Fitting 4 buckles to the hydro pack is hardly "extensive modification" , especially when you consider for £50 (or prob less) your adding a whole new aspect to a rig you already get on with, better comfort, h2o carrying capacity (which also offsets some of the weight on the front, plus some extra molle on the back, I've got an assortment of pouches that fit on mine, from a regular utility pouch, a much larger hsgi pouch to a Tasmanian tiger monster pouch that'll take respirators etc, lots of options for very little outlay ? failing that, I doubt anybody makes what you want lol😜 Lol, all this talking about it makes me want to go out & get a tmr, do the mag pouches on it take m14 or fal mags ?

Eureka, I think I've got it 🤔 Condor hydro harness mated to your TMR, it has a four row wide molle section on the lower back, allowing fitment of an extra utility pouch or even bigger ?, but it's still low profile enough to put a pack on over it. Plus it'll be more comfortable on your shoulders than the skinny TMR straps.

I once had an amazing zahal idf commando vest, no molle but came with a couple of different style small back packs that nexus/velcroed in place, was made of a very soft (but strong) material, super lightweight when empty, literally no weight to it & amazingly comfortable, covered in useful pouches, & mag pouches big enough to take galil mags. only reason I got rid was I'm 6.2 & it was short in the body, possibly a plus for you @Skara only problem is I now can't remember the model name, & googling is just coming up with the more recent molle vests they're now using. EDIT: another search is now making me think the vest was made by marom dolphin rather than zahal ? another option is an old gen hsgi Denali or Warlord chest rig ?

Are you inverting mags ? (Turning them upside down to fill) The gas is a liquid essentially, so flowing down is much more efficient.

Owns one for skiing etc, or mistakenly bought one of the bodged up obscenities he's marketed ? All you've done is express the sentiments we're all feeling, something we tell every new player that's asks what they need: NUMBER ONE, QUALITY APPROVED EYEPRO, everything else is secondary.

@Skara I'm shifting my warrior DAR, not suggesting you buy it lol, but something like it, has its own internal mag pouch setup (6 mags), fronted by loads of molle, plus will hold any size mags, whereas many similar setups are designed for 5.56 mags only. Attached pics are someone else's, I run mine with a condor hydra pack which is very low profile & better option for spreading weight than the standard X-straps, plus its low profile enough to wear with a Bergen.

I'm a big advocate of the MLE, I've got two, one of which I'm gonna dye black, but yeah it looks a lot like the MAV that skara has just ditched, whether or not there's any difference in the materials or fit that might be an improvement on the MAV, I dunno ? Not entirely sure what will "fit" so to speak, what about trying a zip up waistcoat type vest, such as a warrior TMV ?, lightweight & full molle coverage front & back, sits slightly higher than most waistcoats to allow for belt kit & even has a built in holster pocket. Was kit tends to be very well made. One thing you've not mentioned is camo/colour, obviously not everything is available in every camo.

I think deep down we all know that those who purchased these craphats aren't seasoned players, more likely to be noob teenagers with a hankering for warq style kit but pocket money funds ? all you can do is cane the shit out of the pages the knobs selling on, in order to prevent future sales & maybe encourage those who have blown their wad on this pos to attempt a return/refund, don't suppose the seller will be keen but maybe PayPal etc might be compliant if the "fit for purpose/safety factor" is pursued ?

I was just about to recommend a molle bandolier, on mine I get an inverted serpa holster, 4x 7.62 tactical tailor shingles that will hold pretty much any mag, then a 5.56 tactical tailor shingle for an m4 size speedloader, & piggybacked on to that is a twin pistol mag holder. the whole thing is very lightweight, sits high across the chest & doesn't impede movement at all, & you can supplement it with a belt order if needs arise. @Skara, as you've said, you've got rigs that cover the two ends of the load carrying spectrum, this would be something completely different again, totally unlike your other rigs. like you, I've got shit for every occasion, & if I don't own it currently, I probably have previously only to find I didn't get on with it, but the bandolier is an old favourite that I'll always go back to, especially if I want a high speed low drag loadout (lol those were the days when I could move at speed🤣/😢) Worth considering ?

Agree, only time I'd even consider a bit of kit that's being touted as "upgraded" is if it's a long time forum member with impeccable credentials & continued forum input, I'd trust that waaay more than a relative unknown quoting work done by xyz at so&so airsoft shop. but I also don't believe in upgrading unless something really needs it, as in its fucked 💩☠️👻

As a job lot you will struggle, maybe break it down in to bundles, guns individually, maybe loadouts ?, clothing & vest combo's etc, or alternatively list everything in individually & see how you get on, decent pictures make a big difference, lol no black rifles on a black background in darkness 😜
