With perseverance you cannot fail, you might just never actually finish.

If you end up persevering so much you spontaneously-combust and explode, I'd say you've definitely failed and definitely not finished! Persevere well away from naked flames and sources of ignition.

Easy way, get rid of your car. Going to the gym is a chore, cycling to the pub isn't.

  12. Okay, that one's going on my list of things to get. Also, James; evike.com Anyway, I like the style of KRISS Vector's, UMPs and G36c's.
  13. Some DPM combat trousers, because I can't be going out in jeans now, can I?
  14. That thread is really full of some stupidity beyond my comprehension of humanity extends it's understanding. Honestly, for the life of me I can't figure out why those people responded in such a hostile and immature manner? And all that just.. Stupidity in the thread. Well, whatever weapon I have, I'll shoot 'em with, their choice.
  15. Okay, since my father is a avid 'Vaper', and we both design and make(Hence why we have a 'workshop') atomizers(Though I mostly do site specific things), I'm safe to say; I'm surrounded by Lipo's, and they're frankly safe to use, the 'time-bomb' threat was real.. If you owned an old Dell laptop or if you've double stacked them (Not a good idea, they [can] get hot quite quick and [can] explode), also don't overcharge them, use smart chargers, ect. Just take general care, like you do with any battery, one thing we do is put the charger (when charging batteries) in a baking tin, and then put another baking tin on top, just to be safe, though we haven't had any bad batteries.
  16. A M16, completely plastic, screwed n' glued together, nice FPS AEG that cost me £24 from a random shop in Leigh Park back in 2006 or something.
  17. As everyone else says, don't buy a gun for that price, you'll be pulling pieces off left right a center, for example, my Yika (Piece of crud, by the way), that I brought just because it was cheap as heck, fired nicely the first few shots, but hey, it was Chinese plastic and the piston broke, and for most 'cheap' weapons you're gonna get plastic internals and such, which may work for a while but will break in the long term, I have the luck of having a workshop where I can fabricate parts for my guns, most people don't, and you'll be paying a lot more money on repairs. My advice; don't buy a gun just yet, don't buy a gun because it's cool or anything, rent a gun while you save up for something, and do your research on said items, check reviews and such, make sure the parts are long lasting and the gun is reliable, because you're gonna have to keep that one 'till you get enough money together to get the gun and kit for what you really want, airsoft in this way is long term if you have no large income. Meanwhile I'm still gawking at guns I don't have the money for, I know your feel of not having a good gun of your own to skirmish with. And there ends my re-iteration of what everyone else has said.
  18. Air rifles are a weird subject really. AFAIK they're only allowed to be sold face to face and aren't allowed to be sold over the internet, here in the UK, though I'm not sure about the law with them, as a few years ago me and my father were able to buy them without any defense, considering the second one we got was one that just about came under the legal limit before you needed a firearms license, and even then I don't think he needed a defense. But hey, if it was airsoft RIFs, then, well, they can enjoy having their stock seized, a fine and a few sore asses from dropping soap.

  20. Be careful when buying from some sites that're based abroad. customs can get right assy about airsoft guns..
  21. Hence the brackets. From what I know, the part of the VCRA that regulates the sale of [R]IFs (In this context air-soft weaponry) was made in such a way to limit who can buy such items to people that have a legitimate use for them, because at the time people were stealing and buying RIFs and using them to mug and hold up shops, blah blah, the fact you had illegal items in the same building, and given it was right after the ban gave the police enough suspicion to seize the items, and at the time it would be reasonable to suspect such a thing, but without evidence it's a mostly baseless claim. [Thanks for the correction there Mike, had a little derp moment]
  22. I'm going to ignore the weed part, because that's silly. As it's said, it's illegal to [bUY or] SELL RIFs to someone under 18 and that's not under the UKARA database, and it's illegal to [bUY or] SELL an IF(Two-tone) to someone under 18. Though I'm not sure if this counts if said items were purchased before the act was put into place, though to bring up a valid defense of that you'd need to have proof of purchase that they were purchased before the act was passed.
  23. Explain to the officer you are, and provide proof and you should be. Just don't say you brought it.
  24. And when you don't get paid, plans fail and falter.
