  1. Lonex Flash mags are my go to. Highly recommended and work with almost anything (Stupid ARX160)
  2. Standard AEG in that respect. Other V6 specific parts are the spring guide, tappet and bushings. I highly recommend changing out the bushings as the stock Cyma ones are awful. My brand new P90s ones were disintegrating out of the box.
  3. Stupid Bank Holiday. Cant find any site I can get to on public transport in the South East that A) Has space available and B) Hasn't moved the game day to Monday. Guess I'll spend the day staring at the wall tomorrow...

@MiK sadly no. I was learning before the pandemic. Won't be back at it until I get my second shot.

Don’t leave it too long matey - the learner needs vs driving test availability is absolutely insane atm.

There’s like 13% less ADI’s now compared to before and there was like 350,000+ driving tests to get caught up on, not counting so many learners losing their tests due to theory tests expiring.

I had one client who had their test one day after the first lockdown started……..he wasn’t best pleased but he passed just two days before the 2nd lockdown :D

  4. Not a chance. You'll only get what you want in HK or maybe the continent of you're lucky. The 5-7 upgrade stuff was scarce in the first place.
  5. New SE Tour Review: Ambush Airsoft in Chobham. Took me two weeks to knock this one out 😕 I am slipping.

Se Tour Review: Ambush Airsoft Chobham (Surrey) - Skirmish Sites, Stories & Reviews - Airsoft Forums UK (airsoft-forums.uk)

  6. Site Name: Ambush Airsoft Contact details: 07903880042 Website Address: https://www.ambushairsoft.co.uk Facebook Page: Ambush Airsoft | Facebook Site Address: Brick Kiln Farm, Old Lane, Ockham, Cobham, KT11 1NL Popped along on my lonesome to Ambush Airsoft on 16/05/2021. This is NOT the old Campaign site. Ambush recently gained the lease for the old Delta Paintball site that is across the road from Campaign. So the site is relatively new to the people running the day. Ambush Airsoft is your typical, if slightly overgrown ex paintball site. Multiple small zones separated out by fenced off paths. As it's a new site, there are no reviews so to speak out there, so figured getting one into the SE Tour would be a start. This is a small woodland site with some buildings, including the signature church and castle and a non running double decker bus. No real elevation so to speak, nor water features. Short/Medium engagement distance throughout. Good: Playing Area: Was the best part of the site, though I felt it was utilised poorly. There are a couple of well built large buildings including a two story church with pews and tower. There is also a small castle and village section. Some places are overgrown but added to the area in a positive area. There is a section with a gutted double decker bus surrounded by various obstacles. There is a large "Stockade" which is used for small and short games, which splits the field in half. Which was very well built. Value: Good value at £25 for the day including a free burger for lunch (I got two as they were going to be chucked out). Turn around time: Reasonably good turn around time, I was pretty knackered come the end and marshals kept putting on games despite chucking down cats and dogs all day. Chrono: Was good, everything was tested and marked. Usual 350 AEG/450 DMR/500 BASR. Chronoed on your own bb weight. Safe Zone: Large split safe zone with car park in the middle. All the tables and chairs were under cover. Very few players on the day so plenty of room. Average: Marshalling: Only one, sometimes two marshals throughout the day, the site has such small zones it's all that is required. Guy was friendly and took constructive criticism well. Could have changed the teams up a little bit. Safety Brief: Short and sweet. Covered everything. Usual Airsoft cringe gallows humour. Game Modes: Were fairly basic, mostly attack/defend games with a capture the flag game mode. Worked fine considering the small size of the zones. Car Park/Entrance: A long muddy driveway that got worse as the rain came down during the day. Follow the obvious path down. The entrance to the site is signposted. Car parking is adequate and right next o the safe zone. Toilets: Three portaloos. They all smelt pretty bad, probably didn't help with all the rain. Didn't dare go in! At least there are three of them! Food: Burger was included in the price which was good. Though I didn't inquire if there was an alternative. Nothing obvious though. Bad: Clientele: It wasn't "All" bad. But there were very few people turn up on the day. With so few people on your side, it only takes some people not playing for the objective and just muck about, to essentially lose the game before it even kicks off. I am all for having a laugh, but not at the teams expense. They were referencing and were clearly a fan of a Forum/Facebook Airsoft/Comedy/Authority celebrity. In fact they may even be a member here. Hit taking: Frankly awful, some of the worst I have personally experienced. A couple of instances of blatant cheating. I shot someone who I believe works at the site in the leg whilst I was hiding in the brush. BB Bounced off the leg, player flinched, looked down at their leg for a few seconds, brushed at it with their hand, then just kept shooting. As in the safety brief, even if you aren't 100% sure you got hit, take it anyway. It took me a couple of extra shots to get them to take the hit. Sadly the extra shots gave my position away to someone in the other direction. Another situation, CQB, ultra close range. I fired at someone through a doorway whilst they were looking the other way, bb bouncing off of their vest. They turned around and shot me, claimed that I dry fired. Note I shot with a GBBP. If I dry fired or ran out of ammo, the slide would have locked back. I showed them that, rattled off two more shots and then it locked back on empty. They still insisted I dry fired and carried on. Another situation, enemy player firing through a gap in the stockade wood that smaller then an A4 sized paper (Not allowed) I fired back at them, watching BB's pinging off them, guy clearly getting frustrated, maybe 10 or so landed without taking their hit. They fired back at me, I immediately took my hit and walked off. Complained to the marshal and the guy left early after one more round. The guy was a known regular. I was accidently killing my own team coming up the top of the stairs on the bus, even pointed out to the marshal. My own team weren't even calling their hits. No wonders the enemy team weren't either! Last game I played, last man standing, hiding behind a barrier. I knew the enemy was all around me, within 10-15 metres. I went full on rambo and let off at least 10 shots directly at multiple players before they realised where the fire was coming from, this was at a distance I couldn't miss. No kills whatsoever. A guy who was watching me who was already claimed I had hit at least 3 of them and couldn't believe they didn't call it. So really bad experience. Two people who I had chatted to throughout the day were independently complaining about how bad it was throughout the day and both left early and vowed not to return. Shop: Very little on offer. Didn't get a good look. Poor implementation: It's a new site, but it is obvious at least two of the 4 zones we played are too short for airsoft distances as the respawns were in range of each other. The wire fencing between zones has to be removed and just use the entire site at once. I hear that this will happen soon. Conclusion: A real struggle of a day and probably the worst day of Airsofting I have been to in some time. The playing area has good potential, but it would have taken so little effort to open up the zones into one big playing area. Hit taking and clientele were pretty bad. I probably wont be back, There are many other sites between myself and Chobham that do the same thing but better. Campaign, the site they used to own is still being run by the landlords at least once a month and from what I hear is a better site at time of writing. Bullpup Watch: Famas and SRS. Best Guess Map:
  7. Check your BB loading latch and spring in the hop unit. If the spring or latch is missing/damaged/weak it means nothing is preventing the BBs from loading one at a time.
  8. I have now given up on my order. UPS claim I refused the order, it's sat in a warehouse in Coventry for some reason. They asked me to ask Gunfire to start an investigation. I said that Gunfire started an investigation back in April. UPS claim Gunfire never started a claim. GF havent responded to my last 2 emails regarding an investigation. I have emailed Gunfire for a refund, if I don't receive it in the next couple of days, I will initiate a PP refund.

  10. Hello all. I put a new Maple Leaf Picatinny rail on my VSR. This one. Discontinued - Maple Leaf Horizontal Function Rail for VSR-10 | airsoft aeg gas blowback upgrade parts (wgcshop.com) However I am getting a lot of movement front and backwards and side to side on my Picatinny mounts. The bolts do not seem to be wide enough to fill the gap in-between each rail segment. Any ideas what scope rings/mounts I should use? I am currently using electrical tape to stop the wobble, but it's not a long term solution. Cheers. R
  11. Just rang UPS, answered almost immediately. Got passed to another person, they are unsure why I have the status message I have got on my tracking; as there clearly hasn't been a delivery attempt. The customer rep has left a message for the depot to contact me within the next hour with reasons.
  12. What the hell is going on here? I haven't received any notification of anything to refuse the order.
  13. Day 78: Parcel has been missing for 25 days since being released by Government agency. Have emailed UPS and Gunfire twice. No response from either.
  14. Anyone got any spare standard M4 (non rotary) hop arms they would part with? For standard nubs. The one that comes with the Tavor just works horrible due to its double nub design.

have a few lying around, mostly g&g i think if that's any help?

  15. The latest from me. Released by Government agency over 2 weeks ago and no update since then. It's been 10 weeks since ordering 😕
  16. Lonex version 2 Enhanced gearbox to replace my broken G&P one. 2x ASG Ultra Air.
  17. Having been to both, I would say Dogtag is the better playing area and overall site. But Driver Wood isn't that bad either.

    G36 Pmags

These have been reissued by PTS and are now available on pre order for 21 quid each from UK stockists. You might want to revise the price there bud
  19. The only ones I have found for sale in the entire world is Tiger111hk. They just got a bunch through. Never seen them anywhere else. Grab some before they all go.
  20. Cribbs would be ideal. I'll be Schlepping on Public Transport so some places will be out of reach. I'll be staying in Coalpit Heath so I can probably reach Cribbs by 9AM without issue. I did hear about the Cambourne site. I will be around Penzance and Plymouth area, so maybe Big Mommas north of Plymouth and the mine from Penzance.
  21. The Cribbs Black ops? I have been to the Portishead one. Always an option. I am thinking of going more into Cornwall and Devon, though I should visit the folks in Bristol.
  22. Yes. I have only just ordered it. Bargain for the money. Shipping kills it a bit though! These are made by E&L using the previous gen gearbox. Motor seems to be a white end bell Neo. I had considered buying before. But mags are rare as hens teeth. Look Like they managed to get a few in though. My intention is to go full Zentico with a PT1 stock and side rail mount. As this is a top loader the rear sight trunnion lacks the folding stock locking pin. Not that they could lock in with a PT1 anyway due to the mag width. Just needs a quality barrel, mosfet and Hop rubber and should be a goer! I am planning on spending a couple of months away from London on my own in the summer so bringing this would be ideal to visit some sites. No need to take more then two mags, just need a belt and dump pouch and the rifle folds down into a bag easily.
