  1. Since getting my l85a2, I've been toying with idea of buying a bfa & adapting it to accept a slightly longer barrel I'm planning on do a loadout from my army days & thought about the bfa I'd love to see the look on people's faces when I get it out the gun bag & they see it on there Ideas, thoughts and/or suggestions on the idea ??
  2. That's certainly true trig I've learnt a bit about someone when they relax & get comfy so most of the time it's someone you don't want to know Its even happened in the 1st game of the day where you had a suspicion about someone
  3. It sounds to me that the OP has a bit of a thing for not helping people when they need it
  4. I've done it, a guy with pistols was blatting away, he threw them on the ground & grabbed his other 2 pistols, he just said ok & off he went I was out so said ill meet him at the SZ entrance, I cleared them both, working parts to the rear & waited for him, he came back about 5 minutes later & said cheers buddy What is the problem with some people ?? a soldier will never say Fuck off, I ain't giving you any rounds, oh your bleeding like a pussy so I'll leave it to someone else If we're playing at soldiers with toy guns then start living by the same things they do (simulated obviously) or just Fuck off elsewhere
  5. If your any good at soldering then I'd suggest get the trigger contact & solder on 16 gauge silicone wire as the low resistance silver "upgrade" wire heats up, melts together & shorts out (at least it did in my case)
  6. I had a guy asking if anyone had green gas & I had just over quarter of a bottle left, he offered me full price to which I said no mate as I had a full bottle in my bag so you keep it, he bought me a few cups of tea during the day to say thankyou
  7. I only buy bio bb's on-site because the on I go to is a 'bio site only' & because I use 2 weights, I have both but carry .20's aswell for anyone who needs them I've got 5x 1 litre bottles with bio & non bio in them for different sites, the non bio's I buy 10,000 at a time
  8. I did it to my son's jump plate carrier but in mine, I don't have it as my life's not dependant on it & it's more flexible for me
  9. That's the thing, helping people is what the sports about, welcoming new players
  10. I've needed a few rounds or a magazine myself in one game & borrowed them so in my respect it's only fair to help out plus if rentals & noobs see you helping then it gives a good face to the site where everyone helps eachother but you do get those guys that look at you & say piss off I personally will help out where I can for example, rentals were saying they didn't hit anything so I took them onto the range & helped dial in there hop & now 3 of them are regulars
  11. It was all fine up until Sunday Haven't had time to mess around with it yet as been busy but I'll check what you've suggested soon as I can
  12. Yes the battery was fully charged as I charge them the night before Yes it's still double feeding & whining
  13. I just used 2 pieces of cardboard taped together for the front & the back
  14. I completely bipassed the A1 when I joined up from the army cadets using the cadet GP to the A2 with the mods already done so I didn't know that was the case I loved the A2 which is why I'm keeping mine looking as it is so I have the old soldier 95 loadout as there's so many Afgan loadouts
  15. I didn't know that mate but it's typical, pay to send it abroad, pay to have it fixed or refined or made with our own materials then pay to bring it back
  16. On the outside it is the L85A2
  17. Or I could just do it myself as I'd rather fix it myself than over pay someone else
  18. I noticed on Sunday that my SA80 started to make a whining noise for the first few shots when a new mag was inserted & double feeds aswell the hop unit is fine & fps remains the same Could it be down to gears or spring etc Just to add, it's was pissing it down all day but wasn't cold but I always take the weather factor into consideration

    RiF loopholes

2 tones are not pointless if A- your under 18 B- to young to be ukara registered C- your parents dont play airsoft We're not all lucky enough to have a family member who played for the laws changed so already have RIF's We all start somewhere mate & I didn't want to pay for rental all the so like the OP, I wrapped camo tape on at game days & removed it at the end of the day
  20. Lol if OCD people didn't exsist then nothing wouldn't be almost perfect
  21. No no no no Resist the light side my young padawan. The dark force is strong in you Stay with airsoft cause even paintballers need hero's
  22. Sorry if I'm teaching granny to suck eggs Does the scope have screw in/out rear lens ??
  23. I've got the same red dot You unscrew the 2 smaller caps & turning them with a screw driver will adjust the dot up & down, left & right Adjust the hop unit to get the bb flying level as you can (start at 5 metres away) then where the bb hits, adjust up or down & left or right
  24. Try moving your scope forward a bit & see if that helps
  25. I play at Spartan airsoft at the end of Bristol international airport & despite the persistent rain 90% of the day, it was a cracking fundraising event
