  1. Cool, thanks for correcting me but fuck off really
  2. ireland (1J limit) 100m range. What the fuck?
  3. TM clone, so I reckon any TM spec MP5 magazine catch will do
  4. It's cheap, it's lightweight, works well, has good iron sights, takes cheap glock magazines, there's a whole host of cosmetic and performance upgrades available. What more can you ask? I say AA got it extremely right from the start. But now they need to hurry the fuck up and release the goddamn M-Lok handguard.
  5. Depends on the gun, what are we talking about?
  6. You need some short stroke buffers methinks
  7. Same here when I started. It was either TM/CA/ICS (for well over €300) or JG/Asia Electric for €150, and back then JGs and the likes would rarely survive three skirmishes in a row without stripping something or blowing up.
  8. Mhm, usually no. When parts break people generally use aftermarket parts, unless the broken bit is proprietary, in that case you're in for a whole lot of pain because certain brands/parts are absolutely impossible to find or are so expensive that it turns out cheaper to just buy a whole new gun instead. Your best bet would be to look at retailers boneyard sections, you might find an almost complete gun at a real bargain price to source spares from. In theory a manual with an exploded diagram should be included with the gun, failing that it's always worth to send the OEM a mail asking for the diagram of your gun (listing model, year blah blah blah all the boring details).
  9. And just like that, TriggerHappy is back from the dead
  10. THIS. By buying a G&G you're paying for the brand, not the item. Also they've gone apeshit crazy with their proprietary magazine pricing...
  11. Yo we need a badge for all the active users who end up in Macks
  12. I love how there is absolutely zero trace of mp5 high caps and ak74 flash mags in italy -.-

Seems to be a huge shortage of MP5 midcaps in general from what I see. If I could source a box of straight one's it'd incredibly influence my "next" purchase but just can't find them anywhere.

cyma ak mags aren't the nicest externally, but goddamn do the midcaps just feed

recently swapped the springs out of a bunch of cyma mids into me e&l 7.62 mags so now i have shiny mags that also work :P

Even though I’m a mid cap man through and through I still enjoy the guilty pleasure of going out on a game or two with just me gatt and a couple of hi-caps , no rig no pistol nothing else just the gun and a mag or two stuck in my pockets every now and again ! 😈😁

  13. All of them and none of them at the same time. It's a shit answer, I know. They're all equal in terms of what you get in the box: a gun that is for the most part in working order and that only requires a battery and some bbs. Diving deeper into how each manufacturer does things, I found G&Gs to be lagging behind in terms of technological solutions, on the basic CM16 models the hop unit is the old style with three gears which is known for undwinding itself with use and it's not precise in adjustment, their gearboxes are not the strongest out there, they don't have QC spring guides (it's not mandatory but it's a nice touch should you ever get into teching) and the bushings they use are bad (brass). Also G&G barrels are abysmal, very low quality pressed tinfoil that gets scratched if you look at it funny. Specnas (Core series) on the other hand sport 8mm steel bushings, QC spring guide, the absolutely fantastic ZCI rotary plastic hop unit and decent quality (for the price) 6.03 brass inner barrels. They also come at a slightly lower price point than G&Gs which opens up more room for upgrades should you decide to. Cymas have made a huge leap in quality recently, I remember Cymas being rather bad when I started playing some 12 years ago, they would struggle to survive three skirmishes without breaking something. Now though, they punch well above their weight when you consider how little they cost. AKs in particular seem to be the n.1 alternative if you don't want to spend E&L/LCT money. I had a go with a Cyma M14 socom not long ago and honestly it didn't feel like a €150 gun at all. ASG does mostly distribution (so rebrands) with one exception, the scorpion evo, which is the only gun they make in house (to all the Bren fanboys, it's made by King Arms). What style of gun would you like to have?
  14. Same crappy gearbox inside, but the 2.0s have much better externals, the polymer body feels really nice
  15. Are you a KM fan perhaps? because this is one of the most retarded rules I've ever heard of and it's legit asking to be abused by the less mentally challenged airsofters. The problem is that you all should stop bitching about getting shot in the face, you're literally feeding KM's weird pain fetish with more and more content to put out. Wear your fucking face pro and quit acting like manchildren. Don't want to? accept the consequences, like @Tommikkajust said. If people suddenly stopped giving shits about being shot in the head he wouldn't have anything on that front to make content out of, but apparently it's a 5000 IQ play.
  16. Okay the AW extendo is shit. It went through a whopping 10 bbs before running out of gas. Meanwhile them WE mags ran flawlessly even in sub zero temperatures. Pumping out all 23+ rounds without any sign of cooldown.
  17. Because it never gets below 0 here and usually it creeps up to 9/10 on a sunny day in this period, so black gas isn't really needed. Also yeah, need to pack a fleece because it's gonna be brutal, that part of the field is also wet af all year round
  18. Same, I didn't buy them at once, but one/two every order so now I have a nice stock of parts. Anyway, tomorrow I'll be taking the SMG with me and it's gonna be a cold temperature test, forecast says -8° at 8 am on the field, rising to -2° by noon. I honestly expect malfunctions and poor efficiency on the extendo but good performance on the WE mags, I'll be running nimrod green gas (nuprol 2.0), place your bet.
  19. It's a slippery slope tho. It made me buy about 12 maple leaf rubbers last year now the silicone ones have hit the market, I suspect I'll get another 12 soon -.-
  20. It appears to be a Well L96, so plenty of spare parts available. Go check https://airsoftpro.cz/en/
  21. Let's be honest for a second. I don't get WE, they had the chance to make a cool GBB like a Tec-9 lookalike (so AAP style upper, correct magazine placement and most importantly, glock magazines instead of some proprietary shit)... They instead decided to clone the AAP but make it more complicated to use (hop adjustment, for example) at a price point that can't compete with the AAP (because it's a €85/90 pistol, I reckon the WE is gonna be at least 120/130)... why....
  22. I-Key, H-Plate, however you want to call them, they all do the same thing I used I-Keys because I had some in my box o' hops, if I had Hadron parts I would have used those instead By the way, WE has now released a, not surprisingly, really bad clone of the AAP, same upper but with a glock lower, while overcomplicating the overall design..
