March 29th - 'Organised Outdoor Sports Can Take Place'
Tackle replied to LSUK's topic in Latest News
Whether it's big events, or the activities of lone individuals, everyone who doesn't do their utmost (within reason ?) to prevent the possible spread has responsibility, but unfortunately there are some, & I'm not talking about the loony denier's, just regular people who still don't accept the seriousness of this situation that's been with us for over a year FFS, & still keep taking chances with the lives of others. A recent good example, mobile hairdresser in East Sussex, even though visiting other households was strictly forbidden, she kept working, EVEN WHEN SHE TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID, & when found out she was given a fine......FFS SHE SHOULD HAVE BEEN LOCKED UP🤬 When your up against that kind of ignorance & stupidity within society, what chance have the vulnerable amongst us got ☹️ -
The MLE is superb, light but strong, very comfy & the harness has molle so a hydration pouch can be mounted, didn't take mine off for 72 hours straight, barely felt i was wearing anything, & easy to wear a Bergen with it. The rig with the horizontal pouches you've shown is marketed as a sniper rig, allegedly more suited for use in the prone position, I've got one but not had a chance to try it yet. As for osprey etc, heavy kit in comparison, I wouldn't bother.

As has been said, get anything BUT a plate carrier. Chest rig, belt kit with harness, maybe a molle bandoleer, any of them are waaaay more useful than a pc. If I had to recommend a budget rig that's a proven high quality, look at a bulle MLE rig, if your adamant you want more molle real estate similar to a pc, look for a warrior tmv, more coverage but a lot more breathable than layers of solid cordura. Or maybe a small molle grab bag, slung cross body with a pistol on your hip & dump pouch on the opposite hip. All works 👍

Thank the gods that we always manage to keep the threads on track 🤣

I had the oxford AstraZeneca jab yesterday, feel like hammered shit today 💩🔨, but good luck to you & yours, too much heartache around at the mo😢 Unfortunately our usual options are "who do I pick from this bunch of self serving twats", I've yet to see a politician or party that had the best interests of the population at heart...........👿

Sadly I too remember hungerford & dunblane, the latter was very poignant for me as my niece was the same age as many of the victims at the time, & a ban wasn't a knee jerk reaction, but was a somewhat heavy handed but simple response against a system that desperately needed an overhaul. As for the politics, total bs, much of the changes in legislation we now experience come down to the opinions of those in charge, sometimes the motivation is personal, or financial, often both. There are people that don't like guns, or what they represent, in much the same way there are people that don't like motorcycles, usually with no valid reason, but it's much easier for the anti gun lobby to garner support, which is why as Rif owners we've got to be at the top of our game, to appear almost Saint-like in the eyes of the media & authorities. For this reason I'm glad that FB keeps cracking down on Airsoft pages, 90% of social media users are thick as shit, so when it comes to our hobby most do more harm than good, at least with the forums there's a more proactive attitude to do (& say) the right thing, as well as vigilant admin to monitor it.

Lol, so your the jammy git that got it 🤤, did it go for the advertised price ? -
Also, given what we now know, the cynical side of me wonders whether "don't come to my house because of covid" is actually code for "don't come to my house 'cos you'll see how shit it is" ?

Was thinking the same thing, where is he 🤔
-
Lol, sorry bud, I knew I'd trigger someone, didn't think it'd be that quick 🤣

That's nothing, Nuprol can make a turd 💩 look like a rifle. (It's still a turd though lol🤣)

Dude, as Adolf Hamster has pointed out, those kinda holsters are notorious for releasing the mag when your on the move, but there's loads of hard shell holsters available for not much money, even a nuprol Hi-capa holster would be less than 20 quid, still cheaper than replacing a lost mag. -
They're all wearing them in Colchester 🤣

Thats cos he knows real "operators" (of which there are many in Airsoft 😏) don't want the smell of laundry detergent or fabric conditioner giving away their position if they're upwind of the enemy........ you know its true, next time you play, look around the safezone, it's usually full of sweaty looking bearded soap-dodging cnuts................ and thats just the marshalls 😜
-
What a greedy cnut😜, no wonder no one can get one, he's got them all 😭
-
-
Sounds like a great idea, but by the sound of them they'd probably cheat, more than likely start running hpa rigs😜

Not entirely sure why you guys are still debating the pro's & cons of UK firearms ownership, ain't ever gonna happen, will only get worse in fact in the case of law abiding citizens who would be prepared to go to the aid of others in the event of the kind of emergency situation being discussed. Will that concern criminals or lunatics though ?........ Don't be silly, those intent on doing harm will always succeed, in much the same way that is Airsofters are the pretty much the only people affected by the vcra.
