ive personally used Airsoft Entrepot to import a RIF. they were very helpful and stuck my UKARA on the box when i requested. took under a week to arrive (this was a few  months ago)

DestrO got a reaction from StayOnTarget in Buying from JKArmy?
JKArmy are in Hong Kong not Japan.

They have a pretty good process for buying RIFs into the UK, even a dedicated field to stick your UKARA

they will declare the package's value correctly so you'll most likely have to pay VAT and a handling charge when it gets here

also what do you plan on buying? might be able to help further

I believe a couple airsoft stores in France have them in stock, along with the BCM mags

lmao this is airsoft. you dont need anything, its all superficial

i personally use real steel optics (inc vortex) for the quality, warranty, and value retention

but regardless of anything it's a good optic.

my bad, assumed it was rhetorical.

iirc the UH-1 is superior to older eotechs and on par with the EXPS 3.0. i dont think £800 for the uh-1 is justifiable though

i would suggest getting a KC-02 and upgrading with Rogueworx parts, you'll have a DMR that will easily perform as well as a tuned BASR

100% agree , I’m selling something I post up an amount i’d ‘like’ (obviously with a number I’d be happy to take in my head)and that’s the amount I ask for . I’ve always thought when selling anything I can’t be bothered to F*** about with different prices with or without P&P , fees , etc etc if the buyer can meet me and do a face to face for cash then obviously i’d negotiate a discount on the asking price , and as basically EVERYONE uses paypal with buyer protection as standard sticking the fees on as an ‘extra’ is quite frankly a puerile thing to do and just a dick move , simple as that really .

Well, costed in.  And it is something that I'll always choose to pay for as buyer, because it does give me protection, versus F&F or a bank transfer with no comeback.

This is unlike postage, which is the seller's concern, not mine.

I'm absolutely fine with sellers doing the calculation of: money they want in their pocket + postage fees for their chosen method of sending + PayPal G&S fees.

Just do it up front and list that as your asking price. Don't get an offer then start considering postage costs, or sucking your teeth and saying "Ooh, you want to use PayPal, and you don't want to just give me the money without any chance of getting it back?  Wow, such unusual, very unexpect, I'll need to work out the fees for that."

That's me, anyway.  It may be the case that most buyers are happy paying F&F / bank transfer.  I'd be fascinated to know, ideally from a prolific seller who doesn't have a clown in this fight.

They may have been mouthing things that they didn't type though.  Personally, I try not to piss off sellers, since I'm essentially relying on your goodwill to post the thing off at all.

I am genuinely curious as to why you don't list the PayPal G&S price, since in most cases you're then going to ask for that anyway, right?

Is it because you reckon you get more interest by listing at £30 rather than £31.20?  But how does that gel with flexing about having more buyers lined up than you can cope with?

Wouldn't it be better to put off filthy poors who are going to baulk at the real price, and not waste your valuable time in dealing with their grunting and grumbling? 🤔

Seems to be a lot of misconception in here that the buyer pays the fees for the protection of G&S, which is not what the fee is for. It’s just a transaction fee that should be absorbed by the seller

imo charging the buyer fees is a dick move in any circumstance. I’m happy to cover postage, but don’t act like bloody Ticketmaster

It's lazy and irksome when sellers spring PayPal fees on you, although hardly uncommon.  It's also against PayPal's T&Cs for business sellers, which it rather seems that he might be.

And I agree with asking for an invoice.  It doesn't seem like this chap is dodgy, but then the best scammers never seem that way.

Personally I'd like it if AFUK required sellers to list an all inclusive price including postage and PayPal fees, given that's how the majority of transactions are going to happen.  And it wouldn't be rocket surgery to provide a fees calculator, at 2.9% + 30p for Sterling-to-Sterling.

Disappointingly small spat though, I don't see anyone being offered out behind the circus tent.
