There's one of those defogging things in the bundle, exfog it says on it. There's so much stuff it feels like Christmas. 

He has a full face mask, but can't wear it with the helmet. I wear glasses so I want it anyway. I'll look for some decent quality goggles before we go shooting next.

Cheers mate, been a great week. Brought 2 great rifs both off two great lads, both called Sam from here then this lovely bundle.  Heartbreaking parting with my airguns, but I think I got a bargain. 

Me and my son haven't stopped smiling all day. Hammering thru the BBs.

A specna stainless steel inner barrel (apparently the same as fitted to their 'prime' series).  Absolutely shocking - the crowning is so wildly uneven, all shots through it consistently veer wildly off to one side. I'm considering chopping it, and re-crowning - even a DIY job can't be as bad as the current factory finish. Avoid!

So after the disappointment of buying what I thought was a Cyma A4 and it being a WE AEG parts build I figured I'd just suck it up and buy one new

 

Bought the last one in stock from Super5ives, it arrived with only one screw for the heat sink in the pistol grip which was a bit annoying but an easy fix at least.

 

Now I know there's a reasonable priced PEQ replica the Peq-16 will be replaced ASAP 😂

Bit faff this one. 

Probably 15-20 years ago I had a warrior assault systems od 901 with built in mag pouches ( similar to the weesatch)and after I got rid of it I had a TAS 901 exactly the same in Cb .. 

Fast forward to the last month or so been looking for another set. Turns out the 901 does not have built in mag pouches 🤔 ( fecking did I had 2 and remembered it listed in shops ) 

 

Anyway seen this so called tas "vest" on ebay .. so made sure to grab it. Hidden in the small print in a bunch of text was " no belt or straps)..

🤬 it's literally just the front panel lol and to rub salt in all the bungees are perished.

I chopped a barrel down and re-crowned it late Saturday night ready for game day on Sunday and got an almost factory finish using a large centre drill bit to get the crown shape and a chamfer tool to smooth out the chatter marks. Easy as pie and took about 10 mins all in. Filing the notches larger to fit in the hop unit took considerably longer.

 

I'll snap a pic tomorrow of the crown and bits used. 

 

You'll need a proper chamfering bit for metal on a stainless barrel, I got away with a wood tool as it was a plated brass barrel.

Sounds encouraging! did you do this with a pillar drill or a hand held drill?

With my Sixmm order arriving, the m14 scope mount looks great; will put that away with the TNT hop unit for when I do the WE m14 project...

 

However, to nobody's surprise, they sent me the wrong bloody springs, so now I need to source some G&G m700 gas router springs for my 6 short magazines that I'm upgrading to (hopefully) be usable. The stock KJW m700 short magazines are awful out of the box, but with the upgraded gas router spring and the upgraded strikers and internals they're supposed to be really good. Got the internals sorted, now just need those springs!

Hand held cordless, I've snapped a pic of the bits I used too.

 

It's not perfect as the chamfer tool is too steep angled to perfectly smooth it all out but it's a bloody good job for 10 mins work and worked really well on the Sunday. With a 4uantum bucking and nub I was getting 60-70m range on .3
