  1. It's an obvious step. They have the experience with Gas replica from their pistol series, together with past production of the Vector Aegs. Part of me is disappointed they didn't start cranking out FN replicas, after their P90. A Krytac FN FAL or Five-Seven would have been a nice development.
  2. The Kydex holsters are very nice. Just to give an alternative source, Kydex customs are also a good choice. You will need to budget for a mount. https://www.kydexcustomsuk.com/collections/pro-series-holsters/products/pro-series-aap-01-holster
  3. Is the screw on the selector tightened sufficiently? Here's a link to various causes of selector problems https://tacticalparts.com/blog/diagnosing-version-3-selector-switc/
  4. G&G made a variant with a side scope mount. The build quality is probably quite dated for the cost. This model: https://www.guay2.com/en/product/detail-233
  5. That lambda defence sure is something.
  6. That person would have woken up at least once with a horse's head in the bed. Alternatively they would have moved onto an industry with more exacting and honest standards, something like homeopathy.
  7. As per the DCA facebook page, barrel production is underway. Would certainly go for an aluminium one myself, as the guts of ten kilos would be enough to lug around.
  8. The M9a1/M9 are lovely performing pistols. It is a pity TM haven't come out with a ready threaded variant similar to their HK 45 tactical. In fact an updated Tactical master with a threaded barrel would be swell.
  9. Here's hoping they ship in October. Would be nice to get some feedback on their offering.
  10. Even if they were Aegs, it would be a nice development. Would fill the hole of various Cold War Armalites that was left by G&P's departure.
  11. Wish they would release an updated tactical master. Even with a front rail. Considering they have the M9, Samurai edge and a M9A1, with their newer GBB pistol system.
  12. You're welcome. An extra option at the lower end of your length specifications but available in the UK. PDI 6.05 at 650mm length. https://www.outdoorandtactical.co.uk/product/pdi-aeg-650mm-6-05mm-tight-bore-inner-barrel-stainless
  13. Mandatory not another M4 post. That out of the way, always nice to have more options in the mws line.
  14. Xfire will do you one in 6.05 at 690mm length. Alternatively EDGI could make you one a custom length. https://e.x-fire.org/?product=6-05-inner-barrelaeg They also do them in 6.08. https://e.x-fire.org/?product=6-08-inner-barrelaeg If you're willling to cough up major cash and wait for 4-6 weeks, another option. https://ebog-designs.co.uk/products/edgi-custom-works-srs-inner-barrel-builder-1?variant=42038057402421
  15. Was considering ordering a VFC aeg. Violently spilled a cup of coffee on my laptop. Took it as a sign not to proceed.

  16. If you have it still disassembled, would do a thorough inspection for remnants of the piston. Bits of chewed up piston can make their way into the teeth of gears and various parts of the gearbox.
  17. From their Facebook page, imagine we will see better pre-production photos as time goes on.
  18. Have you tried a different battery? In case it's the battery that is dead.
  19. That makes sense, degree of standardisation. For all their faults, it's a company willing to make some unicorn replicas.
  20. That's an interesting set up. Reminds me of Ares with their tavor line. Can make upgrading or switching a bit more tricky. All the same might make a nice base for a DMR build.

    Ak 74

Would probably start with an E&L AK. With LCT as a close second. Cyma would the cheap and cheerful option. Which particular variant of AK74 were you interested in? Scratch that, wrong info. Probably a GHK for a Gas AK.
  22. From what I remember there were several different cuts of window in PDI barrels. Was one of the reason why they were a bit of a nightmare to R-Hop, together with the angles of certain cuts.
  23. From looking at their website, seems to be a mix of aluminum and steel construction. Then they varying barrel choices. Part of the appeal is the M249 gearbox. Also the option of a L7A2 or M240L.
  24. For the sake of a tenner, would certainly go with the warhead. As the above poster referenced, you should get a snappier semi response. Also the efficiency should be higher, so get more shots out of the same battery. Which if you are using certain AK stick lipo batteries can be a plus. The ASG motors can also be a bit bulky. Have had fitment issues in the past with certain motor cages. Although it was only one or two brands. It can also cause difficulty with some pistol grips. No fun to have to remove the stickers off the motor and sand a pistol grip to fit. The motor tabs from what I gather have been improved on later batches. They also seem to have reverted to a more traditional set up than the wires based system. The later while handy for certain set-ups was an absolute nuisance for others e.g. MP5 style grip. Just take it slow during the install and be careful with wire placement (To echo Hamster).
  25. Not had a specific problem with that website. More generic advice would be to try a different web browser or clearing your cookies/cache on your current browser.
