reckon if you can find an upper that sits nice, using an original lower wouldn't be too hard, if you're building on an hpa base then the engine can sit in the upper and all you need to do is find a way of mounting a microswitch to the trigger. i did mount a carbon handguard to my "in spirit" recreation, although it's a somewhat heretical cludge made of a bit of tube i definately didn't lift out of a skip.... really the objectives are accuracy, light weight (using modern materials where possible) and good balance. as with all airsoft creations i give it about 2 weeks.....

fair enough. if anything i'd suggest the classic plastic m4 forend for light weight, you could go magpul moe if you wanted a more modern look.

What kind of jam? If its just not picking up a round then you could look at increasing dn to give it a bit more time to let the bb up from the mag

i may not be lacking in the gift of the extended waffle, but i think stretching out how ambidextrous the 3 controls on a glock are to an hour is beyond my talents i don't do display peices, i'd be fielding that for sure.....

You can do an "in spirit" replication of it for airsoft. I am kind of tempted to try and get my hands on the proper handguard/lower reciever at some point.

i dunno, for a fully loaded shower shell dont think it's that bad, you could legit throw a handful of bb's harder.

what are you using the gun for? where are you playing? because what attatchments are a good idea for your gun are going to be very situational. for example if you do a lot of CQB in dark environments then a torch and a tracer unit would be very useful, but pretty much pointless weight if you're doing day shoots outdoors. i'm kind of with skara on just shoving a t1 (other small rds systems are available) on there as a unity red dot is basically the only "universal" accessory that can do equal service in all environments. edit: i'm blind, only just noticed the woodland in the title lol. for woodland the above still applies, grams have a nasty habit of weighing more by the end of the day so if it doesn't add any benefit to the gun then no point lugging it around.

good news, you may very well be in luck. unless cybergun have changed oem's it'll be a g&g f2000 which is one of those rare guns that has an adjustable spring system. if you pull off the butt-plate you'll see a hole at the top with a screw in it, there's a 4mm hex screw for the main adjuster and a seperate lock screw that takes a giant flatblade. start with the flatblade and back it off all the way, then unscrew with the 4mm hex until you get your desired fps (hopefully it'll back out far enough to drop it low enough) when you're done lock it up, i find backing the main adjuster into the lock screw seems to be a bit more solid than the other way round. be aware though, that's a very annoying setup when it randomly decides to loosen on you mid-game and starts backing out itself.

hmm, i agree an arp556 shouldn't be too much of a problem for fitment. i'd take a look at both the hop bucking (specifically feed lips) and possibly the hop mounting (ie maybe the whole hop unit is sitting forward) pretty normal to use a spring/silicone tube/bunch of o-rings in front of the hop unit to make sure she's pressed nice and tight to the gearbox.

there's a multimedia section, think there was talk of having a specific section for self promotion. it's a pretty quiet subforum though, you might not get too many folk looking.

what gun is it going in? the f2 will be as sensitive to nozzle length as an aeg, so whilst *most* m4's and ak's are probably ok with the stock nozzle, if it's in something more esoteric, or there's some other problem with the hop unit/nozzle alignment then you can get air leakage. way to test for that is to see if you get air coming down the feed tube when firing, needless to say the perfect scenario is all the air going down the barrel. i'm finding around 75-80psi is what i'm needing to get 1j on 0.32g ammo out of a 250mm barrel (and that's with a low-flow poppet) so i'd be inclined to think there's definately a leak somewhere.
