  1. That's exactly right, they had a few promising updates from DCA. That a batch would be due in Summer or that they were expecting a prototype soon. Seems to have gone fairly quiet. The externals would be the major selling point. Rather annoyingly in their MK48 series, their gearbox has differences to a standard 249 box. There's a decent thread on Arnies airsoft about it in the review section. As regards LMGs, some sites have ammo limitations in milsims, which benefit the wielder. Good for morale on the team and a bit of variety. Still think it's not the best LMG (Again that battery arrangement is head scratching), at least something different. If it leads to some players choosing it over a drum mag equipped PCC, it's a good thing. Will be interested to see what direction their AK goes in the new year.
  2. That's a very fair point. As you point out probably all the shortcomings of the MP7, no desire to branch out. An UZI pistol from NE would sell.
  3. Still amazed that with the improvements in batteries and gearboxes that we don't have a newer full size UZI AEG. Good on NE all the same, nice to series develop.
  4. That was my exact though too, on watching one of the video reviews. Not great amount of space. Faffing around with Allen screws. As regards a M240, Lambda defense were supposed to be bringing one out but it seems to have gone quiet on that front.
  5. Will be interested to see how you find these compared to the Maple leaf offerings.
  6. Red sea trading have a very funky looking Scar. Thought it was some Sig MCX variant at first glance.
  7. AN94 would be an interesting choice. Know that it never saw all that much use. Still if you look at what guns do you wish they made threads, it always makes an appearance. Various mosfets/ETUs would make the two shot mechanism somewhat doable. DP28 would be a welcome addition. Ideal for a range of loadouts or a generic opfor. Makes a change from the PKM/RPK without the eye-watering price-tag/technical concerns of the RPD. Will be fascinating to see what kind of feeding mechanism they go for if it does make it into production.
  8. Noticed the same unfortunately. King Arms didn't even seem to have a FAL/L1A1 on their stand this year. Think the re-release is not happening.
  9. That Groza makes various mid 20th century designs seem positively ergonomic in comparison.
  10. That might have added a bit of variety. Pity. It's astounding the level of saturation.
  11. It's almost impressive, their consistency. Want a Hi-Power or a P320? You lot are getting a new Hi-cappa variant.
  12. Will be interesting to see if they make a more vanilla P320. Also to see the feedback on how these perform. Particularly if there is truth to those rumours of angry letters making TM cancel their P320 offering.
  13. Imagine you might see a few more FJ loadouts, if the FG42 is anyway decent. The SKS is very much welcome. Will be great for a whole range of Cold War kits, in addition to more generic Opfor kits. Will be interesting to see how they work out a gearbox solution (V7?). SVT40 is certainly left of field choice. Can't be all positivity, so I predict at least two of these will come to market before King Arms re-release of the FN FAL.
  14. Certainly something different. Had completely forgotten about the MOA exhibition this year.
  15. We have to settle for a different coloured Hicapa variant again. The Canadians are dumping their old Hi-Power inventory on the Ukrainians. Some current events following Japanese executive might be inspired. As to the auto loader will be curious to see how this performs. Think the Laylax one underperformed.
  16. The omnipresent easy or simple fix. Don't walk, run away.
  17. Imagine it will be quite the decent performer. Good on them for keeping the line going. Pity there isn't an airsoft X95 except for the LPEG.
  18. Rebranded JG aeg so? Thought perhaps given one of his G36 models has one, it might be M16 magazine compatible. Not to be alas.
  19. A bit of diversity is good. Will it have a stanag magwell?
  20. Have you tried a different type of BBs? Certain brands don't go well with certain hop up configurations. Additionally have you tried a different type of magazine? It can be quite frustrating messing around with your aeg, if the problem area is your mags or ammunition.
  21. Ordered a set of flip up sights. Arrived after a few weeks, was cautious after reading various reviews online. Would probably only use it for smaller value orders or if (for example with the sights) couldn't find it anywhere else.
  22. Definitely is more offerings on the market. See that Specna Arms and King Arms have some for sale. As regards the physical sizing they can be a pain at times. Couldn't manage to get one to fit in a G36 motor cage before.
  23. As regards the holster, some of the Commonwealth gear could be a decent sub such as a Canadian or Australian ones. Alternatively if you are patient sometimes the 58 pattern holster can show up listed on the bay as canvas holster or old army holster rather than 58 pattern.
  24. Just a quick question or two. Would you be okay doing your own tech works and are you already happy with the performance? Also which type of M4? If so would probably look at the calibre of lipo you are using and then see about a mosfet. Those would be two areas to explore to deal with semi lock-up. If your already using a decent spec lipo, then something like a Gate Titan NGRS model would probably help. If you do choose to go for one, make sure you get the correctly wired model. E.g. Rear wired for the Sopmod, Front wired for Socom.
  25. Depends on the gun. Something like a basic LCT AK would take it out. The Tavor when I had it, I tended to leave it in while I did so. The latter took a near total disassembly to get at the inner barrel. In contrast the G&G FN2000 was an absolute pleasure to get at those components. So If I had say three aegs. Would take out the barrel and unit for two of them to clean.
