  1. That's good. As you noted some of the weatherproofing can be a bit worse for wear. You occasionally see listings where the chest rig almost looks black.
  2. The bb count might be the constraining factor. Perhaps a Jefftron leviathan? Used a V3 one successfully in the past.
  3. Have collected a bit of SADF kit in the past, including some 32 and Recce kit. Reckon you could easily get £100 if you wanted a quick sale, considerably north of that if you're patient. Is their any stickiness to the webbing? Some of the more niche South African webbing can suffer from it.
  4. Just to play devil's advocate, keep it. Compensation for emotional distress and time spent checking updates, emails etc.
  5. Was the cylinder the wrong way round?

Wouldn't mind an aeg version, probably would replace everything bar the gearbox shell and selector plate. Could see G&G having a go at one. They have made the FNC in the past. Also the M14 and Type 64, so they have history with 7.61x51 models.
  7. Can see certain lines becoming limited edition in the future.
  8. Good for his profit margins presumably. Krytac are also planning a P90 next month. Would probably go for that one if I was in the hunt for one.

Most recent detail I can remember is Red Wolf having a webchat with one of the members of the company. They were claiming a September or October release. At the moment they seem to be concentrating on their new BCM range.
  10. That faux wood is better than I thought it would be.
  11. Fair point. Classic army SportsLine models were about that. Still remember paying £29 a pop for Galil magazines. Had to import them from Greece. Would have been before the explosion of Cyma kit.
  12. Yeah, quite often seen people prop a rifle against a tree and move in with a pistol for example. As regards thievery, one example comes to mind. A friend was showing off some kit in the boot of his car and another party saw fit to pilfer a midcap. Dropped it into his dump pouch and sauntered off. Said friend went to have have a word with the lads running the site. The guy with the nimble fingers left the site early at lunch. Peculiar thing over a MAG AK midcap.
  13. That's very annoying to happen. Had one of mine go recently, the saving grace was that it was just a basic model. Picked up a Perun Hybrid V3 to give it a go in the future.
  14. Great stuff. Glad they are still expanding their shotgun line.
  15. My thoughts exactly. They have been teasing their AKM GBBR for a long time. A NGRS MP5 line has a lot of possible models.
  16. Never thought to try Guarder, will give em a go next time I get the chance. From a bit of searching its claimed by some some that they are BLS OEM. The 1000 bag for the heavier weights makes trying them an attractive proposition.
  17. Seemed to fit without any issues. Barrel is a Lambda 6.05. The E&L AKM also works well with a Retro arms hop unit on a PDI 6.05 barrel (that's my friends setup). Combat Union is a pricey unit but I should be comparing the cost to a Maxxx item rather than say a Lonex.
  18. Was going to say I haven't any E&Ls at the moment but have a friends AKM I was doing a bit of work on. Will have a looksy and get back to you.
  19. Thing is very sturdy when its attached to the barrel. Tried a few different hop up rubbers for fit. A Lonex didn't stand a chance of getting in. Then went to a Prometheus purple which barely fit and tore near the barrel end. Moment of dread trying to get it out but it eventually came back out. Might have fit if I had trimmed off a mm or so. Lastly tried out a G&G green which fitted snugly but well. Still waiting on other parts before I can reassemble it the build but first impressions are promising.
  20. Picked up a new hop up unit. Thing is fairly robust, beats the Lonex and Retro Arms for build quality.
  21. All the more reason we need a HK 21 aeg, close to optimum barrel length.
  22. A while back remember reading that it was beyond 509mm that negative effects kick it. That was a US based forum, so that might have been with the mindset of dropping a M120 spring in everything. The 455mm makes more sense. Thanks for the info.
  23. A while ago 455mm was being thrown around as the optimum barrel length. Now it might have its origins in sniper forums or a particular TM model was similar length and had great performance.
