Duno what you based that on. There have been a couple of lemons reported here but you can't immediately classify that as a plague. It would be interesting to do a survey actually.

Also look at JG. They've upped their game in the last few years.

People might call the police because 'that gun doesn't make any sound' 😆 While its better not to be seen, trying to stay hidden may look more suspicious if you are spotted. If there is no way to avoid being seen then just stay in the open and act like you belong there. If you've got a UKARA card then don't worry about it.

Welcome Rob. There's plenty of choice for the M4 and MP5 platforms with a wide price range so have a look around and read as much as you can. First choice to look at will be Electric (AEG) or Gas (GBB) operated. GBB is fun and closer to real but much more expensive to buy/use and limited ammo is a disadvantage in a game.

You can try to do everything yourself and worst case scenario if you can't get it back together or make it work then send the box of bits to a gun tech 😉😁 Would certainly be a good learning experience and may not be as difficult as you think. From my experience doing simple mods it just takes patience.

I think TG do not accept UK orders at this time but Gunfire do. NOTE: Gunfire checkout says 'Including VAT' but they told me that it does NOT so you'll have to add VAT plus Duty plus extra post to that total

Be careful with the stated VAT on the purchase page. I was going to make a purchase on Gunfire and basket stated "Including VAT" Luckily I asked them and they said VAT was NOT included so I guess they didn't update their website. So I would have been charged the extra 20% on entry to UK...

Also remember that with an order over £135 from any European retailer you will have to add 20% VAT + 2% Duty + (£8 to £12) delivery extra
