  1. Well spotted, talk about inflation ?
  2. Me too, can't think why I've not started posting kit for sale ? ?
  3. Call me cynical, but when buying gats s/h I've stayed away from the likes of prefired etc, much preferring the forums such as this one, feedback systems, trading history etc all seems reassuring easy to find compared to pure selling sites, even the fact that if you have ANY concerns it's piss easy to contact other members who they've dealt with to get the skinny on them. am I the only one that sees it this way ?
  4. Ah, didn't know it only came with one hole, my dynatec top is like a collander as standard lol. Yeah I'd consider maybe two or three alternative vent holes, not too big & high enough on the sides to be useful, but not too close to the original hole that might weaken the structure.
  5. To be honest, unless you run them with 12g shotgun blanks (as I sometimes do?), 9mm or .206 blanks don't have enough oomph to propel stuff.
  6. Running socks, they might be french or Italian issue ? (Sorry Skara)
  7. Wtf is that about, are the regular shells made from jelly ?. The guys a proper tool, reading between the lines it should say "totally bodged AK, strictly sold as seen, mugs only need apply" ?
  8. My reference wasn't in relation to technical qualities, that appeared to be great, I just wasn't happy with a gun that emptied a mag in less than two seconds, the fire rate on mine was phenomenal, but that's not how I play so hence I soon sold it. didnt get on with my glock 18c either, prob for the same reasons. i like my guns like my wimmin, bit on the slow side lol ?
  9. Agree, the minute a guns painted, I reckon it's target audience for resale diminishes by about 70%, unless it's reflected in a lower price. Unless it's something like a unique geartech special, paint jobs are very marmite.
  10. £50 new with warranty, or £85 without & used loads.............I'm not sure?
  11. Kin ell, you seen the price of this one, he's havin a giraffe ?
  12. I picked one up with 3 mags, the right suppressor, & a matching shoulder holster for £75, yep it was a monster bargain, but I quickly sold it on, tbh they're not that skirmishable, silly rate of fire means you need a ton of mags. For £200 I'd be expecting about 6 mags to make it worthwhile.
  13. Mate, it is the complete point of Mack's, some people get it, others bite lol
  14. WTF, it's been taken down & I've not read it, I need a good laugh ?
  15. Yeah, funny that ?? Surely he'd affect other sellers less if he'd list multiple rifs in one thread ?
  16. Very true, thing is it's not like he's ever said "clearing out my massive collection of wall-hangers" or anything similar, which might have gone someway to explaining why so many supposedly "as new" guns. nor does he give any history or personal connection to the rifs he's selling, which is a red flag to me, most sellers will give some info, whether it's "nice gun but not for me" or "reluctant sale of great gun" etc etc, but here, nothing, even the gun info is a link from a website, usually the most expensive ?
  17. Also a very good practice when selling, I sold a pistol package a few years ago, something about the buyers attitude was moody, so got my son to film it while I put all three mags through it. Three weeks after selling said moody buyer says it's broken, & it arrived that way, demanding a full refund blah blah, what he didn't know was someone had given me a heads up that a week after I shipped it, he'd already tried to flog it on FB, for way more than he'd paid, while extolling it's excellent condition & fully working. Needless to say he got a great big "f#ck off you chancer", & went very quiet. Since then, on the very rare occasion that I sell rifs, I'll always make a vid of them working, cya lol.
  18. Well for starters it states it's "as new", when we now know it's nothing like as new, it's had cosmetic alterations, so therefore nothing like it was when it left the first retailer, & we know that a potential buyer will be at the very least the FOURTH owner, if calling "as new" isn't borderline fraudulent then I don't know what is ?. Definitely the smell of fish here ?
  19. I'm with Dave on this, without pics it didn't happen, especially the paint jobs, we need to check your work ?
  20. If it's bright, then it's legit ? (lol, just had to ask my son what they're like??)
  21. What's funny is Skara's "spoken" (aka typed) is generally better than most of us brits lol ? Seeing it made me think, if, god forbid, we were all forced to use two-tones, would players: A. Hang up their guns ? B. Use two-tones, in the usual stock hi-viz colours ? C. Say feck it, & paint your guns in the most outlandish spray jobs possible, embracing all the colours available, including pink ? After all, as the late great Robin Williams once said, "its war baby, lets clash"
