1st GBBR, no idea what im doing with it, it makes a LOT of noise, bits move about and it shakes violently in my hands. But - OMG! is it satisfying to shoot! I shall now go and sit in the naughty corner as i'm running it Hpa - cant be doing with 30rnd mags

Yeah, it’s good at Fireball. They have been going as a members based club for donkeys years, with a game the first Saturday of every month. I’ve been a few times over the last 20 years or so, and had fun. I was last there a couple of weeks ago, and the hit taking seemed exceptionally good to me. Give it a try, they are a friendly bunch.

Got mine, in good nick, lens needs a clean but nothing a bit of break free won't shift. Bargain of the year so far.

At the lhe last couple of CQB games I found that my plate carrier was getting in the way when drawing my pistol from the hip so I picked up a drop leg platform. It arrived today and from just setting it up and getting the fit right I'm impressed. Unlike other drop leg holsters I've had in the past this one doesn't flap around when moving but the real test will come on my next gameday

Picked up an Eo-tech for my AR57.

I posted my AR57 in another thread & mentioned sights for it, I rewatched ForgottenWeapons video about the AR57 & saw that it needed an Eo-tech to be correct. This might not be 'correct' for rivit counters but it's close enough for me & this one popped up in the classifieds at the same time. Thanks to TooTall86 for this rds.

Yes, definitely. I've always found the Marshals friendly and fair, and as a group we enjoy the different types of games they run there. Pragmatically - you could probably apply the approach to anywhere: it comes down to personal preference and experience on the day. I went to the RIFT Battery at the beginning of 2024, really well run and good fun - but I'm not the biggest fan of CQB so wouldn't go back. It's funny you should mention AWA, I haven't played there in about 12-13 years and although I'm sure its improved, those few bad experiences from many years ago mean I probably won't go back. So overall I'm not saying that deciding whether to go or not based upon other players reviews of sites is a waste of time, in fact some reviews are really handy (Asomodai review series) - but sometimes its probably worth going and having a look for yourself.

Have you considered the Nuprol Premium Rifle (Medium) Hard Case? https://nuprol.com/np-medium-hard-case-wave-green.html I use one for my P90 regularly with room for batteries and mags. Eventually I'm going to invest in ShadowFoam inserts.

@Jacob Wrightthanks mate, kind of you to say. I'm a massive fan of the site in general, it has provided some of the best and worst Airsoft I've ever done, but on balance it's much more likely to be decent to good. Their Halloween night game was something else! But I've been to sites where it's been awful and never had the prospect or potential to be semi decent (awa Herts, I'm looking at you!). Some sites just aren't for you, I recently did Blackstone cqb and I can't fault the site (in fact, from a business/service they excelled) but it just isn't for me. I suspect some rotten luck and the wrong games types are the cause here.

Very cold but enjoyable game. My sons first experience! He loved it even though he got very cold and wet.

Full steel Loki Tactical cerakoted in Armourer black by West Laser! the slide was lost in the post by RM… however Joe managed to get the whole job turned around and to my door in 48 hours after they found the package and delivered to him. its quite snappy for such a heavy (G34 length) slide and comp.

IPSC game today. Cracked out the Glock for its first outing (had it since 2021 or so) and it broke almost immediately, hammer is not resetting properly anymore and I need to take it apart. AAP on hpa is cracked, EPM-1S mags feed great in the monk adapter, definitely put a grin on my face. Gucci DSG M4 needs shimming revisited, sounds a touch scratchy but nothing major. I thought I could get away with iron sights but I was wrong, still need a red dot on it. As for the game, it was a IPSC style training day with a small course built in the woods, targets are A4 sized steel plates put at various distances and the vegetation allowed for tricky shots and weird firing stances. I recommend it to everyone, especially those who always complain about hit calling at range, you'll be surprised by how many people just can't shoot for shit, even with highly tuned guns.
