will be a good choice out of the box, they tend not to need anything doing to them to be worth using.

Your gun can't take upgrades,double eagle guns don't use standard mech boxes or parts I'm afraid.

I don't think it'll be anything to worry about. When companies like WE's can take steel bolts then I doubt something from TM will struggle too much, even their aluminium ones are known to have a number of issues. TM are one of, if not the best when it comes to reliability and unlike many airsoft companies, they tend not to sell stuff that will break easily, their stuff tends to be made so that it's not taken apart often or so that the user doesn't have to constantly replace parts so long as it's used as intended.

Yeah within a month there will be the first aftermarket bits out, with more following pretty quickly judging by the rest of their stuff. The only system that comes close to having as many aftermarket bits as tm rifles is the WA gbbr system.

I dont think making a DMR from a TM recoil will be too hard, I know the eagle 6 guys have done a few without issues- The 417 will have to have a new style gearbox (though every different new TM recoil has had differences in some ways anyway so wouldn't be a surprise) to get the grip angle right. I actually hope that they use a normal style buffer tube for it- yes it's not accurate to the real thing but it would allow people to swap for different stocks for their preferences etc. I think the shotgun is hideous, really ugly but equally a lot of people like it so fair enough. The M4 is very likely to be on my buy list, I was holding out for LM4 stuff to be available over here but with the GHK and TM on the way I'm gonna hang on a bit to see how they are, not really wanting a WE. Not fussed by the AEPs, waste of money imo but nice for those who do like them I guess...
