If it's bright, then it's legit ? (lol, just had to ask my son what they're like👴🏼)
-
What's funny is Skara's "spoken" (aka typed) is generally better than most of us brits lol 😏 Seeing it made me think, if, god forbid, we were all forced to use two-tones, would players: A. Hang up their guns ? B. Use two-tones, in the usual stock hi-viz colours ? C. Say feck it, & paint your guns in the most outlandish spray jobs possible, embracing all the colours available, including pink ? After all, as the late great Robin Williams once said, "its war baby, lets clash"

Is he a trader ?, If so didn't think that's allowed on here . Seems to have a massive amount of "new or like new" kit, & no shortage of extras & accessories.
-
Lol, I do, I wouldn't pay the silly RRP's of any of the "tacticool" brands, thank feck for eBay auctions. Paid £25 for my maxpedition gearslinger, wouldn't have gone much higher for that. & I'm not even Scottish or a Yorkshireman 😜
-
Not Airsoft as such, but I'm sure plenty of you guys appreciate a bit of maxpedition kit as much as I do, but this is mad, even new I wouldn't pay half what this guy's asking 😲, & his is s/h https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MAXPEDITION-12-x-5-Large-Black-Padded-Bottle-Holder-Zip-Up-Hydration-Pouch/313078550708?hash=item48e4ef90b4%3Ag%3ADaQAAOSw5VdeuFBY&LH_Auction=1 (It's a pouch to hold a bottle ffs)

Who were the retailers that couldn't be arsed to help ?
-
Lol No, prob should be though ? I've often wondered whether that's the thats the mindset with some overpriced sellers, in the knowledge that most underage or occasional players would rather stick pins in their eyes than buy two-tone........me included.
-
I think it's safe to say it's a monster piss-take, made worse by the fact it's someone who should know better. Well they are "new" after all 😏

By the time guys get to that level it'll be like teaching Nana to suck eggs lol, I'm just wondering how intense the system is nowadays to ensure man & machine work as one. As a young squaddie in the rgj, the emphasis on marksmanship was immense, including the tailoring your rifle. Obviously the quality of our servicemen (& women) is still top notch, maybe any serving players can comment on weapon personalisation & emphasis nowadays ?

Double Eagle M904g – Aka the Original Q Honey Badger
Tackle replied to mightyjebus's topic in AEG/GBBR Reviews
A very very nice man has already offered 😁, but as I'm waiting on two lots of surgery before I can play again, I'm holding off, plus at a rough guess I'm sitting on around 14 rifles & 6 pistols at the minute, so enough to keep me going (but it's on my shopping list along with an AA12, L1A1 & MK5 Sterling🤤) Very good advice mate👍, thankfully after 20yrs of playing I have a plethora of gun bags & hard cases 😁 -
The 'What have you just bought' Thread

Yep, I had an "UGG boot" sitting around for ages, but wasn't uggly enough for my needs lol, but this new one even makes me look me pretty, not an easy job 🥴 -
With regards to "weapon regulations" etc, what's done to ensure that your personal weapons is exactly that, personal to you ?. by that I mean my personal weapon was an L1A1 SLR back in the day, obviously no rails etc, fixed iron sights & very rarely a fitment of a starlight scope for night ops, BUT something small that was done was the rear stock length was adjusted for optimum fit accordingly to size/arm length by way of spacer sets, now I don't know if this was done at company, battalion, or regiment level, or across all services, but I wondered if anything like this goes on now ?, obviously sights have to be zeroed but with picatinny rail systems most add on stuff can be altered in seconds according to your needs, by the user, but not necessarily in a way that improves marksmanship.

The 'What have you just bought' Thread

I don't usually post on this thread, but I thought I share the ugliest rear stock known to man I've just bought, don't actually own a 249 anymore so this will be used in a project, prob one that baron frankinstein would be proud of lol, possibly a chopped down ugly mofo ebr........... -
Wasn't that you ?, my bad, I must be mixing you up with another douchebag rip off cnut 😘

HaHa, Busted lol, absolutely superb 👍 (Prob lied about the council estate too 😜)

Double Eagle M904g – Aka the Original Q Honey Badger
Tackle replied to mightyjebus's topic in AEG/GBBR Reviews
Open the gearbox ?. Do that & you've just thrown away any warranty !. If it runs straight & within site limits then I'd always leave it be until it actually needs looking at, ideally after 12 months, hopefully much much longer lol. -

There's a lot of kit on the wall behind him, be interested to know is it all the DE range & how much of it does, or possibly will in the future, contain their new tech ? -
The argument that's older than time itself, "are you a retailer, no, then it ain't feckin new" 😂
-
£30 or not, small bit of perspex cut larger than the lens will enable you to fix it in place with some hot glue or clear silicon, means you'll get multiple outings with it instead of potentially binning it on its first game........ worth doing ? & Yeah, the gun looks way better slimmed down👍

Lol, I'd buy the cyma, in fact my first M14 was the TM, awesome gun & performance, which in a moment of madness I sold, years later I picked up a CYMA version, not expecting great things, wtf, how wrong was I, it's superb & so far a match for the TM. At the end if the day all our toys propel bb's, admittedly some do it a wee bit better than others, & maybe look slightly prettier when doing it, but does it necessarily justify the difference between a £120 gat & a £1000 gat, I don't think so, not for "playing soldiers" lol. The same could be said for things that go bang, his £180 TMR or my £40 dynatec ?, Which has been going strong for 18yrs. 🤔
