  1. At least you didn't say that one of her dresses could help an entire family.... If used as a tent 😆
  2. I'm in a sub category because I like to collect as well as play. I'll take a couple of different RIFs to a game day as backup but also to vary the playstyle. For example and M4 for one game and MP5 or AUG for the next... I do open them up and tinker when they need it but I don't 'upgrade' for FPS or ROF. About half of my collection are second hand that I have repaired or improved. I haven't spent more than £250 on a RIF that I use in game. (I have spent a bit more on collector ones like the M41A)
  3. Yeah, I've done a search for PMR446 WTs and found the Retevis RT24 and Baofeng BF888s look interesting. I'll see at my next game if they would come in handy.
  4. Yep, thanks for the info guys. Sounds like a bit too much fiddly hassle for me though 😏
  5. I was thinking of getting a set though I'm not convinced of their usefulness since my son and I usually split up and I imagine it would be very difficult to co-ordinate. What do people think about these? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/164690089977?hash=item26584b57f9:g:QbUAAOSwe-NgWpxv
  6. All airsoft mags are bad to drop because the feed lips are very delicate.
  7. Yep, it wasn't a lucky guess 😉 and don't forget the 7% discount if you leave it in the basket for 24hrs. That makes it £176
  8. He'll probably sell to someone without UKARA who can't get it cheaper from bbguns4less
  9. Sorry to hear GoopGoop. Yeah Brexshit really messed things up because before that they were really good when I had a faulty rif and sent it back no problem. Since it doesn't work you may as well open it up and it may be a simple fix. If you can't fix it you should be able to find a tech who will. Some of the £100 saving could go to repair and it may still end up a bit cheaper than buying from UK anyway.
  10. Just got a WE PX4 EXS 'Bulldog' Added the barrel adaptor so I could put in a slightly longer inner barrel. Shoots well at around 290fps and quite hefty at 814g Pics with the longer magazine. Also comes with a smaller one
  11. Thanks for the heads-up Druid. Yeah, I've been interested in this since it was announced but gona have to save up for it and will probably be a garden plinker and wall hanger rather than use in a battle. (Depending on performance of course) Hopefully Brexshit will be less of an issue by then or wait a bit longer for them to come into UK stock.
  12. Because you'll be losing them constantly. I don't see the point myself either but its an interesting concept so would be interested to see what you come up with #LancsSkirmisher85 I guess you could do a Cowboys vs Indians game but we know how that would end...
  13. Ooops. Details details 😆 I just saw MP7 and remembered seeing one 🙄
  14. Here you go in case you haven't seen:
  15. Sorry to hear that mate. Maybe keep an eye on classifieds to get a better bargain but make sure it isn't in Macks 😉 I'm lucky that I don't want anything else for a while
  16. From what I understand its a 'Perfect Storm' or 'Double Whamy' Covid has affected production in the East (and still is) PLUS The Brexit shit show has essentially cut us off from stock in Europe. So we'll have to wait for the UK suppliers to get their orders direct from Asia once production catches up with demand. Don't expect any bargain prices except on old stock stuff.
  17. Duno the site but may as well take it and see if you can talk to someone there. Based on the sites I know they wouldn't have a problem with that.
  18. The notch or sear catch is worn or some problem lining up with new trigger box. You'll need to disassemble to see which it is and perhaps order new part.
  19. No, the 'Activity' button isn't showing a list of the latest posts. Edit: Works now 😃
  20. Duno if you'll get a reply from Nathan as its 2 years old. You could wire in to the trigger contacts.
  21. I'd recommend a mesh lower. One which protects ears too. Much easier to breath and help reduce fogging.
  22. Welcome Truccka Its definitely a good hobby to share with the 'kids' (mine's 16 now) As Lozart said, there are several reliable makes to get started on. As well as G&G I'd suggest to look at SpecnaArms 'Edge', CYMA and JG (JingGong) Sorry, no experience with Dye i4 but suggest to get some 'CatCrap' (yes terrible name). It does help and you can use it on the rented mask in the meantime. Helmets are not a must but as well as holding a camera they can save you from a nasty bump if you fall. Especially if running a lot.
  23. Don't worry mate. Internet stuff can be a nightmare to resolve and you're providing a free service to us so no one can complain. Thanks for all the fish... I mean dedication 😁
  24. Not quite the old British stompers. Mine are very similar to these US jungle boots. Comfy but I got a bit of a blister at the back of the heel. I'll eventually get em worn in even if it kills me 😆
