i dunno, he's at least not put an m4 stock on it. not a massive fan of the railed top covers but i can respect the choice compared to trying to get a siderail mounted properly.

Have you seen the bore offset on some of the siderail stuff? Forget cheek weld or even chin weld, its beard weld and only if your a wizard

nah, it's still used by people too poor to afford zenitco (ie me ) i still view m4 stocks as heresy, but dragging an ak through the zenit catalogue can be good. tbh if money wasn't an object i'd probably be going big time into siderail optics, but there's not many decent airsoft repros of the more eclectic stuff.

the general rule is if it doesn't fit then make it fit. ak's tend to be a lot more hands on when it comes to this kind of modding than the likes of ar's. thing is most folks wanting the more premium ak's tend to want the nice blued reciever hence having to get the pricier guns to begin with. the only thing to mention is it looks like the 710 is using a custom gas block? i considered one myself although ended up going classic with an akm.

tbf the price might not be so bad with all the bits included? the gun looks to be £550 out the gate and gbbr mags aint cheap. that said, gonna need more than a single pic for someone to be willing to part with that kind of moolah.

avenger sells a lot of guns like that, the running theory being he's basically acting as a shop. it's been discussed a few times but the consensus is it's within the rules.

i'm not sure how i feel about this project. the last thing we want is for people to see a novritsch logo on a gun that actually works

Well today was a hell of a shoot, some real good gameplay and the ak was shootin lovely all day. Glad of it too, back into lockdown next week so no shooting for a while

i kind of view it as standard just because it's a drop-in replacement for a standard (no fancy nubs required like the ml stuff). but at this point we're haggling on terminology. they're pretty decent, certainly i'd prefer them over the prommy for the up to .32 ish range although if your trying to lift heavier it'll struggle. basically i put them in guns that don't like ml stuff. yeah, it's a case of folk recommending things they think they can trust. but often there can be a lot of parroting going on. personally i try to only suggest things i've used myself and found to be good, if i'm suggesting something based on reputation alone i try to mention it. aoe is the oddball though, it does have its place and there are valid reasons to check it but often folks set way more store in it than is really necessary and you get folk over-correcting or applying corrections to guns that don't need it because "you always have to correct the aoe"
