Worst Classic Army Sportline P90, felt cheap, sounded like a rubber band when it shot and had sod all range. Best value CYM1 M14 sold build great range. Best gun TM 416 Recoil, just feels quality and just performs. Funnily enough had an ICS Galili had no power but great range. regret selling it considering how much they cost now.

With regards to the M249 there are the G&P (uses V2 gearbox, Classic army (proprietary gearbox), A&K ( clone of Classic Army) Ares (Clone of the Classic Army gear box except the nozzle is off set and uses a proprietary tappet plate). anything else is mainly just a rebranded A&K. The classic Army clones have AOE issues and strip pistons( but are easy to work on) RPK uses a standard V3 gearbox, A&K PKP uses the Classic Army gear box, MG42 (proprietary gearbox, the gun it's self is fragile). Classic Army Stoner 96 (basically M249 internals). Oh forgot A&K M60s again ( clone Classic army gearbox same issues). Personal choice would be G&P MK23 but they are hard to get hold of and over budget. Land warrior have some relatively cheap A&K m249 in the moment and have decent parts support.

Well did a GBBR AK that was £150ish pre covid. Think it was a WE clone.

£80 to £90 if its in perfect condition. Selling with out a mag really effects value.

Well just tried to order and same issue. So bought from davescustoms as for some reason they are 30 quid cheaper if you are prepared to wait for 14 days for delivery.

Not a fan of the lever controlled hop units which most of the TM copes have. Trying to remember which ones have rotary hops. Might be classic army

I think that is just a standard v2 gearbox. It's a good list. I personally prefer plastic nozzles and i would make measure the existing nozzle to make sure they are the same. Onc3 you have a chrono get a base line of the range, grouping, rate of fire and power you are getting. Stick to changing one thing at a time then test again. Also do you have grease? You can be amazed at the increases you can get from just cleaning, greasing and shimming your gearbox . Oh you also want to check how much play there is in your hop arm if its loose you can get inconsistent hop applied to the bb. That's sortable with shims.

1st which brand of scar do you have there might be compatability issues. Next what do want the gun to actually do? Next don't do everything at once you need to know what mod actually works. I would start with just the hop rubber and nub. See what that does maybe Next get the barrel. Would then get the mosfet (maybe at same time). see if that combination gives you the results you want before spending more money. Also if you don't have one get a chrono. No point moding a gun only to be told you can't use it on the game day if it fails a chrono spot check.

Airsoft springs aren't made to high enough standard to work out and even if they were you got far too many variables that determine FPS that would have to be eliminated to make a calculation.

37mm its chunky enough i run it on my 416 and i like the look. the PEQ is fairly flimsy not sure how it would hold up to a BB strike. i generally have it side mounted so unlikely to get hit.

So far so good for me Chrono was accurate and the ammo counter works.

muppet here just saw the price when i ordered managed to miss the bit that said the trads were removed. to be honest i am getting to i am bored with it stage and just might flog it on for something different.
