Cannonfodder Posted July 20 Posted July 20 All the kids joining in the school holidays to ask dumb questions (where they'll probably ignore the answers if it's not what they want to be told) or try to sell their kit for stupidly high prices Galvatron, Tackle and John_W 3
Lyndication Posted July 22 Posted July 22 Saw a listing, contacted the seller, confirmed I wanted the gun. Got as far as sending my address, he said he'd get it packed, get a quote for shipping, get back to me. I leave it a couple days, don't wanna nag. Contact him. Oh it's sold. Someone else messaged after and offered more, so he went with them instead. Oh it's gone now. Oh okay. Oh nice. Thanks. Galvatron, ButcherBill, EDcase and 2 others 3 2

Last one that did that to me got bad feedback, not sure if the rules allow that but thought "f#ck it, people need to know what kinda person you are". If they can't be trusted in a sale, odds on they're cheating cnuts on the field too ? BigAl and EDcase 1 1
Galvatron Posted July 22 Posted July 22 Sellers who swap original furniture (stock, grip, handguard, etc) on their gun for third-party then list the gun for sale without the originals but charge based on depreciation of the complete original gun and the new furniture.

Same goes for people who list a gun and have it pictured with a load of accessories, only to bury "accessories not included" sonewhere in the description. ? If it's not included, don't list or show it. BigStew, tside, Enid_Puceflange and 3 others 6
GiantKiwi Posted July 22 Posted July 22 New joiners getting classifieds from google and messaging you to ask if its still available, when the big orange banner at the top of the page says "Completed, Sold". Multiple times this week on the same item which sold nearly a month ago. One last week about something that sold in 2020.. EvilMonkee and Tackle 1 1

It's not just the parts with diminishing returns higher than Danniella Westbrook on Colombian flake that put me off, there's also the hideous colours for the slide and/or grip that look like somebody committed an unholy act on a unicorn. Or they give it a theme and name it then paint the hardcase in the theme, have gaudy quotes all over it and an insane price tag. (Looking at you "joker" themed aap) Galvatron and Cannonfodder 2

ButcherBill Posted July 26 Posted July 26 I tend to prefer my pews to be 'milsim ish' and no HPA, but if this was only a couple of hundred £ I'd consider it for the novelty factor.

Lyndication Posted July 26 Posted July 26 The price is absolutely insane So, on brand for the Joker, I guess Galvatron 1
Cooperman26 Posted July 26 Posted July 26 I may have posted about the pricing of some adverts before for second hand good or unknown brands etc being wildly over priced. But my particular bug bare at the moment is the price of some Glocks which are second hand. Might as well just by a brand new one! Gah! Just my opinion!

He's asking £1100 for a gun he can't even be bothered to list the parts used to build it, that's enough of a red flag for anyone. It's not like it's made of thousands of parts, it's what 30-40 parts that have been upgraded? God forbid he spends an hour writing a proper listing for it. Galvatron 1

HZR13 Posted July 27 Posted July 27 What would be the best Glock to buy, I fancy Umarex Glock 17 Gen 4 Right or Wrong ?
Galvatron Posted July 27 Posted July 27 The ambiguous "all in" (or allin [sic]) wankery when listing items for sale. We're not playing a game of poker! "All in" has meant one of (but not limited to) several things Final price, inclusive of delivery and Paypal G&S fees. Final price with delivery but they try charging G&S fees Final price including G&S fees but no delivery Final price without G&S fees or delivery When it's a gun, the final price doesn't include the accessories, such as a scope or sling, the gun is pictured with Tackle, Lyndication and Colin Allen 3

Galvatron Posted August 4 Posted August 4 Non-airsoft playing cosplayers who visit a players' forum and want support to circumvent the laws and regulations around purchasing a RIF with no regard for the potential fall out that could happen and make things more difficult for actual players. The other thing that grinds my gears is the self-importance such people show when they say they don't care about people's opposition, nor do they appreciate you can't always get what you want in life. Even if your circumstances are difficult, there isn't always room for exceptions. John_W, Tackle, Colin Allen and 1 other 4

At least they aren’t the ones who come onto an airsoft forum following their arrest for a firearms offence looking for some form of validation of having over powered paintball like guns with inappropriate projectiles loaded ready to go in the bedside cabinet next to their baseball bat, machete and crack.
