  1. I have bought guns before decided I didn't like them/wanted something else and sold them without ever doing anything than a test shot.
  2. I generally find gillihie suit wearers complain about getting shot by there own team alot for that reason. My opinion is team tape should not be hidden and if you can't see it shoot them.
  3. Dose the original mag catch work in the new kit and is it with all your mags? options are all the mags are worn and so there is not enough contact to lock them in place or the mag catch just doesn't have enough material on it in the 1st place to engage the mag. or the blow back unit is not seated properly and not allowing the mag to lock in properly. 1st does the mags lock solidly with the slide off? if yes its the blow back unit. if no do the mags hold in place if you remove the spring and just put pressure on the mag release on the opposite side to the release button? if no mag catch is the issue if yes spring is the issue.
  4. ASG Blasters have been banned at several sites due to shattering. I generally use Geoffs.
  5. 1st airsoft was an Auto 9 springer from Wonderland models in Edinburgh. 1st proper airsoft for skirmishing was a TM Thompson M11A1
  6. Don't up grade a gun until you have actually used it and see that it suits your style of play. 1st thing you should do is clean the barrel. Next thing is set the hop, go to the range at your site and take some time to get the gun set to the weight and make of BBs you wsnt to use. Krytacs reputation is perfectly fine but over priced for what they are. if I was spending that much on a gun I would expect it to be good out the box.
  7. honestly best Glock 19 Tokyo Marui, WE over priced for what it is Umarex.
  8. the V10 has TMs newer blow back unit which is more efficient than the detonics which is almost 20 year old design. the V1O mag is larger so more bbs more gas
  9. You will be cheaper buying a PSG-1.
  10. CYMA M14 AEG (its a real world DMR in 7.62) cheapish with decent range out the box. What reviews state TM auto pistols break often. there is only two models Glock 18c and a hi Capa and they have pretty much the best after market support for parts and up grades. any way full auto is not really useful in a back up pistol so best would be TM MK23 NBB. draw back is its huge and NBB. other wise cheapest good option would be a TM 5.1 hi capa or one f the Glock series. personal preference is the TM HK45 and a lot of people swear by the FNX45.

Yes these are cheap toy guns of course they break. All i can go on experience After 22ish years of playing and owning 100s of gun I find TM break less frequently than other brands and last lot longer before they do. However there will be some one somewhere that has a WE 1911 that has worked flawlessly for 15 years and empties a mag no matter what temperature, stranger things have happened.

Granted there some TM models that have been around since the late 90s but they are the cheaper ones. TMs new releases always have some sort of improvement and you are paying for Japanese quality control and development over Chinese sweat shop qc and nicking Japanese designs. Prices have gone up all around and most TM pistols can be had for sub £150 if you go to the right shops
  13. What gas you using? That would be your first start if you are using green gas drop to 144a. After that lighter springs in the trigger mech. Have to say this is the 1st time I have heard of a pistol fps limit other than the legal limits.
  14. They get marked the minute you use them so let them wear naturally. Will do preventative maintenance to stop any rusting but its too much effort to keep them pristine.
  15. Collecting is not a defence to import airsoft RIFs. your options are get your UKARA or join a re-enactors group.
  16. have you actually gone on a measured range to see how far you are hitting? My TM 416 can do 50m consistently on 0.28s and can get 65m with a bit of a lob shot. with out dumping serious money and going to DMR power levels you really aren't going to get much better than that. the Whole point of the TMs is that they do what they are designed to do consistently and reliably. accept it's limits and enjoy it or pay a tech to build for you and say good by to another 5/600 quid and you'll have a gun that shoots maybe 10m further and runs the risk of shitting its self at any point.
  17. As an out the box DMR a cyma M14 would be a good start, its relatively cheap has good range out the box and can be improved with a hop rubber and barrel up grade (though just cleaning the barrel will improve accuracy). It doesn't need a MED and retains full auto.
  18. It will be expensive to post and you'll have little to no come back if the rif is broken in transit or just plane goes walkies. Sold stiff in Europe twice. twice guns disappeared with me out of pocket.
  19. I would assume the grips have weights in them trying to add some heft to the gun. Are the real steel versions have significantly different weights?
  20. I may be wrong but my understanding is the op is using the rail and doesn't like the gap the rail creates.
  21. Do you mean this https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/double-bell-m203-40mm-under-barrel-9-grenade-launcher the M203 was designed to hang of the barrel so any ris is going to have a large gap. Options are live with it. Or get a launcher designed with ris in mind. A mad bull or an EGLM.
  22. they may have improved but a few sites have banned blasters for miss shapen/ shattering BBs
  23. Possibly the spring on the trigger bar is gone. it's under the right hand grip panel.
  24. budget recommendation: CYMA M14 this is a clone of the TM version and shoots fantastic out the box, can still be got for £150ish and you get shorter barrel version which will do CQB and out doors, Pretty much any CYMA metal body AK. Mid budget: they are old now but Tokyo Marui P90 RD using MAG 170rd mid caps are a great platform for cqb and can hold their own in wood lands. you could also get a 5-7 as a side arm. Tokyo Marui AUG something different. has take down function so you could swap out receivers/ barrels for different configurations. has progressive trigger or selector switch for semi/auto fire. Top end: Tokyo Marui Scar L Recoil is one of the cheaper of the recoil but has all of the functionality of the newer models. for shits and giggles tokyo Marui AA-12 with a drum mag. Full auto, triple barrel shotgun with recoil. whats not to love?
  25. Cheers for that any replacement stocks you'd recommend not in love with the stock one.
