  1. Now that's some tough schitt Jeremy Kyle won't crack
  2. I've got an m4 from ics & love the quick change spring system in them My g&g m4 was my 'Go to rifle' but now it's my ics but it does need a new tappet plate as the nub on the sector gear has worn it a little but put a delayer chip on it for now It's still consistent 340fps at the moment even when I used it in the rain
  3. Waiting for confirmation aswell & so buzzing about it Even the cold camp out
  4. Very much appreciated guys with some good advice, I'm glad you mentioned about the water Turns out there's 4 of us going now
  5. My mate sent me your info file for rules etc & the bloke I spoke to earlier said to store rations etc at the FOB but glad we can put them in extra mags as I'd rather do that then leave them loose
  6. Thanks for your replyies guys, been chatting to a guy who's going & sounds like a typical exercise except with the night off One question that's arisen, can we leave extra ammo in spare mags or do they have to be loose
  7. Me & 2 mates are going to okto eights milsim in December This will be our 1st milsim & we have pretty much everything we need I'll be getting a baofeng UV-5R for the weekend. I know there's guys on here who've been to milsims so I'm asking for any tips, tricks, advice or what to expect from the days battles etc I'll be on the Moldistan Defence Force (MDF) side with one mate & the other will be on the Russian side
  8. I bought 3x 300mah 7.4v Lipo from hobbyking to do the conversion in my 18c Glock Turnigy nano-tech, 35-70c Measures 45mm long 17mm width 13mm depth
  9. No worrys buddy I did a comparison with a 7.4v Lipo to 8.4v & 9.6v nimhs in my rifles & what a difference but I only use lipos in my L85 I suggest you go to your local rc model shop & have a look at there Lipo & charger range
  10. I change my lipos over at lunchtime but of you use the plain green handguard then you could use upto a 3000mah Lipo & last all day with it
  11. I use small 1300mah, 7.4v lipos in my l85, I got them from my local rc shop, I can just put them in the normal handguard without removing it but I need to remove my Daniel defence handguard & put it in You need a Lipo charger, i use an imax B6 charger from eBay, it comes with all sorts of charging leads
  12. It could all be his fault but instead of owning up, he's taking the route of blaming you People should expect that they don't get a warranty or anything
  13. I'll need a word with my mate as I've never done it but you never know lol
  14. You could mould the items using liquid acrylic Make up the mould from rubber then pour in the acrylic, the same can be done with the barrel, that way it's just the outside that would need a polish to make it see through again Plus with the mould, you can have the barrel window already done or have a slight indent to show where the window is You can use all exsisting parts as the pattern for what needs to be done
  15. Thankyou sir Mine is a V3 gearbox & I like it, the fiddly but is the trigger & trying to get it back in but I've sorted a way of putting it back in without the box breaking apart lol I'll have a look around UK sites & try to get lucky
  16. That would be good if it is I like the look of the stock & I've never seen anyone with that stock at any of the sites I've played at
  17. Sadly mate he's not, doesn't interest him apart from using parts in his boats I make rc boats aswell But if I was to to build a fully see through rifle & mag then I'd start with one of those see through m4's I know a few engineering people who could mill out a barrel from acrylic rod, the gearbox from acrylic block etc & from what I've seen, you can get clear hop units aswell
  18. In the above photo by Russell Where can I get a stock like that to go on my g36c
  19. A good friend of mine had an rc boat hull, deck & super structure made from 3mm thick clear plastic vacum formed He used clear silicone to seal it all up with battery etc inside (still had access inside it) It looked pretty cool on the water & had a little camera inside to record everything
  20. Use a pair of pliers to grip the head & turn Check all wiring for any breaks Check solder joints on trigger contacts & battery connector (if deans is fitted) Check motor out of the pistol grip but hold onto it
  21. How about the medical reasons for it being a bad idea I've known people with epilepsy & it not hinder them in sports so for that reason I think there a bad idea And before people jump on the band wagon & say "well they shouldn't play it" is the same as saying a person in a wheel chair shouldn't play (and I know they do from photographic evidence on here)
  22. The best thing I've seen is me by a helo with a sniper 20' away in the open, as he started to run that's when I shoot then got hit myself by friendly fire What made it hilarious is we're both stood there talking & he said "bollocks, I forgot about my side arm" So even the best of them get caught out And I don't refer to them as kills, to me they're out of the game for a few minutes & a few less people to worry about
  23. Things always seems to breakdown when you least expect or the day after the warranty ends There's always a way round something simple that doesn't involve tonnes of dosh
