Nope, Hes USSF, The Caption reads

USSF and ANA forces drove to Tagab district, Kapisa province to capture known Taliban commanders in the area. (U.S. Army photo by Spc. Connor Mendez/Released"

Wear what the hell you like. The only times what you wear should come into is if its too thick to feel your hits or if your playing milsim when dress is part of the game. If its a normal skirmish then you can wear your girlfriends underwear if thats what floats your boat. I hate people who think you have to go all army to play airsoft because camo and correct blahblah uniform really matters when your shooting at each other 30 meters apart with plastic balls fired out of your toy gun. Wear whats comfortable, suitable and most importantly what you like sod what anyone else says.

JamesAirsofterAgent reacted to TacMaster in Osprey mk4 or other PC?
Don't use a PC for cadets, you'll just get laughed at- plus they're really impractical for fieldcraft.
Get an Osprey Battle Belt set, they're pretty good quality and some places will sell them with 2x ammo and utility pouches. A friend of mine bought a set for £60 and it's decent stuff. Covered in MOLLE so there's plenty of room for additional pouches of any brand.

The latest toy, TM recoil Recce rifle it has been R hopped, has a BTC Spectre MOSFET and some other bits I can't remember:
Still need to add optics(probably an Elcan Spectre clone) and maybe flip up sights and possibly a suppressor somewhere down the line.

JamesAirsofterAgent reacted to n1ckh in To give strangers BBs or not
I've needed a few rounds or a magazine myself in one game & borrowed them so in my respect it's only fair to help out plus if rentals & noobs see you helping then it gives a good face to the site where everyone helps eachother but you do get those guys that look at you & say piss off
I personally will help out where I can for example, rentals were saying they didn't hit anything so I took them onto the range & helped dial in there hop & now 3 of them are regulars

JamesAirsofterAgent reacted to MrMcG in To give strangers BBs or not
Yeah we are the same happily give out bbs mid game if someone is out have just given them a mag to use before as easier than digging out speedloader etc..
I kinda live by the do good to others and they do good to you, plus it's a hobby and we all want to have fun so after shooting loads of people a little dose of good karma won't do any harm

JamesAirsofterAgent reacted to Snakeeyes75 in To give strangers BBs or not
The amount of times I've been asked if I have any BB's! plus the worst one I've found "Can you hold my gun" or "Can you pass me my gun" F*CK RIGHT OFF!!!!!
If you turn up for a game with half a bottle of BB's then you're an idiot (Not the OP).
-
JamesAirsofterAgent reacted to Shizbazki in To give strangers BBs or not
TBH i would have been happy to fill a mag of his, 350 BBs out of 3000 from a single bag isnt going to break the bank, but if the same guy kept coming to me then i might have been a bit pissed.

My previous replica, heavily customised CyberGun m4 (full metal).
Had a precision barrel, hi-torque motor, upgraded cylinder, bunch of other details. It was super precise, I loved this thing.
The silencer was custom made to hide the long barrel of the gun:
One day I'll build a replica close to this one again. For now I'm just gonna scrub, and see if I can actually have proper time to play some good games before getting a new replica.

My newest guns, and the three I'll be using the most throughout NAE later this month.
Top one is a CYMA AK, I added a rail system, which required some "dremelling" to get it to work, (I guess it was designed for a AK47, not a 74 style front end..?)
The Middle one is a Black FNX-45 Tactical, just got this today, really awesome kick on it, got it for £115 on Airsoft-worlds new auction thingy. considering their "sale" price is £150, not too shabby for a brand new pistol.
Bottom is my ICS L85, got an Elcan for it, currently It's got a G36k flash hider on it because the pistol took all of my money and made me poor lol.

bit of an update, as if it wasn't unwieldy enough lol.
next things will be some RIS on the side for the funky looking vltor bipods, possibly to "sink" the launcher into the gun, slightly less weight, slightly lower profile.

If you think you have hit someone but aren't 100% assume you haven't. I'm sure people thinking "well they aren't taking their hits so I won't take mine" is the main reason cheating escalates in a day, and in actual fact you never hit them.
Don't fire in the safe zone, ever. A lot of sites cover this in the brief but either way it still happens so much it isn't funny. Sometimes I wish I could hold my gun up to someone who is doing its face and say "this gun has no magazine in it, are you happy for me to pull the trigger to confirm there's not a BB loaded?" - I would never do this but I am illustrating a point in case anyone isn't sure
When crossing in front of another player shout something like "crossing" let's them know what you are doing and avoids some point blank friendly fire incidents.
Fortunately a lot of sites mention this, but if you aren't sure if you are hit just take it. I've been walking back to the safe zone and realised that what hit me was a rain drop.. It's better safe than sorry.
Edit: Most of what I am saying tends be covered in safety briefs, but anyone that plays at a site regularly will notice that occasionally the person doing the briefing is essentially relying on regulars to highlight anything they missed. This is something I have seen happen at multiple sites.

little sods - or bigger sods need to get out more or pop along and give us some target practice
