I've took it apart and removed some of the foam and adjusted the exfog pipes. I was sat in the middle of the lounge floor away from all the furniture and I've still managed to lose a screw... Wot the fuk... I've even stripped off and searched under the sofas. Even got my son to look. 😆

On the topic of ‘glorification’, we play a game, for many that includes dressing up. The underlying motivation of the majority will be unknown, in some cases it can be a little clearer. There is a degree of time healing, such as in the re-enactment world knights, Cavaliers, Roundheads etc are far away from memory, WW1 is pretty much out of direct memory but there can be ‘family memory’, WW2 can get close to the bone when someone appears far too interested in Hugo Boss Rhodesia etc is nearer in memory than the American Civil war, but they have parallels (and in parts of the US in recent years their may be civil war re-emergence as a closely hinting message) Overall I could not give a toss about someone’s political motivations (it may not endear me to them) Generally I like the underdog, so that often directs me towards the baddies for at least the latter half of the last century and this century so far. I am a major fan of wooden accessories, sadly my SLR is in black, but my AKs are wooden. They have all given me great pleasure, but I will not take out my AKs again for personal reasons which I will touch on below. Looks like TM are introducing a new AEG format. Split gearbox, real-size pistol grips, new fire control PCB, mechanical selector, new magazines. It's looking pretty nifty!

At one site where I used to marshal, a chap who became somewhat notorious in parts of the airsoft community started attending in full Waffen SS combat gear with the eagle and swastika badge and lightning rune collar tabs, accompanied by his young half-Japanese son in full HJ gear with a swastika armband. We persuaded the site owner to make them cover up or remove the Nazi emblems. After his first appearance, a bit of research revealed that he wasn't just playing at being a Nazi. He finally got the message that he wasn't wanted and never came back. As this was many years ago now, I am content to say that his lunch always had added ingredients.

Thanks, yep I tried that today, and have the scars and bruises to show for it. We play in forest and scrub land and I kept getting minor cuts and scrapes from branches and of course the head shots 😆. I also stripped off most of my layers. I wasn't hugely active and running about either. I'm 50 and my back was sore. It was a particularly humid day though. As had rained and them sun came out. No worries. My go to brand of anti fog is called cat crap. It comes as a paste in a red tub. Simply rub it onto the lens, buff it a bit then wipe off with a cloth. It should cost ten to fifteen quid for a small tub but I find it lasts ages as you only need a little at a time

Maybe so, but the NVA never went to war with anyone thankfully. I shy away from all WW2 German kit and equally stopped wearing Russian camo as well, which is a shame as I like it I do say the same about WW2 German, people that go to those events seem to have a bit of a hard on for SS kit.

I was on the fence for a while but in the end thought fuck it, every airsoft collection needs some colour in it. I’ve seen a Tiger stripe one already as it happens and it looked great. Once mine gets a bit beaten up from use I plan to do the same.

Tbh that's a sensible offer. The broken body is a known weak spot on them and the busted fire selector means it'll need more work.

Thinking outside the box moment but... try playing without wearing any hats/ helmets/ bandana's/ wigs/ knotted hankies etc, see if it helps.

Possibly a silly question but did you still use the anti fog on your glasses when using the mesh mask? Also what anti fog spray are you using? I've found some work far better than others. I'm not familiar with that particular mask so I can't 100% say it's safe but any foam you do remove will help airflow. Just make sure any holes left behind won't let a bb through

South African Assault Vest

Got an upgraded TM M40A5 to fill the hole selling my VFC left. While it's a nice gun, the short pull and hop adjustment are nice and it shoots great but it doesn't quite fill the hole sadly. Plus mags are usually on back order so having just one mag is a ball ache as half the mag fills the feed tube. I've put a wanted ad up if anyone wants to sell their VFC🙏 (will love you long time)

I wouldn't call it a DAS equivalent, there's no proper/full size faux bolt carrier and the gearbox here isn't a million miles away from what exists now. Moving bit is more like the NGRS moving side plate, though it looks a fair bit more realistic in shape now. Mag design is very cool for these and definitely enables a lot more realism in an electric platform in various ways. Should even feel like inserting a real mag with that last little bit of spring compression when you seat it (at least seems that way when he shows off how the mag is built). Unless there's some wizardy in the battery I'm not sure how it'd be proprietary. I've changed my 3-wire MP5 over to 2 wires with deans and that works on my normal lipos.

Cheers, good suggestions. Warrior 901 with the back panel add on looks like all the capacity of a plate carrier without the bulk so that has gone to the top of my list. No stock of Ranger green so I might end up with boring multicam though.

Warrior used to do a molle back panel that worked with their line of chest rigs at the time, not sure if still available now ? (If they are, ive got an awesome dar rig in OD that would suit ?) Alternatively, look for a chest rig, such as a bullet mle or similar that has the small molle panel on the yoke approximately between the shoulder blades, you could then fit a full length bladder pouch that has molle on the exterior, gives you a large pouch for a bottle & ample molle for some extra pouches ?

Seems like the next release after the East German AK, will be the PKM. Imagine the price and weight will be significant. They might show off some of their other upcoming releases at this month's MOA show. The PKM will be there.

Public order act prohibits "paramilitary uniforms" being worn in public settings. Granted, this refers to more political aligned uniforms, But I wouldn't risk it. So is it legal? Technically, but probably not. The Police will treat all calls about firearms, gunmen, explosives, etc. as if they are real until they can discern otherwise. This can put you in a potentially dangerous encounter. Furthermore, your appearance in military fatigues with fake grenades and magazines can cause someone harassment, alarm or distress. Its not worth the hassle.
