  1. With regards to "weapon regulations" etc, what's done to ensure that your personal weapons is exactly that, personal to you ?. by that I mean my personal weapon was an L1A1 SLR back in the day, obviously no rails etc, fixed iron sights & very rarely a fitment of a starlight scope for night ops, BUT something small that was done was the rear stock length was adjusted for optimum fit accordingly to size/arm length by way of spacer sets, now I don't know if this was done at company, battalion, or regiment level, or across all services, but I wondered if anything like this goes on now ?, obviously sights have to be zeroed but with picatinny rail systems most add on stuff can be altered in seconds according to your needs, by the user, but not necessarily in a way that improves marksmanship.
  2. I don't usually post on this thread, but I thought I share the ugliest rear stock known to man I've just bought, don't actually own a 249 anymore so this will be used in a project, prob one that baron frankinstein would be proud of lol, possibly a chopped down ugly mofo ebr...........
  3. Wasn't that you ?, my bad, I must be mixing you up with another douchebag rip off cnut ?
  4. HaHa, Busted lol, absolutely superb ? (Prob lied about the council estate too ?)
  5. Open the gearbox ?. Do that & you've just thrown away any warranty !. If it runs straight & within site limits then I'd always leave it be until it actually needs looking at, ideally after 12 months, hopefully much much longer lol.
  6. There's a lot of kit on the wall behind him, be interested to know is it all the DE range & how much of it does, or possibly will in the future, contain their new tech ?
  7. The argument that's older than time itself, "are you a retailer, no, then it ain't feckin new" ?
  8. £30 or not, small bit of perspex cut larger than the lens will enable you to fix it in place with some hot glue or clear silicon, means you'll get multiple outings with it instead of potentially binning it on its first game........ worth doing ? & Yeah, the gun looks way better slimmed down?
  9. Lol, I'd buy the cyma, in fact my first M14 was the TM, awesome gun & performance, which in a moment of madness I sold, years later I picked up a CYMA version, not expecting great things, wtf, how wrong was I, it's superb & so far a match for the TM. At the end if the day all our toys propel bb's, admittedly some do it a wee bit better than others, & maybe look slightly prettier when doing it, but does it necessarily justify the difference between a £120 gat & a £1000 gat, I don't think so, not for "playing soldiers" lol. The same could be said for things that go bang, his £180 TMR or my £40 dynatec ?, Which has been going strong for 18yrs. ?
  10. I'm gutted, finally found a site I wanna stick with, but they've just announced they're no longer running games there, & me one game away from getting my ukara up & running again after about 6 years without it, time I get it sorted again no doubt the price will have soared lol. @mightyjebus, it's all your bloody fault ?
  11. Not that much it doesn't, especially as there are viable alternatives still available, clearly he's massively overpriced it to allow wiggle room for haggling, hoping some desperate noob still pays more than RRP.
  12. It's literally double the average RRP (if you can find one in stock), I don't think "dreamer" is an accurate description for ads like that, maybe we need a "piss taking cnut" thread for the really speshul ones? I do hope he visits the forum ? ?
  13. Quick change spring too, this just keeps getting better, I can see Taiwangun selling out soon lol
  14. I've been on there a few times lately, but to be honest when scrolling through the aegs I've prob "faded out" the monstrous number of AR derivatives, plus double eagle isn't a brand I've ever considered, but that looks the dogs, with a lot of features for very little money, be interested to see what @mightyjebushas to say about after a few mags through it etc, back garden range maybe ?. sons gf is already talking about a backup to her uar, might do the job ?
  15. 'kin ell, that's a touch, who sells them ?
  16. Looks like one of those Digicon target shooter thingies (or a spin off/variant thereof), if it is you got the bargain of the year, while they weren't expensive when they came out bout 20 years ago, high FPS got them quickly banned in Japan, so the limited numbers got a cult following that pushed the prices sky high. Edit. Didn't know about the maruzen version (& copies), with 5 shots I'd be looking at building a funky sniper project (I'm old enough to be allowed to say funky?)
  17. Gorgeous ? (Link for the fal ?.......ps, not forgotten about the bandolier, just not found it yet?)
  18. As long as I'm not the ginger cnut in the middle ? Seriously, start with the fact it's "brand new", no it's not, there's no warranty & no proof it's not had 20j bb's through it in his yard ?. Reason enough not to pay close to RRP ?
  19. The cynical side of me might think that maybe he might feel justified with a relatively high s/h price if he can show potential buyers "look, this is what #####airsoft sells them for, therefore mines a bargain", irrespective of where his came from or how much he paid ?. These days, who really chucks their money at the first Google result that comes up without checking the competition ?
  20. Yep, internally, good job, but gotta agree externally it's hideous, why have such an iconic & rare design & then spoil it with attachments & tape. literally sometimes less is more ?
  21. Do you play, or collector only ?
  22. Nope, definitely a dreamer lol
  23. Lol, I was gonna do the whole "they make them so their robust & can handle being dropped multiple times", but thought it would be bad taste, you've said it so much better ??
  24. Nice rig mate, great example of all you really need?
  25. They like em like their women, plenty of curves. cant argue with that ?
