  1. You could try cheap kids walkie talkies but don't know what range is like ?? Depending on what play wether it's cqb or outdoor/woodland will also depend on the capable range of them I use baofeng 888s & uv-5r so paid £75 for 5 years use of frequencies
  2. I always use small incriments of hop so will take a little while to dial the hop in
  3. Sorry mate, I worded it wrong d'oh Are you using it for cqb or woodland as 330 ain't bad, all of mine (including cqb) fire at 340-345
  4. Are you using the rifle indoors or outdoors mate ??
  5. There certainly is When I was programming the uv5r for channel 10 on the 888s, I was picking up some chatter, must have been a range or something from what I was catching but did away with those frequencies And that's a prime reason why you need to be careful because you don't know who's on the other end & what you could potentially be interfering with
  6. Thanks prof Didn't know it went from 1-5w but yeah, anything above 0.5w needs a licence, even taxi drivers & ham radio operators need them
  7. If the radios are at a max power output of 0.5 watts then no licence needed but radios with a power output 4-5 watts like the baofeng 888s, you need a licence which is £75 for 5 years, so the more your covered the better
  8. A zoo themed skirmish sounds pretty fun & the periscope in the neck is a good idea, people won't know where your head truly is lol But please leave the dentists alone
  9. Yep Its gorrila time baby lol
  10. Nope, I just stick my head out & get it shot at
  11. That's ok BC, it's always good to have people think about things on the other side of the fence I did make sure I got a licence to use them, don't want to give people another excuse to try & put the sport into disrepute
  12. It's all sorted turns out the place I got the frequencies from, didn't have vital info I needed until I looked elsewhere The vitel details were to do with DCS & CTCSS which has now been programmed I've only used the first 9 channels
  13. Out of 15 freqs I wrote down, 1 freq works completely fine so I'll just stick with that one, another team mate has the same radio as me so I've given him the freq that works That's the thing though Qlimax, the freqs I wrote down are supposed to be default freqs, so I just keyed them into the keypad 1 at a time & nothing apart from the 1 channel
  14. As in the title, bought this radio for December I've written down all the baofeng 888s frequencies & they work, I can receive from both radios & transmit between both radios, LED indicators say both are transmitting & receiver The 888s will transmit the words & I can hear them through the speaker & headset but when transmitting from the uv5r, you can't hear the words through the speaker or earpiece I'm confused to why both can transmit & receive but you can't hear the person transmitting from the uv5r
  15. Ffs trust you to pick it up Doug A Rick Grimes or Daryl loadout So much around these days from comic books, films & computer games that for me personally, it's hard to decide
  16. I might do a Rick grimes losdout or even a Daryl losdout
  17. My bad duck, as usual my brains worked than faster than my hands, I've got a basic mosfet permanently installed
  18. I like the idea of the bolt job to restrict the selector plate Cheers for the offer duck, I'll look around & get back to you mate
  19. Are you serious trig ?? Where are they available ??
  20. As the title says How would I go about locking my ics m4 temporarily to semi so I can use it as a DMR ?? I don't want to use a bells & whistles fet as I've installed one already, I'm sticking an m120 spring with a hi torque motor into using another upper gearbox so I can swap them out at a moment's notice
  21. My x3200 was pants Didn't display rounds per second & 7 of the sensors broke inside Think I'll have to invest in the 3500 just for the larger tube
  22. Go with ak2m4 mate I've bought things from him, he's a top bloke & always gives great advice
  23. That looks nice with the blue streaks running through the grain so I can see why you'd want it
  24. I wouldn't recommend black ops either as a regular thing but just to try so people make up there mind In mine & beastmodes experiences, cheaters etc prosper at black ops as they know they'll get away with it
