Looking at that vorpal bunny, looks like it has a defect. Probably ruins the whole gun. You can send it to me, I’ll dispose of it, free of charge…Was it bought in the UK or overseas? Extremely jealous 😂
Managed to find one on discord - about 2 weeks after i missed one on discord as well.
I've given up on ever finding a p90 though - they're going for about £600 2nd hand in Japan if you can find one. If they did a re-run or a mark 2, they would sell out instantly i reckon.

Refresh my memory - is the 200rnd hard case "mag" actually just a giant green gas source that you fill normally?

I was at both days, one as a seller and one seller/player.
Not really much to add from Galvatron's post - some decent kit for sale - about 20 or so car booters, and about a dozen shops with sales or deals on.
It's not as big as the midlands carboot (which is not in the midlands anymore) but some decent deals going if you're just looking for something to take your fancy. However, it was noticeably bigger than 2022, and the carboot was located in a much better place so more people could view the stalls.
As fr the airsoft side of things, pretty much a normal day but with more vehicles. I've played that site quite a few times so might just be a bit bored of it so maybe a break is needed.

CRW (thats a name some haven't heard in a while) are doing10% over a £200 spend. They are now also UK based

I seriously hope that's a NGRS one. Mind you even if it is 10% off RRP is still pushing into Mack's territory
*Edit* It is the NGRS version
That would be ok in my books… if a massive TM shipment from Japan didn’t just land at pretty much every retailer in the UK. Which it did.

Can't remember who used to make the m40a3 gas version (pretty sure there was one though), but the m700 based one is expensive, since you have to get the m700 then also get the conversion kit, but once it's together you get the m700 system behind it and the Action Army m700 hop unit is probably the best hop unit I've ever worked with.
Yep, I've got the KJW m700 and the modelworks m40 kit.
The only other gas m40 i know of is the VFC but that's an a5 barrel. But there might be some like 1990's build that there's only 9 of in existence.

because who runs an m40a3 these days, let alone a gas one
I've had one in my cupboard for about 8 years now. Haven't run it in about 7.5 years as the aftermarket hop nub (spartan doctrine IIRC) isn't square. Might actually get round to getting the AAC version and using it

£2000 and it doesn't even come with a mag!
Maybe he needs the £2k for laser eye surgery. I mean, looking at that thing, it seems to add up.

I have seen mixed reviews on the lambda mk48 they released, but there are so few gpmgs available I guess having another option can only be a good thing!
I really wanted a LD mk48 - i like LMGs and the such, but after reading reviews on it, it seem very much like an early gen VFC aeg. Gorgeous externals, well built and put together, but the insides made of aldi own brand soft cheese.
I know DCA are taking over that bit for the new model, so fingers crossed. I would love a modern m240

Absolutely the circumstances were atrocious -- but in a time where replicas can be identical to "real steel" variants without the lethality, and convincing effects for muzzle flash / projectile travel can be created without the risk to anyone else, why wouldn't you agree with it?
Sure, catching some airsoft replicas might make you feel like there's a little less realism for a moment, but there are plenty "dummy" guns that did the job long before airsoft came along... Replicas and props aren'y anything new by a long shot, so what exactly are you against / in disagreement / uncertainty about? 🤨For most films, it's passable. For films like John Wick, it wouldn't work - but films like that have more stringent H&S checks in place due to the nature of the choreography.
And as i work in CGI/VFX, spotting fake or poorly done muzzle flash, shell ejection and the like can ruin a film. Like those Sky made action films - they look dreadful (among many other bad things about them).
Edit: Also, after spending time on set with replica and prop firearms - the armorers i've worked with would blow a bollock if they were on that Rust set. It's annoying that 2 people not following the rules cast shade on the whole profession. Imagine if they banned train drivers after a rail accident - hyperbole, yes, but a whole industry and profession shouldn't have to change because 2 people didn't follow standard, strict rules.
2nd edit: Also the knock on effect - VFX ain't cheap. So the budget comes from somewhere. The studio pockets (lol), or the VFX budget. Which means corners get cut, artists get squeezed and underpaid, or it gets outsourced to India. They always saying "fix it in post" when people in post always say "Get it in camera".

After the Baldwin on set accident,I've read that some studios are going to replica's and prop guns to avoid anything else happening. So expect to see a lot more CGI muzzle flash and case ejection, as well as hicaps and feed lips.
Not sure i agree with it, as the Baldwin shooting was breaking many many rules and should've been avoided

They are already out. Mostly using T8 parts for the noveski . Similar price to a basic TM MWS but with the nice N4 reciever etc. The double eagle MWS clone is actually nicer and cheaper by quite some margin
From what i understand, the CYMA/EMG one doesn't like MWS parts so might as well be propriety.
The DE is meant to be ok, but some Gen 1 issues, like the bolt doesn't fully close. But probably good enough that you could put mws internals and use mws mags at a later date. -
I've had the misfortune of talking to a couple of Americans on Reddit about this. There seems to be a theme running through their thought process of only dealing in absolutes.
When the VCRA kicked it, we formed bodies, lobbied for compromise and tried to ring fence the sport (could strongly argue for the good).
The Americans are very much in the stance of the bill must be stopped at all costs, and not even willing to compromise on some sort of USARA or have a body formed to be that focal point between the law makers and retailers/importers/players.
Which is a tad ironic considering how much power the NRA holds over there, and their lobbying has made buying a gun in some places so simplistic.

(i.e. more towards the trainer end of the spectrum),
Thats just reminded me - Vans now do outdoor boot/trainer things. I got a pair of MTE 2 hi tops for japan, and they were great. Did about 15 miles a day on average and they were great. Would've been ruined in normal trainers.
Something like these could be a good airsoft boot

I recommend Oakley boots if you can find them.
I got a pair of gucci ones for my 18th birthday. I'm 37 in 6 months and apart from the toe cap needing some polish, they really are as good as new

They most likely add it because it sounds like it should be a good idea, which doesnt neccessarily mean it is.
Speaking from experience of using dry propane, I very rarely get a leak, my MWS mags for example have never leaked in the past 3 years that I have owned them.
Occassionally when a mag develops a leak which is a very rare occurance, I strip the mag down, apply a small amount of silicone grease tp the seals, heat them lightly with a heat gun and reassemble the mag.
I would not advocate the use of maintenance gas inbetween games, its a total waste of money and you are more likely to do damage venting the gas each time you change over. (Freezing rubber is never a good idea)
As for the adaptor, always go with a genuine madbull one, they are available on ebay and work flawlessly. The cheap clones are pretty hit and miss.
I've been trying to use the madbull adapter and propane and it just wont fill.
Various Airsoft gas - fills
Yellow bottle Mapp - fills
Blue propane - jizzes everywhere

So after completely forgetting about this pistol for about 10 years after longing for it for ages: I was Googling WA SVI’s, trying to find a price for mine to sell at an airsoft boot sale last weekend, and went down a small rabbit hole of other WA pistols - setting off multiple old memories of pre VCRA days.
Then at said boot sale, a van pulls up directly opposite me and what do you think they have…
WA Colt Delta Elite.
I think it was a sign that I had to buy it.
