  1. This will be a bit of an ongoing project. Picked up a slightly tired TM CQBR recoil. The internals are solid and the recoil is nice and crisp. BUT the externals are a little worn. Bit for it so far are just out of my kit bag and left over form my old VFC SR-16. EOTech 552 KAC fore grip Weapon light in Element mount it came with: Genuine Magpul MBUS rear sight Clone ARMS folding front sight and a mega rare Eagle 6 7.4 3200 lipo. Internals are going to be upgarded once funds permit.

  2. Eye-Pro Pro-Tip: If you have to ask if it's safe, the answer is no. If you're not one-hundred and ten percent positive that they're right for you, don't touch them with a s**tty stick. You only get one pair of peepers.

    New gun suggestions

If you want the best bullpup and you have that figure to spend then there is only one to go for, Real Sword type 97/97b, run on any stanag mag, 97b has slightly faster ROF courtesy of a higher speed motor than the 97, build quality is, without any question or argument the best out there, I got mine from airsoft world, sign up for the 'new shopper' thingy and you'll get an email about 10 minutes later with a discount code which brought mine under the figure you've got This is mine, have changed the flash hider for the little suppressor and it's got an e mag in for you to see, range is simply stupid, genuinely out ranges pretty much anything else (not like most people think they're rifle shoots 70m)

    Revolver recommendation

This: http://www.actionhobbies.co.uk/Dan-Wesson-CO2-Revolver-6-Inch-Silver_A10DGJ.aspx#.U2KFzYm9LTo With these: http://www.actionhobbies.co.uk/ASG-Dan-Wesson-Power-Down-Shells-6pcs-6mm-Low-Power_A17DGD.aspx#.U2KF4Im9LTo Should drop it to a skirmishable level. Other than that you are going to be hard pressed to find a lower powered metal revolver in the UK as they're not the most popular backup. If you're willing to make a sacrifice by having it plastic bodied you could go for this: http://www.airsoftworld.net/tokyo-marui-m19-6-inch-gas-airsoft-revolver-6-barrel-black.html I have one and it's a cracking weapon for CQB or as a backup, but it has an average fps of 240 on green gas though I would use a lower powered propellant for it as green is a bit too strong for prolonged use. Also available in chrome and shorter barrel lengths (2.5 / 4 / 6 inch). If you really want people to take notice, then get one of these: http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/Gas_Pistols_SMGs_Marushin_Marushin_X_Cartridge_8mm_Raging_Bull_8_375_Inch_HW_Black.htm If you find an in stock one in the uk let me know

  11. My radiers really didn't fog much at all tonight. Considering how cold it is in Epsom bunker and how hot and sweaty I was I was surprised to find they held up for an hour without any real issues with just some op drops and a clean between rounds. I was expecting a disaster but they are dramatically better down there than mesh googles (because its already insanely dark).

  12. I am told the G&G hop up unit itself is pretty decent. The issue with its hop up, like most, is that it uses a relatively stiff bucking and a standard nub. A softer bucking (45 degrees maybe a little more) and a H nub would potentially make the hop more consistent. The barrel on the other hand is pretty standard affair in the G&G CM16, so a tighter precision barrel can certainly improve range at the cost of some accuracy. Its not entirely clear that either mod will necessarily improve anything, you may make things worse or gain no measurable performance at all.

  13. The CQBR Is home. Is mental on the 7.4 3200 E6 lipo! Just need to figure out how to tighten the rail as it wobbles a tad. New paint job tomorrow! HAPPY BUNNY!! Not so happy with the near 4 hour rind trip to get it! Dam traffic and shirt old sat nav taking me through the country!

what load out am I? :)

And that is why I have just purchased a balaclava like the one you see on call of duty ghosts. It doesn't matter what other people think, just what you want or what works best for you - hence why I went for the balaclava since I think it will look boss with my CQB loadout despite the looks I KNOW I will get with it

  16. The WE Glock is too wide to fit genuine Serpas. I had to dremmel the inner edges of my Serpa down by about 3mm on each side and then submerge it in boiling water until it would flex a bit to take the shape of the Glock. The clones are easier to treat to fit by a long way and fine for airsoft so go with a clone if you can. The Glock 19 is essentially a 17 with a slightly lower profile frame, it's still considered a full size handgun, I would imagine it would fit (after modding the hostler anyway), but I'd email them to be sure. If you want a holster to fit a WE Glock 17 without modification then you have to buy a holster made for the real steel Glock 21, which is a .45 and the same size as the airsoft 9mm Glock 17. So you might be after the Glock 21 holster if you can confirm the 19 will fit 17 holsters. Hopefully that makes sense.
