  1. 23rd is also my next pay date. Can get the money to you before then if you drop me your PayPal details sometime.
  2. Had that MP5 myself, cracking little gun. Only issue I had was the magazine supplied - mis fed BBs at times till I took it apart and properly cleaned it. Other than that it had a respectable range and fps (close to 320) for a compact gun. However as a new starter I would steer more towards the M4. Like a previous poster pointed out - it has a lot more parts available to customise and replace as you see fit. The only problem with any ICS gun though is that they can be tricky to replace internal parts. For the money they're sound beginner guns. But there are other options out there. Out of curiousity, what's your budget?
  3. Very pretty, will be absolutely beautiful once it's properly finished.
  4. Tactical Dalmatian as well haha Just purchased a new pair of Czech Army jack boots to replace my old (read: finally disintegrated) ones. Size larger than I usually wear but at £15 I couldn't pass it up. Also got a new Czech ushanka to go with them for the back breaking price of 99p (gotta love eBay) with £2 postage.
  5. Add an order for me mate Easy to remove if someone gets offended - if so they really shouldn't be airsofting though haha
  6. Thanks Ian, just what I didn't need to hear - buy Russian gear now since it's cheaper! My wallet already hates me this month haha
  7. Can second that. Very easy to maintain as well as being very solid.
  8. Yeah I realise that but £243 was enough to spend in one go this pay day haha. Plus the spare is a 40 round mag - most of my local CQB sites are semi auto only so full auto fun will be just for outdoors Going to be investing in green gas though because there's no way it's not coming with me to every skirmish I go to haha
  9. They usually are hit or miss with their weapons, but they really nailed their AK range. One of the few times you'll see a "cheap"/budget brand be recommended over a more pricey brand that has a better track record.
  10. KSC/KWA vz61 Skorpion - GBB Spare magazine for above gun = £243~ from Airsoftzone with postage Finally able to get one after a bit of time saving up for it - shot one before and it was a lot of fun. Going to use it as a sniper backup and as my main CQB weapon (slowly filtering out AEGs from my collection). Also looks/sounds absolutely awesome and ties in well with my eastern bloc kit.
  11. Cyma after getting the spring changed. They're built like tanks!
  12. Goes without saying in the higher fps ranges you'll want to run heavier ammunition than whatever you're using at the moment. Trick is to try a bunch of sizes and see what works for your rifle. The main thing you'll want to be doing is reducing the amount of air that escapes from anyway other than the end of the barrel when you take a shot. More air behind the BB = more consistent fps. So when you instal the new piston make sure that it is tight enough to be pulled back easily but doesn't feel loose. With my VSR (a clone version by Well) I had to change the o-ring around the piston to get a better compression. Instantly my fps (with other upgrades) levelled out to consistently between 470 - 472. This can happen with TM VSRs as well - my friend had to replace the o-ring on the new piston in his stock TM but other people I know haven't. Barrel spacers are a cheap way to also increase your shot accuracy. Very easy to make at home (one of mine was the lid off a coke bottle) they stop the barrel from shifting too much when you shoot - I have three in mine and it holds it rock steady. Of course you can buy them pre-made but they cost anywhere up to £15 in some places. Other than what you've listed, there's not much else I can think of right now that would be worth putting in to the rifle. TM VSRs already have a brilliant hop up unit and precision inner barrel (6.04 I think) as standard so they don't need touching. The cylinder head and cylinder could be replaced at a latter date for a more durable steel one but for now they'll be adequate enough to cope with your higher fps set up.
  13. Depends if you want it to be a practical gun or something fun to shoot. In terms of practicality they're not as reliable as an AEP or NBB pistol since they use gas to blow the slide back - wasting gas that could be used for shooting with. An AEP doesn't need gas (but still needs batteries) and a NBB pistol is more efficient with the same amount of gas - I remember watching a vid on YouTube where a TM mk23 went through 100+ shots before it ran out of gas. That said, GBB pistols are a lot of fun to shoot - the recoil gives it a more "realistic" feel when shooting it. Personally I use AEPs and NBB pistols in the winter and GBB pistols the rest of the year because gas guns don't tend to cope with colder weather.
  14. Would dearly love to see World at War re-released, or Call of Duty going back to it's world war 2 roots. Knowing me if they did I'd be compelled to create a ww2 airsoft loadout haha Definitely looking forward to The Division and BF: Hardline though.
  15. Was at that game. They did but they had the same MED as a bolt action.
  16. Must have not been clear. I meant in the sense that they're not making sure DMRs can't be switched to full auto. Most sites ask it to be mechanically locked.
  17. No enforcement on DMRs? Wow, I wouldn't play there if they overlook things like that. You get nobheads in every sport, just unfortunate it was on your first game.
  18. £40 which will be spent on an S-Thunder launcher Olive drab hydration bladder Two black M4 fast mag pouches 6 Shotgun Shells Plus other bits and pieces
  19. Merry Christmas everyone, hope Santa brought you lots of new toys to shoot people with!

  20. Tokyo Marui AEP Battery Charger/Discharger adapter 2 x Well MB02 plastic 30 round magazines Universal bipod A bunch of "after Christmas" presents I've just got myself.
  21. I have a full family gathering to get to, so will probably be on here till the fighting starts once the booze starts flowing haha Merry Christmas to you all
  22. If that's the case then they're bad at keeping with their own policy - I've brought numerous guns off them and never been bothered so long as I had my UKARA number. Those were online though. Unless she was silly enough to get it out in public, the police wouldn't really have a reason to bother her. Even if they did she'd have a receipt to prove she had only just brought it and was heading home - a legit enough reason to be carrying it around (packaged up of course). Seems to me they were just trying to get more money from her by making you go to their own game events. Pretty poor service on their part. Edit: I hate autocorrect...
  23. They should have ID'd her before saying no. Possibly the person on the counter was having a crap day (it is Christmas after all). No excuse for not selling it to her though. If I refused a £200 sale in my job you bet my manager would want to know a damn good reason why.
  24. I feel it's better to be safe than sorry - I'd rather replace a 25p fuse than a £20+ motor.
