  1. His head of design has a great job. "Put a Gate Titan in that VFC M4" "Put a Maple Leaf Autobot in that KJW Hi-Capa" "Make the MK23 carbine kit out of metal" "Put our logo on that CYMA Glock AEP" ...and now we have "Err....put an M-Lok section on that P90"
  2. Also £250 seems a bit dear...
  3. I haven't settled on a particular weight. I could hop 0.4's without issue but as you say, there doesn't seem much point at the ranges I'll use this. There are 0.3's in that drum because I wanted to use them up. I've found the drum does bump up the FPS, think it's filled with Abbey Predator atm.
  4. FPS aside, I would highly recommend the hop unit. I love that I can have not enough hop, two clicks up too much, one click down perfect.
  5. Just a 150mm maple leaf crazy jet, 50 degree flamingo bucking and the CNC wheel adjustable hop unit.
  6. God I love this thing. 340fps, 25rps and feeds like a dream... VID_20210808_123131.mp4
  7. Actually my main objection is the four questions marks in a row. That right there, tells you everything you need to know about a person.
  8. You're not responsible for the actions of others.
  9. @Rogerborg I tried to be nice and PM them to that effect. This is the response I got:
  10. I need to get a range finder as I've found a clear distance between two objects at my local site, which is the max my EVO will hit (I keep forgetting to try it with the others). When I say max, I mean as you say, a torsoish sized target without "lobbing" the BB.
  11. It's not completely unrealistic for a well-built (not just money poured in to) DMR to be hitting 70 - 80M. There's no exact science to achieving above average range and accuracy, so it would be impossible for us to say for sure.
  12. As above, very little value associated with "3x low cap magazines + 2x 7.4v batteries + 1x full bottle of ASG .25s BBs I think 3300 + Also a gun bag." As such I would rather pay £450 for a new one than £400 for a second-hand one I'd need to collect.
  13. Always read the item description VERY carefully 😉

Haha. I was just reaching for me purse until I read the last line.

      @Shamal - It's OK, I'll look after you.

  14. Would you stop raising irks of mine, makes me want to rant about subjects which have already been discussed to death. "Here's how much I want for my item but I can't be bothered to workout (Google) the Paypal fees or tell you how much I want to post it, because I haven't bothered to think about that either"
  15. You've got a few now, is it the recoil element which attracts you or Marui quality?
  16. Do you also walk around reciting Luke's "Don't Buy a Tokyo Marui Recoil" rant, like it's the opening monologue from Trainspotting?
  17. I've been playing five years and have never even worn out a hop rubber!
  18. Yeah, I did think that there must be at least one more. I genuinely read that as "selling my body"
  19. For me having the option just puts too much pressure on the day. If it doesn't go well I'm like "I spent £600 on this bloody thing!" Saying that, I do kinda miss my TM SCAR L
  20. I've found airsofters fit in to two main categories when it comes to their guns and gear: 1) The "cheap and cheerful" crew - Has a sub £200 primary, likely doesn't have a secondary and if they do it's something like a WE Glock which they've had for a half-a-dozen years. If something breaks they'll tinker and bodge it themselves, meaning they likely get the best GBP to kill ratio. 2) The "my collection" brigade - Takes delivery of a new RIF pretty much every week, uses each in one or two skirmishes at most before selling on. If anything breaks they'll send it off to a tech for "the works" I'm definitely in the latter but want to break the cycle. I was about to order a slide for my TM Hi-Capa Gold Match but then thought back to the other week when I got some great kills with it stock and realised in that moment I was more concerned with it shooting reliably than looking pretty, so why bother... The above seems to have little to do with with actual financial position. I know wealthy people who have basic guns & gear and people who've taken out loans in order to sink £2K into a RIF. I guess the topic of discussion is: While you're actually skirmishing, do you care about how your guns look etc? If not, does that also make you wonder why you've gone for the £1500 NGRS etc?. As an additional discussion, are there any airsoft habits you want to break? I spend hours browsing retail websites and enjoy the buzz of a new arrival but the shine soon wears off, so I've obviously got an issue to address.
  21. I was talking with Luke at Battle Lakes and he had the DSG MP5 he built himself to prove a point. One pull of the trigger to demonstrate the ROF and somebody immediately sprinted around the corner, asking how much to build one for him.
  22. Also seems to be because Luke builds guns for reliability, rather than the 349.9FPS & 60RPS on a hair-trigger that many of the sub-25 year old airsofters are obsessed with.
  23. Even with Facebook groups you get people piping up just to say something, even though they have no-idea what they're talking about. I've literally had people saying "I don't know if this is right or not but this must be the cause of the problem..."
