Honestly as a grown adult who has a mortgage and has seen that payment go from "tm recoil" to "GBLS DAS416" a month courtesy of Truss (elected by the Tory membership) whilst seeing a 14 year slump in my actual take home pay honestly, I love airsoft, but the less the current tory party (who by the way have a very nasty tendency of knee jerk bans and sneaking stuff into legality through "questionable" means) have to do with running the country the happier I am.

So 2 more additions to the British collection.

Peter207 sorry buddy I don't Airsoft anymore haven't a long time, sold you a rif and forgot all about it, had no idea there was any issues until I logged on here this morning after getting a message elsewhere and saw your messages, I'm sorry the rid didn't get to you buddy, it been so long I will have binned any receipts but I'm happy to refund you no issues at all.
I did ask you to contact me by phone but you didn't want to give me your number it would have been much easier if you had for contact, infact I gave you my direct phone number? Why didn't you simply call me?.. seems there was a much simpler and easier way to deal with this than this post. Next time pick up the phone.

If you do buy a GBBR, get a Calico, CZ Scorpion, L85A2 or a G3 etc coz I don't have one of these yet.

This was my Devgru SD6, granted it has a different front end and stock to yours but you can still paint it the same 
 
I used an old orange bag, played it over the gun and blasted it with short hits of brown to get the pattern 

People keep saying that, but what exactly is a massive innovation that another company has made? Everything is still fundamentally based on TM designs. I notice no one has cloned a Recoil other than the AA12.

As a father to a teenager I second that - the boy and I have our own distinct loadouts.  Looking forward to him coming home in June so I can shoot the crap out of him again:
 

 
We have (I like to think) a pretty solid relationship as a result of spending Airsoft days together.  I certainly know him better than he thinks I do.
 
The boy also has some school friends who's mum was into Airsoft - her and her partner's loadout's were pretty awesome.  We had some fun gameday's as a group.
 
However, your dad may have genuine reasons for being apprehensive - I was at first TBH.  It's not just the financial cost of owning a gun.  My brother and his missus are completely against guns of any kind for example so my nephew would have had no chance if he wanted Airsoft as a hobby.  It's part of what sucks to be a kid.  You have to respect the boundaries your parents put in place.
