Would strongly recommend the TM m4 style speedloader. The smaller pistol style would seem relatively forgiving, had the cheaper ones work no problem. No so much with the larger type. Also tragically some of the more eccentric designs have been discontinued. Such as the "eagle" loader, which came complete with veins.

They had some peculiar relationship between Raptor/TWI/lambda defense if I recall correctly. Wouldn't be surprised if they axed the Raptor sub brand. As mentioned above their grach and some offerings left a lot to be desired. Imagine the Western style Aegs might be more lucrative. Snow wolf had a SV98 at one point, might be an avenue worth exploring?

The last time I had to use a stock pot filled with recently boiled water. Took about ten minutes of soaking. Also quite a few goes with a wrench. Whoever put the threadlock on it was very generous. Something like certain M4s are very easy to remove the front end and separate the outer barrel from the rest. Imagine the Scorpion will not be a similar case. Take your time and try not to get frustrated. Easier said than done admittedly. Good luck with it.

Fair point. Will give Ares credit for keeping the L1A1 on the market. Something King Arms could learn from... -
Gotcha, misunderstood. Could try emailing fire support or patrol base to see if they could order something in?

They make some interesting offerings. Have owned a VZ58 and a Tavor of theirs in the past. In fairness to them they have made some improvements in the latter over the years. A separate rotary hop up unit rather than an integrated model and a microswitch based gearbox rather than the rod based system of before. That being said, it can be wonderfully annoying to have installed you various upgrades and have the allen screws heads strip as you put the aeg back together. So wouldn't be in a rush to get another one from the firm. Although they still are cranking out different products from the rest of the market. The RDB and L42 are certainly fresh. Makes a change from the latest PCC or M4/AK with mlok foregrip. -
Fire support should sort you out. https://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/lct-pk15-lck104-front-sight-block--flash-hider

All for something different but that thing is hideous. Think my next aeg might have to be an M4.
-
My hope would be that Bullgear might fill the void with a decent box mag insert. The make fittings for the LCT RPK, RPD and RPK 16 drum mags. They also make an M60 offering. Sadly imagine LCT will likely just recycle their old offerings. It has taken them an eternity to introduce mosfets and quick change gearboxes. So as you correctly point, it will probably be worse performing than a A&K. At about treble the cost. Still the E3 is sweet looking.

VFC AK74-MN GBBR - one to add to next year's Xmas list
DerDer replied to RostokMcSpoons's topic in Latest News
VFC AKs were fairly nice back in the day. Imagine this line should be a success for them. -
Imagine it will be similar to it or the PKP for the final price tag. Here's hoping the box mag is somewhat decent, as it can make or break a support gun's effectiveness.

As regards the sector gear plastic cover, ICS make a version. Difficult to find it stock. So recommend going the hipster route and getting one of Etsy. Something like this: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/868455792/6sa-version-3-gearbox-shell-gear-cover?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=6s+version+3+gearbox+shell+gear+cover&ref=sr_gallery-1-1&edd=1&sts=1&referrer_page_guid=f7a3d0d54be.f4ae73a1e61c1e622b82.00&organic_search_click=1 As regards the button, recommend emailing someone like Fire support or eagle 6. Alternatively the HK sites might have something. Real sword used to make an upgraded steel replacement but are are defunct these days unfortunately.

That makes sense. Seemed vaguely familiar.
-
On the one hand, it's good they are still cranking stuff out. On the other, it's not the most appealing... Like a video game model for a generic scifi to avoid copyright infringement.
-
If B&T replicas were the new hot thing in airsoft, wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. Might get a readily available APC223 or APC308.
-
-
Near eight hundred and fifty euro is a fair chunk of change. Still it's the first GBBR Famas. Also Cybergun needs to get their cut. Nice to see one of the original airsoft offerings available in a more contemporary offering. Northeast between their various SMGs and now this, looking forward to seeing what they come up with in the future.
-
A IWI Arad would also be nice addition to the airsoft world. Filling that not quite a M4 AR void similar to the LR300 or 416.
-
So more fake news? In hindsight, I don't think I have every seen a photo of a Hamas Jihadi with a MP5.

The composition of that meal is strangely unsettling. -
The S&T is a bit plasticky but a nice introduction to the Tavor. The ergonomics are very decent. Also found it very accommodating in terms of mag compatibility i.e. ran stanags/EPMs without any problems. Just be vary of the magazine catch, lost a midcap because of it. Can certainly see why IWI moved to an M4 style magazine release in the X95 Tavor.
-
Very true. A Negev LMG would also be swell.
-
Bit of a silly tit. Still as an aside, a high quality Tavor X95 would be welcome in airsoft.
-
On closer inspection, you are correct. Mixed up the MK43 with an E6. Out of the four models, the E3 is the standout. Would be great to see one on the skirmish field. Imagine Lambda defence is tied up with their new B&T Smgs and GPMG series. Still if the LCT gets a bit of traction, they might end up releasing a conversion kit. If I was coughing up the big bucks, a LCT based model might be preferable to an A&K model. Time will tell.
-
Imagine it will be a similar price to their older line, as you mentioned. Fire support have it listed as £1349. Could see them charging similar again. The Bullgear PKM hop up unit was compatible with some M60 models. So if the hop up unit is dreck, that's another option. The company teased a HK21 in the past but imagine the M60 would be a better seller. Will be disappointed when LCT display a teaser and then bring to market an AEG, faster than King Arms and their FN FAL re-release. Still will give the Taiwanese company credit, a higher quality M60 would be a nice alternative to A&K offerings. Also a M60E3 would be an expensive but more readily available alternative to the Inokatsu of years gone by.
