  1. Warm water should work as it'll make the plastic a bit more pliable before it sets again.
  2. Stock TM VSR-10 spring for £5. Since I'm playing more and more urban sites I'm building a CQB bolt for my sniper rifle. Number of times the minimum engagement distance has stopped me from taking a shot is getting a bit annoying yet I love sniping too much to ditch the rifle when I go to these sites.
  3. NCS 3-9x40 scope with P4 sniper reticle. £47.90 with shipping. Finally admitted defeat and brought a higher magnification scope for woodland games. Still going to be using my old 2.5x30 scope but only for urban games with my sniper rifle. ASG CZ75 magazine £28.50 with shipping from Fire Support Spare mag for when I use my cz75
  4. Where did you get the rig? Been after one of those for a while now - my usual russian kit stockists don't seem to get them in. Anyway, nice get up mate. What you running as a secondary with it?
  5. Yeah the mp7 is the only one of those two I'd keep. A decent enough secondary or (at a push) primary for CQB games but that's about it really mate. I'm pretty certain it's parts compatible with the TM MP7 AEP (correct me if I'm wrong guys) so upgrading is possible, but even then it's quite hard to get an adequate gun with a TM which are famed for build quality. Well on the other hand don't have that reputation with their electric rifles. Edit: Didn't you mention having a Well P90 that you wanted to upgrade? I'm sensing a theme here...
  6. Welcome to the site mate! Where abouts in the midlands you from? I ask because there's plenty of good sites in the region like MAW in Melton Mowbray, Com Site 3 (RIFT) in Banbury and The Gaol in Oakham. The Mall is definitely a site everyone needs to play at least once. It's pretty epic. I went about 9 months ago and really enjoyed it - just a hassle for me to get there otherwise I'd go more often. I've seen a few vids online and would definitely go to a zombie event there - it's the perfect place for it haha
  7. This is the only version I could find in stock at my usual retailers (aka ones I trust not to rip me off). That said it is a "short" version of the rifle: http://www.actionhobbies.co.uk/Cybergun-FN-FAL-Short-Custom-Blowback-Airsoft-Rifle_A1KIC6.aspx#.VQvbiNkgHTp It's worth ringing them up since there's not much info on the website about it. I'm presuming it's electric (since there's never been a gas one to my knowledge) and based on the king arms model (most likely). A review says it's around 320 FPS but it's better to get the shop to chrono it for you.
  8. This. You're very unlikely to find a quiet gun that shoots fully auto. Shotguns are pretty quiet stock and can be made even quieter by filling any cavities in the body with foam - reduces vibration which causes most of the noise. Plus you can pick up a cheap single shot weapon for next to nothing (~£30 which is almost the price of a pistol mag) which gives you a reasonable back up weapon if your main ever fails you. My trishot always goes to games with me just in case of a weapon failure and the only time it's let me down was when some cheap shells I had in it wouldn't feed. For a really silent gun get one of the MK23 models that has been suggested. I have one (the ASG version) and the only sound you hear from it is the hammer - which I intend to modify to get rid of that sound. Adding on a decent silencer and you've got a really good stealth weapon which can keep up with most AEGs - especially in CQB where everyone's restricted to semi auto. If you get the ASG model don't use the suppressor. It contains an inner barrel that ramps up the FPS to above any sane CQB limit - mine reached between 440-450 which is DMR power. Just take the end cap off and the barrel should just fall out. Then line the suppressor with foam and tada! You have a gun people won't hear firing from more than 10 feet away.
  9. Here's my arsenal fully assembled. CYMA CM.028 AK47 ASG Franchi SAS 12 Shotgun (Short) Well MB02 (VSR G-Spec Clone) KWA/KSC vz61 Skorpion (GBB) ASG MK23 SOCOM (NBB) with modified silencer ASG CZ75 (GBB) CYMA CM.030 G18C (AEP)
  10. Condor shotgun scabbard (olive) 12 round molle shotgun bandolier (olive) £47.99 from military1st Just an impulse buy so I can run my shotgun all the time now rather than as a dedicated primary. Gonna try it out on the 29th at The Gaol. Till then I have the fun of breaking the scabbard in when it arrives.
  11. Hef pretty much hit the nail on the head. If you decide to go for the S&T then it's in stock here: http://www.zerooneairsoft.com/product_info.php?products_id=8006&osCsid=86c6d15d7fa312094cada8248b21f791 And here: http://www.actionhobbies.co.uk/Umarex-IWI-Tavor-TAR-21-Sportsline-Airsoft-Gun-Black_A1JH3Z.aspx#.VQXsU9kgHTo If you're set on the Ares then you can get it here: http://www.surplusstore.co.uk/bb-guns/6mm-ares-tar-21-sportline-black.html For that price though you could get a much better gun.
  12. Regularly use them - just declare it when you ship it or they can flag it.
  13. ASG/KJW Cz75 @ £89.99 from JD Airsoft. Plus next day delivery and PayPal fees it comes to £100.43 On sale instead for that price rather than the £109.99 it usually costs. Been after a new side arm for a while and this one ties in with my modern czech gear as well as (at a push) being Eastern Bloc enough to use with my Russian loadouts. Really regretted selling my umarex one so I'm glad to be getting this.
  14. May turn up and "forget" to take the 12gauge base off my TRMR. Pretty certain it would make an impression haha Edit: Hit "post" whilst typing. Hate touch screens sometimes...
  15. I found it funny in an "I can't believe he is so f***ing stupid!" kind of way. What a knob.
  16. First game with the patch yesterday - sadly no pics. Had a few people comment on it so I sent them this way
  17. Welcome to the site mate. Good choice of gun, ICS M4s are pretty reliable bits of kit
  18. For the moment a tarzan m22 which I've modded a bit to make the velcro more silent. Very light and simple rig with tons of space. I already have a Smersh rig, chicom and lazutchik style vests as well but the m22 is by far my favourite of my collection. Looking at getting a kameleon style rig when frontowiec gets them back in stock. Prepare yourself if you're dipping into Russian kit, it'll hit your wallet hard. I have always been into Eastern Bloc-esque loadouts since I first played S.T.A.L.K.E.R. on the PC.
  19. Gorka 3 suit: http://grey-shop.ru/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=80&search=Gorka+3 Zsh-1 Helmet with visor: http://grey-shop.ru/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=109&search=Zs-1 Black balaclava: http://grey-shop.ru/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=169&search=Mask Finally caved and brought a gorka suit despite always saying I didn't like it. Always been more a fan of over suits but since practically every russian unit now uses/has used gorka it would be worth buying. Helmet because it looks awesome - especially combined with the balaclava. Visor also means I can do away with a lower face mask (though not my eye pro).
  20. Pay day tomorrow, definitely getting one of these bad boys: http://grey-shop.ru/index.php?route=product/product&path=59_66&product_id=109

      Happy

Indeed. So long as the dog doesn't need to go vets (again...) or the car has a problem (again...) I'm looking forward to gettińg it :)

  21. My thoughts on any modification to an AK haha
  22. When I had my AUG I used open topped AK mag pouches. I just had to place a bit of padding at the bottom of the pouch to raise them up a bit. So long as the pouch is fairly elasticated you shouldn't have a problem with the mags not fitting.
