  1. Well, I'd take the gearbox shell* for half that (with locking components/fire selector/trigger and certain other gearbox components as required: see vid), perhaps it's still got value as parts. *assuming it'd fit my CM18 EDIT: this is an example, not an offer, do contact me if you're open to it, but i'd need to verify compatibility before going further. I'm confident the whole package is worth more than £60 in bits though. Not sure if Monkeynuts is speaking of the whole package or just the gun.
  2. Sadly the designed effectiveness of military camouflage is often* not gained at airsoft engagement distances, it is my understand that it is more important to block features of your human profile that the brain can identify subconsciously. That said, we each play airsoft "our way", and what anyone chooses to wear is completely irrelevant. I chose to wear camo because I found that the imitation military clothing manufactures made camo with more availability than solid colours - black, green, tan, grey etc. Thus, I bought imitation camo because it was cheaper than solid colours - at least in clothing designed for use with military firearms. I chose AOR2 because it was not a UK pattern and it was not specific to a single unit/division of any armed service - unlike AOR1 oddly. I also like the way that it looks. Imo if you are wearing at least three environment appropriate colours (not black) from the typical ranges you don't even need camo. *If certain sites are to be believed if you wear it correctly, it can work at airsoft engagement distances.
  3. There's the MP5 electric 500rd Mp5 Hi-cap I linked above, a 1000 rounds in a day is more than enough for anyone. I recently got the CYMA MP5K - it weighs more than my all plastic M4, there's a lot of metal on it. There are lots of plastic MP5s out there, but CYMA mp5k is not one of them, that said, going on the comments above, I suspect the regular tapered front mp5 to be most desirable with the telescoping stock.
  4. I just bought a bunch of WE G17/18 mags for my TM G17, will confirm.
  5. I think it was intended to be "where (which is currently abandoned/disused) would you play airsoft if you could?"
  6. That your googlefu is weak? Still, it sold for only £250k, the price of a house in England. Though, I guess it's quite remote to be a profitable airsoft venue at that price.
  7. Is this set to be a full replacement to the firebase?
  8. Should ACM (generic) be a branding option?
  9. MY first hicap - for MP5K for CQB. Mp5K Battery, 150BB speed loader. 500rd Electric hi-cap for Mp5k, Mp5k double Magazine Clip, 4 WE G17 Glock magazines. Would have got a WE G18, but TWG don't have it in green.
  10. Why are you calling C mags something else today? http://www.taiwangun.com/fr/chargeur-electrique-box/elektryczny-podwojny-magazynek-na-500-kulek-do-mp5-black-battleaxe Significantly cheaper option.
  11. Unless it turns out that footage from a closer gopro - but released later exonerates the adult and shows the kid started it.
  12. It's sadly not that simple. Minimum three games, the last game must be at least 56-60 days apart from the first game and all ideally at the same site. (56 allows for all three games to be on the same weekday while not forcing you to actually wait 60 days (which would actually be 63)
  13. http://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/kingrin-desert-locusts-goggles-steel-mesh-model-od Still recommending these too? I was planning to buy some for CQB.
  14. Ah, too bad my pc is from 2008, I enjoyed coop ARMA2. Had to turn down GTAV, FO4 and JC3 already this year.
  15. Well it's good at this point that you have decided you want an M4 - will make your gun selection a lot easier. Differently people have different opinions. But almost every manufacturer makes M4s and each has a reputation for internal/external quality between their different ranges, and those reputations are quite consistent thankfully. If you're buying a gun under £250, and its a plastic/polymer reproduction of a real gun which is typically of metal design, try to get an opportunity to hold one before you part with your money, I don't regret buying a G&G and i am not disappointed, but i cannot deny that I was a little surprised by some things in this respect. An easy way to restrict your buying choices is to ask yourself what weight of gun you're looking for.
  16. I figured from the way you phrased it that you were probably 17, but if not I someone would have asked. If you have met the requirements you should be able to get ukara on your birthday - the requirements to have it: to buy a gun, is to be an adult - but nowhere does it say you can't qualify for it sooner. Airsoft guns are generally comparable by their internal and external quality. The parts that matter, the barrel/hop assembly and the gearbox+motor are generally of similar design specification in all guns and more importantly can be replaced, while in many cases a more expensive gun will have better internals, the price you will pay will in a large part be for externals you don't 'need' - not unlike cars. I'm not saying buy cheap and upgrade, just buy informed, don't throw £400 at a gun and be surprised that someone else has equal performance from a gun (albeit not necessarily a stock one) half the value. That said, some manufacturers of unmodified stock (out of the box) guns are of a quality significantly above others. You can get a perfectly adequate setup for £130-£180.

  18. Welcome to the forum. Where are you? No one can recommend sites without that basic info. You probably know this, but just in case you don't, Ukara is for adults only. Do JBB sell imitation firearms to non-adults?
  19. As far as I know, I have done nothing offensive. Sadly, even faced with the comment I have quoted, I cannot think of a single offensive thing I have done. You suggested I might have a reason not to trust you, but I am quite straightforward and brutally honest, if I did not trust you, I would tell you that. EDIT: I doubt it. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0079JZ4O2?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00
