He is exactly the kind of player you hope never turns up at your site ngl. Just kinda starting drama, being aggro, and there's a lot of chat about how he cheats a lot.7 points -
It amuses me watching the Labour party squirm every time someone asks them how IDs will stop small boats crossing the channel and people working illegally in the "shadow economy". Because as we all know, for illegal cash in hand jobs, employers are making sure they're following the law and asking their employees for ID 🤣 I signed it when it was still 100k. As soon as I saw this I searched and signed this petition because this is horrendous government overreach and will definitely be used as a springboard for more tyrannical practices in the future. My guess is central bank digital currencies will be next.6 points

I don't really care about having a digital ID card. The government have all of this information about me on my driving licence, passport, NI number, NHS number, tax returns etc etc. My only real issue(s) are it will cost a medium sized fortune, not 'stop the boats' and the government (every government) can't organise a p**sup in a brewery. For example we have a NHS app, I also have an app for my GP and an app for our local hospital. Why not one app? Why don't they talk to each other? If you apply for and get legitimate job for a legit company you have to supply your employer with passport, driving licence and NI number to prove you are who you say you are and have the right to work. If you work in the grey / dodgy part of the economy they won't ask for the ID above so won't ask for a digital ID. Spend the money from this project on Home Office staff to audit businesses and fine the life out of them if they have illegal workers. You never know this might pay for itself or raise some cash for our broken economy when everyone who should be paying tax does. On second thoughts if we do go digital ID and digital cash how do you pay the illegal workers? Food and accommodation? Sorry for the political post on an airsoft website.5 points

Tony Blair's son allegedly has a company that will get the billion pounds contract for this too, but I haven't looked into it yet. I foresee it being used for control in the future. Tied to carbon credits and central bank digital currencies and the like too mate. It's also likely distraction for Kiers unpopularity and scandals.4 points

Signed. Dodgy companies who employ migrants who have no right to work in the Uk at the moment wont care a dam if the person has digital I.D or not, its cheap labour for them as they pay them less, cash in hand. Don’t this stupid goverment realise that criminals don’t care about rules and regulations.3 points

Adequate morning at Driver Wood Saturday, running the Lee Enfield (1.05j, so no MED), and G36c. I was meant to be rolling out the newly acquired KC02, bought off the classifieds, but my air tank sprung a leak from the tank regulator (pretty sure it's just an o-ring, but I haven't been able to get the regulator off, despite trying all sorts). Game 1 was a bit rubbish- due to the site owner having devoted significant time to building a load of new structures in the 'Village' (and they are great), we were all herded there for an attack/defend waypoint game, despite the player numbers really being far too high for such an enclosed area with oodles of cover. Cue the 50 or so people on my team spending a rather tedious 30 minutes in the same 20m2 area of the field until the defenders used up their lives, and then another 30 minutes (equally tedious) on the second waypoint field, doing the same thing - no more than 30m max from the team spawn. For the first time ever I contemplated joining the increasing group of bored players who had given up and were having a chat sat at spawn... Second game was excellent, and what the first should have been given the player numbers- using the main area of the site with plenty of opportunities to apply cunning to get the drop on the opposing team.2 points -
I think it's just a headline grabbing knee jerk reaction, a recycled shit idea intended to go some way to placate the masses who marched on London recently, & those who are veering further to the right with their future votes. I agree, there's already a shitload of info held on us, so why do they need more ?, it won't stop those who already "employ" non documented labour.2 points

Note: I have had an association with Enola Gaye for many years, and they have sponsored our events, so I do have a bias towards them which is based on both their quality and their ethos They conduct a lot of product development, Dr John of Enola participated in the drafting of many of the EU standards, and we’ve seen / taken part in his batch testing (One of our guys was also blown up on camera by a different brand without the same level of QC on the production lines - no serious outcome thanks to his glove and eye protection) I’ve never used their ‘new’ ball grenade of that type, and had used the early types of pineapple BB grenades - they weren’t anything special, but ball grenades perform a function (that I’m not interested in - I prefer a flashbang with suitable rules such as CQB room kills, though as @mrtea notes - ball grenades are rollable (the early models I used back in deepest darkest history were not rollable) My real love is smoke. It’s pretty as well as effective (when used properly - which can get expensive) You would like the CM75/SD75 - everyone would, but they are not for the general public and are not suitable for normal people’s wallets The WD40s and the EG18/EG18X give the right level of smoke for normal people. Their baby brother the EG25 gives just enough in a small package, not really for cover in a game but a nice amount of smoke in a tighter area that won’t disperse too much or as a small signal colour Bangs do some very clever stuff in the range, without needing to go to silly amounts of bang just for volume. The mk5 as standard and some clever timing / packaging can make them perform very differently The main problem with pyro is the size of the wallet governing how much you can have2 points

Well I had a bit of a shit day all in all, but one of the few decent bits was getting to test the new hop in the AK. It works, but perhaps *too* well if anything! I had to have it set to Minimum hop, with a 4uantum and using 0.32s to not get significant over-hop. Otherwise it seemed absolutely fine however, and worth the fairly low price.2 points

It is very British that we have so little trust in our government doing a good job, that we prefer hobbling it to any kind of rationalisation of how it works.2 points -

I'm quite a fan of airsoft Alfonse. When you say tactics, do you mean squad level or an individual level? While I'm not a fanboi, the gbrs YouTube has some bits of interest, dirty civilian and garand thumb also have some nuggets in there. A lot of it is real tactics and they arent always relatable or that transferable, but they can give a chain of thought1 point -

Bloke goes into a pub with a pie on his head. One day it was alledgedly being awarded to Plantair, the next day Euan Blair Bearing in mind that Euans company Multiverse is a training company, and that all these so called contract awards are straight after the intent being announced the supposed reports could be a load of bollocks, and in this case just a convenient nepotism outrage headline based on being the son of the last Labour PM to propose an ID scheme1 point

Took my son and 3 of his mates to outpost Chester again today, and I finally realised how rubbish I am... At 50, jumping and crawling around in the dirt always leaves me sore for days, but it's worth it. I might have a ton of Airsoft guns now, (most thru the classifiied section, cheers guys) but I really need to concentrate on my skills. All the gear, no idea... 😆 Kept getting sniped from people who I couldn't even see. Got shot several times in the back of the head after declaring a hit and with my hand in the air. It was busy tho, and the two teams were massive. Everyone was very friendly and happy to offer advice and show me their toys. I did manage a few kills, most of them were on the opposite team. but I did accidentally shoot my son a couple of times, but maybe he deserved it.. The new proflex mask and the exfog unit are working well, definitely worth the investment. All my rifs performed well, but the AK definitely needs a bit more oomph, I will look into adding a fuse and a bigger voltage battery as it's rate of fire is significantly less than my other RIFs. We have tried a few of the disposable grenades now, the ball ones with bbs inside arent great as most were still inside the split body on the ground. The smoke ones are fun, and I like the thunder flashes a lot. It was great fun, and we all enjoyed it. Can't wait to go back again.1 point

I'll be honest. From what I understand you can change a LOT of parts of Raven or Vorsk 1911's and still not have a decently working 19111 point

T238 Nano Traser
Rickwales reacted to Cannonfodder for a topic
The Nano tracer, as the name suggests, is the smallest traser unit made by T238 measuring 23mm by 53mm, making it roughly the size of a C cell battery and perfect for pistols and SMGs. Retailing at £30 I wanted to see if it's as good a bargain as it seems. It comes boxed with a very short charging cable and an adapter to fit 11mm pistol muzzle which brings us to me making a boo boo. The traser unit has reverse threads and after checking the fit of the adapter I accidentally tried to remove it turning it the wrong way with a pair of pliers for extra grip. I didn't put much pressure on it and the whole 11mm threads snapped off. This is 100% my fault but does make me question the quality of the metal used for it to break so easily. Fortunately I was able to get the thing off and fitted it to my MP5K. It has shake to wake with a cut off after 20 minutes of not moving. Oh and it also works with red traser bbs. In both testing and use in game yesterday in worked flawlessly with every bb being lit up brightly making it easy to adjust for any second shots Now the negatives. First there's the question of the strength of the adapter mentioned earlier. Next is the front and back end caps are both made of a frosted colourless plastic so every time the traser goes off the whole area around you is bathed in a blue light. I ended up covering them with gorilla tape to block it out but in the future I might take it apart and paint those bits. The last minus point is another small one. There's no master on/off switch so while travelling to and from site every time the traser unit moves it's switching itself on. Not a big problem but something to bear in mind. All in all I'd say it's a good piece of kit and at half the price of a Brighter C traser an option for those on a tighter budget 7/10 for now. If it does decide to play up I'll post it here1 point
