  2. You could argue the toss back and forth, however as Patrol Base finally have these back in stock... https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/emg-230rnd-daniel-defense-mid-cap-magazine-for-m4-ar-15-6-pack ... I'd just buy a pack and that's you and your wife sorted for a very good price👍

This is an incredible labour of love if I'm honest. An LCT G3 upgraded with a basic acetech mosfet (deans connector) and with numerous real steel parts that include: the handguard and stock (stock buttplate has been modified to fit), the rear drum sight, sling and 3 double german G3 mag pouches with 6 mid caps. An incredible piece which I am reluctant to let go of. Also includes a spare tappet plate. Happy to ship for a fee

  7. Call me a cynic but I don't think trustworthiness is the issue. If you spend 8 weeks and 3 games to get a UKARA defence and be a dick in public with a RIF, you've given the police and CPS plenty of evidence of aforethought to the crime.

  8. To play devil's advocate, what's to prevent you from condemning yourself to the same or even a worse fate when, using your own words, you've abused your gun? Prior to the problems you're experiencing, did you rule out your ammo being the issue and not the inner barrel? As Rogerborg said, you should aim to run the heaviest BBs your hop can lift. A heavier BB should be more accurate at distance on the same gun because it has more mass to be less affected by crosswinds. When I play outdoors, to paraphrase Linda Evangelista, my primary won't get out of its case for less than 0.28g. For skirmishing, I wouldn't personally recommend 0.2g on a primary.

Double check the barrel nut is properly secured, I recently got a used HK416D & the ony wobbles were caused by the barrel nut not being fitted correctly, once that was sorted it was perfect.

  10. Have spent £££’s with BoomArms , never an issue so I’d say just chalk it up as blip , annoying yes , but I’d perhaps of give them a little more time given their excellent track record with my own personal orders . also , I never order anything from HK I need urgently ( which is nothing because it’s just airsoft stuff ) and never expect an Amazon prime service 👍🏼 .

  11. Hmm. Did you resolve the hop issues with your TM? I'm asking to try and determine whether (and how much) you really want to be tinkering. Most modern M4s are pretty decent, and rotary hops and well-featured fire control systems are becoming common. The only "upgrades" I'd suggest are a Maple Leaf hop rubber and nub, clean the barrel, and run the heaviest BBs that your budget and hop unit can stand - not 0.2g! Are there any must-haves for you that would help to narrow it down? Metal receiver, fire control system, rotary hop, quick-change spring? Are you sure you want to give up the NGRS blowback?

Has reasonably light signs of wear, the body could pass as new but suppressor has a scrape. i used it once on field, indoors.

Been following this for a while. I yearn for a shell ejecting m249 or m240. I don't even care if the bb's are in the shells, they can be in a top magazine like the VFC M249, or there was another one I saw on youtube one which had an internal magazine/hopper in the receiver. The shells and links would need to be biodegradable & disposable to make it or any shell ejecting RIF viable though... I'm not picking them up! That said, if one was going to all that effort you'd be aswell inventing a new hobby with caps or something in the shells for feedback and just having lasers on the end of the RIF to do something like the MILES or TES systems.😅

  14. I enjoy reloading, as weird as that may sound. With my AEG I run 7 90 rnd midcaps and that usually lasts me a whole day. It really depends on your play style. Even when I got my nephew into Airsoft I gave him midcaps locked to a realistic 30 shots to ensure he didn't get used to playing at a distance and spraying and encouraging him to get closer and make his shots count.

That isn't normal; BBs should not be able to roll out of the barrel as the pressure from the hop rubber should hold them in place. How long have you had the gun? Have you adjusted the hop to give good flight?

hop might be set to zero so there's nothing putting pressure on the bbs to keep them in the barrel

  18. Update: I managed to find this: G&P Marui MWS M4 Gas BlowBack Buffer Tube (Long) from Firesupport and after filing the 'heights' of the threads down a bit it went in ok apart from sticking out too far into the receiver. All fixed now and works great. Now to just make it shoot slower so I can go to my local walk-on...
