Another problem is power source. It seems to run on some form of chemical battery rather than the usual NiMH or a lipo. Its really low voltage electrically but it uses a chemical energy as well to drive the gears. You can't just leave it the cupboard either, you need to charge it everyday or it breaks and will never work again.
 
It can come in a range of colours at least, from pink to brown. However there isn't a nice shiny metallic black option and if you bang it into something it damages really easily. They developed some self healing technology which deals with the vast majority of issues within a week which is really quite incredible but you do need to take care of it.

People who know me will likely know that I have a bit of a thing for The Embassy in Leicester. It's local, it's great to play in and the marshals are great. Unfortunately, the site is closing as the developers are now beginning building work. Last game is 24th May.
 
Today, First and Only announced a new site in Leicester. The Towers Hospital. 1.2 Million square foot of CQB in an old hospital built in the late 1800s. It looks like it could be exactly what I was looking for and it's within walking distance of my house!

Nothing special, but I won't be airsofting for a month of two *cri ,_,* so i thought id take some proper photos of my scar before she's put away.
I usually use a pressure switch for the T6 light and use a green laser PEQ box, but I was too lazy to mount them on and wire them up.

I say go for it! It might not look pretty, it isn't the most authentic piece of kit - but that doesn't matter. So long as you like it and it works, it's fine.
 
It's not beyond impossibility for it to happen anyway. A few years back (possibly 5, honestly can't remember), quite a few websites showed that the Philippines military (willing to be corrected) had done a similar thing to their rather old M3 Grease guns. Rails, lights, grips, the works. Absolutely bloody mint. At the time it was an interim thing, until they could afford something else.
 
The internet response was... interesting. The type of people who furiously masturbate over pictures of 'pure' fire-arms (you know the types I mean; "if it wasn't an official design which saw service, it's heresy") were up in arms, decrying what they called 'sacrilege' of a historic firearm. They completely ignored the justifications of the military that, as a country which lacked a multi-trillion dollar defence budget, they couldn't afford to buy lots of flashy, high-tech, polymer guns covered in rails at the time. And that actually, the modifications worked pretty well.

The Air Cav are one of two of my regular sites teams I'm in the Mental Militia ( the anti team) they are probably one of the VN platoons you saw, they held heartbreak ridge all of Saturday. They basically spent the day posing in the foxholes with their VN soundtrack playing on mini speakers in the trees. Was a weird sight coming up heartbreak and seeing them smoking and listening to tunes. They are the ones in the VN style canvas tent and the huge sound system.
 
Other loadouts seen on previous years have been:
 
Girl in French maids outfit
Man in lime green mankini (borat style)
Group of suited and booted hitmen.
Gimp outfit/BDSM kit was the weirdest though.
