  1. Even if its acceptable under the carriers policy you could have issues with site staff not knowing policy. Not me personally but friends on a uk internal flight get held up because of airsoft they had declared and only just made their flight. There also could be a cost implication in that the carrier may require a real steel gun case with specific locks that could end up being exspensive.
  2. how cold is cold? if its below 10c that's actually pretty good. was it actually able to empty a mag. I personal just write off sub 15c days as not for pistols. You could put higher flow parts in the mags but this only a part year problem.
  3. done it twice both went walkies and i was out of pocket as insurance didn't cover it.
  4. Well this is optimistic https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/134032407430?hash=item1f34f43b86%3Ag%3AzzcAAOSwZ0diFUFf&LH_ItemCondition=4
  5. nah it using over pressured gas. People keep saying TM will handle green gas fine, they don't if you haven' broken a TM using over pressured gas you are just lucky.
  6. Well done very cool you will however be sweaty when you wear it. do you have spare lenses as i would point blank test them make sure they ae up to it and that they won't come loose.
  7. yeah that's a typical crack of a slide cycling too hard. the gun is not designed to use Green gas the effect will be worse in doors due to a higher ambient temperature increase the gas power especially if you are dry firing.
  8. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Airsoft-Magazine-Armorer-Hi-Capa-Pistol/dp/B08PNQ7YP6 they should be TM/WE compatible
  9. what this man said I have done mag dumps with a full auto MP5 at a range in the USA and the thing barely moved. Of the two TM hands down it's much more user friendly requiring significantly less maintenance, won't suffer performance issues due to temperature and will just have (if not external quality) much greater build quality. if you must have a GBBR MP5 I would look at WE MP5s over VFC.
  10. Most places I have played at the sign sheet also act as a declaration that the signer has read and agreed to follow the site rules. They also had a verbal brief.
  11. Yeah about right. A bit of tweaking you might get a bit more range. But if you can hit a target consistently at that range you are good. Most airsofter can't judge distance and forget that a pistol is a back up and expect to be getting aeg range.
  12. Over the last 23ish years I have had a short attention span and have bought and sold many guns for next to nothing that people now want stupid money for these days.
  13. What ever you think of the quality of the paint job it is a custom paint job. Any way holy expletive delete I have no idea if they'll get their asking price but this really makes me regret selling mine 15 years ago for about £100 https://prefired.co.uk/ads/magpul-fpg-w-original-receipt-7x-mags/ (spoiler i sold it because it didn't work very well)
  14. I would also consider looking at second hand especially if you are looking to mod as warranty isn't a consideration.
  15. Bit of an oxymoron as soon as you open it up what ever reliability you had is gone just go for what you like the look of.
  16. About 2 weeks but I ordered two pistols helmet might be much quicker.
  17. The real steel USP compact only weighs 770g unless you have handled the reel steel you really going to be able to tell less yhan a 100g difference? I have the full size TM USP it's a comfortable gun with a good kick. Honestly we should be following real steel lighter is better the weight of your load out adds up.
  18. have you checked the sales section on the forum or put a wanted add up?. TM glocks appear to be out of production while they sot out an issue with the newer generation glocks. Also what gas have you been using in it?
  19. My go to recommendation gun the cyma M14
  20. That would explain why firesupport have taken off all the TM Glocks. I was really wanting a G26 as well.
  21. So got a JG MP5k with the upper receiver that's cracked do decided to convert it to an A2. And bought a ICS receiver not realising the MP5K had V3 gearBox not a v2. So anyway can't find an ics v2 shell for love nor money so I want to know is there any issues with using some other manufactures v2 shell?
  22. do you know how to strip it? if so check to see if there is any silicon oil on it. i recently bought a TM USP which was sticking i found out it was bone dry and issues were sorted when i lubed the piston and the hammer mech.
  23. Total an accident unless the shooter was using the weapon in a way that would obscure their peripheral vision.
  24. Yep it would be nice. except my case I know it was said in the brief they just didn't listen.
  25. They have exactly the same trigger mechanisms as the m1911A1 and the series 70s and warriors. The physical triggers vary in depth which could make the trigger feel more sensitive but they still have the same amount of travel. Or could be just a case of different levels of wear on the mech.
