Diemaco got a reaction from Gryph in Plate carrier recommendations
I agree with everyone recommending Warrior. I use a DCS and it's been great. Comfortable and hard wearing.
Whatever you choose, make sure and put some plates in it. They sit much better with plates in.

A few things turned up from Evike Europe today and now I feel like a very special little snowflake (because who runs an m40a3 these days, let alone a gas one). I've wanted an airsoft m40a3 or m40a5 for over a decade and I'm glad I finally got one that is good! Most of the m40s around aren't to my liking (none of them are properly VSR compatible), but this one... I love the KJW/Tanaka m700 platform, and it's just that with a fancy m40a3/5 stock and shorter outer barrel. All that's left for this build is a nice Vortex scope and it'll be completely done!
Also will test out this adjustable bolt over the weekend. I think it will still require the gas routers to do most of the heavy lifting, but the screw in the bolt itself looks like it could be useful for fine tuning when I need to drop or gain like 0.1J or so a bit more consistently than adjusting the hammer spring tension.
Now I just need to get a few parts to finish the other m700...

All good ideas there. The impitus is trying to keep the kids entertained in an unfamiliar area... So "regular one offs" if that makes sense.
However, seeing as the two boys have their own pews now, airsoft is a pretty good dya out by my book. However, I've just remembered that we have Chicksands Bike park just round the corner, and my mate Bubee (yes that's his real name) runs the little Thai food stand there. Man his chicken satay skewers are awesome. Make sure you pay though. He has a rather excessive knife collection in the tailor. 😱
Yeah, I have a small squadron of DJI drones ranging from a Mavix Air up to an Inspire 1 (up for sale with a tonne of extras if anyone is interested). There are a lot of small air fields round here and an army base, so a lot of airspace is restricted..... Oh an Luton Airport 😂
My lad is in the Army cadets. But my reason for the thread is to help a mate who's living I my spare room for a spell, entertain his teens on the occasional weekends they are staying at my place as well.
I wish I let him join the Cadets a lot sooner though. It certainly helped bring him out of his shell. He met Princess Margaret last weekend. Had quite an involved chat with her apparently.

I don't know how old they are, but what about the Army (or Air/Sea) Cadets?

Oooh that Bisley is gorgeous
Since we're on the subject of revolvers...
Here's a King Arms SAA (one of the few gas revolvers I've seen. But only shoots about 240fps)
All metal shells. BB goes at the top so can actually be loaded without taking out the rounds.
Thanks to GazzaElite for this one 😉

excellent , how is the magazine insertion on yours ? Heard reports of incredibly tight fit , to the point you feel like it might break
A little tinkering with an RMR plate on this little beauty

A couple of Tanakas that have been engraved by some Japanese guy who normally does swords.

I love it when I see airsoft guns or air guns in movies.
In one of the promo pictures for the movie Nobody the guy literally has a Hicap in his rifle 😆

Diemaco got a reaction from Nick G in M4/C8 wanted
As already mentioned get your UKARA sorted first. No point paying extra to buy something two toned then repainting it a few months later.
If you're after a C8, I saw that Dave's Custom Airsoft are doing a new L119A2-a-like AEG (Rossi Neptune SAS, I think it was called). No idea how good it is, but it looks alright.

Pistol belt set up, just the bits I need for CQB or in support of the M4 / SADF M83.
Shout out to the KydexCustoms adapter to fit the holster to the mid ride plate and Tactical-kit for the extra pistol Kywi (and free stickers I forgot to add to the cart!)
USP in Amomax holster, KydexCustoms BFG holder, LBX med pouch, DirectAction dump pouch with double pistol Kywi in it, extra Kywi infront.
