  1. I would try new hop rubber + nub, and whilst you're there a new barrel (if you're feeling flush). Whilst my Tac 41 has just been dressed up and only had a spring change in it, the reviews say OOTB it should be pretty good.

Whack the hop up to overhop the 0.4's then dial it back to see what the flight path is.

A VMP wouldn't help address the issues of range/accuracy (i don't think, but happy for someone to correct me)but for more fine tuning and getting that last 5/10 fps.

  2. Personally i want a Volante FNX slide.

Wider view point - an affordable MILES solution that everyone would love and enjoy, and be affordable.

Failing that, someone to resurrect BO Dynamics electromagnetic gear box.

All 3 are about as realistic as the less fewer cunts opinion above.

I almost always use guns with MEDs, be it bolt actions or DMRs. Therefore I have a lot of really nicely upgraded pistols, because I use them a lot. I also like having a light and a suppressor on them, light for function, suppressor for tacticool-ness.

It has taken me this long to finally buy a good holster, but god damn do I like it and I should've done this a long time ago. It's a Deadly Customs DC5 universal light bearing and tracer holster with an m81 woodland cordura wrap, plus both a mid-ride mount and a molle mount with quick locking systems. All in, it was about £125, but worth every penny.

I run real-steel Surefire x300s on my pistols and the retention is a lot better than on the Nuprol NX300 that lives on my HK45 (that I don't really use much); HK45 with the Nuprol light fell out when I turned it upside down and gave it a shake, but when I put the Surefire on it, it stayed locked in. Holster fits all of my pistols that I tend to use and none of them are falling out with the real Surefire x300 on them, apart from the mk23 which is just too large. 1911 is quite tight as well because the slide is high, but it does fit. So that's the Hi-Capa 5.1, AAP, 1911 and p226 that all fit, as well as the HK45. All with suppressors on as well, and the AAP also has an RMR.

Glad I picked up an extra quick locking system and a molle mount, because it means I can just swap it over to a different kit, or mount it on a chest rig so I can use a GBB pistol on a chest rig as a cross-draw, and the mk23 on my DTD holster on my hip if I want both stealth and a bit of firepower.

    Such a good investment.

Just bought one of these based on this post - was looking for a universal light bearing holster and this combined with the ex-police x300's from ebay seems like a good fit

Oh, we're going to be sensible about this now? :(

Is the WE the only GBBR L85?  Given that we're moving towards the L403A1 / KS-1, I wonder if they'll just skip straight to an Assault-Rifle-15 GBBR.

Cut to a meeting in Whitehall where someone with hentai cat ears and a HRC discord mod give a presentation on why VFC is better than a TM.

  5. "High-end gas-powered airsoft rifles can be purchased for as little at £250 and upwards of £1,700 online in the UK."

For once, a press piece is actually (semi) accurate with some details.

But TBH, i would like to think airsofters over the age of 23 are switched on enough to know that these are toys, and military life is more than just shooting people. And the 95% of the rest wouldn't pass the fitness or aptitude tests.

First time I took one apart, I got the trigger sear and my screw driver stuck in the chassis. Simultaneously the sear spring launched to the other side of the room and got tangled in my dogs fur…

Yeah, i'm not one for fiddly stuff where you need 4 pairs of hands in different sizes.

Rails and drop ins are fine, but something like a trigger box is just not worth the agro for me. Even my ngrs's go to a tech just for the ease of not having to dick around with it.

I've already  lost half of those bits on the floor just by looking at them.

TM are teasing us - since Jan they've done runs 17.3, 26, 26A and 22.

I wonder if they could do a new 22.5. I'm sure they've already thought of that if the legal stuff is hampering 17.5

  8. I have fitted a small nunchuck lipo on tamiya in a midwest grip(think it was vapex). It's super tight but doable - you have to run the wires on top of the barrel, and the battery at 4 and 8 o'clock.

I might change them to the new plug to make more space, but that limits the battery compatibility between other mp5's, and also if i do it wrong and blow the fet, it be proper buggered.

That said, i later moved the midwest grip to an A4 and went magpul on the A5.

  9. It used to be my homepage, especially in the golden age of chinese clones - the news page was always ticking over when companies release press info and promo shots. Now in the age of social media and pushed content, manufacturers can just skip the middle man and show everything direct to consumers.

Gonna miss it, despite not being there for years. It's like your primary school being torn down. Makes no difference in your day to day, but you still want it there.
