  1. Why not use the material from an old camping roll mat ?? Cut out what size you need, contact adhesive to glue them together then shape them with sandpaper
  2. Cheers for the replies guys I might see if I buy an ICS gearbox, if that'll fit inside my m4 body
  3. No guys, it's on my other m4 & g36c I wondered what that little lever inside the magwell did
  4. Done that but the nozzle stays to the rear
  5. Apart from ICS that has the forward assist button to release spring tension On other makes that dont have this particular aid, is there a way to release the spring tension without taking out the gearbox & doing it that way ??
  6. Depends what chrono you use, 1 site I started at said my cm16 was hot but was brand new so I changed the spring for an m90 so went to another site & it was less than 300, all this was on .20
  7. I use a little 1300mah 7.4v Lipo on side in the dd rail on my l85 I bought 2 from my local radio control shop for.............£6.50 each Plus the dean's connector was already soldered on so saved me a job
  8. Ummmmm As a g36c owner, I use the m4 mag adapter with m4 mags & so far I've had no issues I use king arms mags in all my rifles just because when I use the G36, I don't have to have separate mags
  9. If your to short to reach the top shelf then get someone taller lol
  10. Granted all my rifles are the bog standard black (apart from my sa80) but to break them up a bit, I use dark earth rail ladders & put them on all unused rails, i've also put them on my g36c to cover unused rails as for me personsly, I don't like the rails unused but it also covers any light damage caused
  11. When it's hot, I wear ubacs shirt When it's cold, raining etc I wear my combat jacket so I stay fairly warm cause of my PC but I'm investing in a couple of ponchos to wear as it gives ME more freedom than wet weather trousers & jacket plus it covers everything & hold my rifle underneath if it gets to bad Played a game on the 23rd where it hammered down all day
  12. Cheers sp00n It's easy to understand for me as I've grown up around mechanics, electrics & electronics I'll stick with using mosfets
  13. There's an ICS video floating around on Facebook with a demonstration of putting a diode on a motor to increase "electric switch" life, however they don't tell you what diode rating it is (that's depending on if diodes come in different sizes) 1- what is the "electric switch" there reffering to ?? 2- what would be the benefit of installing the diode across both motor legs ?? If there is any benefits then I would do this mod but need to now a the few basics about it first. My dad has said that its basicly a 1 one way component & takes out the jumping of the brushes
  14. In my opinion, the JG g36c is a great rifle I would say it's on a par with G&G for reliability, rail space is very good as it can come with 4 rails, 3 short ones top & side plus a longer one on the bottom so adding accessories is easy to do It will also work for leftys & rightys as it has ambidextrous cocking handle & fire selector (on both sides) I did away with the fuse, changed to deans connector & wired in a mosfet, the only upgrade I've done is change the spring for being to hot but forgot to ask Taiwan gun to do it for me The battery lasts me all day as I use single fire 90% of the time
  15. I have 2 m4's (g&g + ics) & the ics one is now my main back up Where as, I use mainly my g36c which I love using I also have the JG g36c (as said above) but have now added a G&G SA80 (L85a2) It's a mine field of weapons out there so to echo what's been said above, go to a store, handle, fondle & salivate then decide from there Heck, even some softers will let you fondle there weapons if you ask nicely & talk to them
  16. The only good point I've heard & this is a direct quote "Consistent fps for any site, you'll never look back BUT it gets damn expensive"
  17. Exactly the reason for doing it that way I've ordered the bfa & it has the small screw in barrel extention instead of the big dial in end so that makes it easier The inner barrel extention will be drilled out to 7mm so it doesn't foul the bb when it exits
  18. How about a bucket Cut some holes for your eyes & done Depending on how big your head is does SOMETIMES limit the helmet you can use Go into a store & try on there range of helmets if there's one near to you
  19. You can get the conversion kit to turn an aeg into a Barrett but it's like over a grand for it But I agree that it does look nice
  20. Ahhh see, that's already thought of I've got a mate with a lathe who's going to knock up the barrel insert for me, he's going to make it out of alluminium so it's easy to machine the barrel section & cut a new thread
  21. I was thinking of putting the yellow paint on the mags aswell How many people has anyone seen who actually have a bfa & banana mags attached ?? Cheers for that beastmode but yeah your right lol
  22. I use king arms mags in my M4's, sa80 & G36 (with magwell adapter) I had miss feed issues in my ICS M4 so fitted a delayer chip on the sector gear (delayer chip in all my rifles) & now feeds properly again
  23. I don't wear glasses but from people I've seen with then who wear glasses mainly use lens goggles but a few have tried/used mesh
  24. It turned out to be the motor height adjustment screw (thanks sp00n you were spot on) The constant vibration worked it loose so a bit of tempory thread locker (blue is temp, red is permanent in my little twin pack) so I can still undo it if needs be I prefer the old look but after image research, not all British army persons had the DD rail attached, nor did they have mtp kit I bought if off my mate (started airsoft together) so I know what he's done including the flat hop mod so gets out to 70m as one guy mentioned when he got hit
