Was the item small enough to fit through the letterbox?  Current guidelines allow postmen to sign for the package only when they have confirmed the identity of the person.  System sucks for sure.  They should be asking for ID if they cannot identify the correct house.

Royal Mail will have the GPS co-ordinates of where he signed it so should be able to track it down if it went to another house.  Contact Royal Mail support and explain the situation.  Ask SurplueStore if they have a picture of the package.  I take pictures of every single package before I send it out as a pre-caution, then tomorrow try and chat to your local postie, show him a picture of the package. SurplueStore can also try contacting RM business support.

What annoys me is that the technology has been around for years to avoid problems like this and yet RM still won't implement it.  A simple photo of the persons front door when posting signed-for packages would solve this issue.  DPD do this

I'd say the majority of Chinese factories are still shutdown.  Luckily I've got a SHS order moving but ZCI and SLD both shutdown right now.  My motor company supplier is open but waiting on a factory for other parts.  Supply chain etc.

I would emphasise "decent solder".  I'm cheaper than a date with Scrooge McDuck, but even I won't waste my time (any more) with SUPER TOP BEST QALUITY Chinesium solder, no matter what it claims to be made of.  You'll just end up frustrated and with a bunch of melted components.
 
Lead is best.  Really, it is.  Sure, it's toxic as all get-out, but if you're doing a few components a year, that's not going to an issue.  Look for 60% tin, 40% lead, or my favourite, tin/lead/copper, e.g. Stannol 535269 in 1mm, if you can find it  (I currently can't  ).  If not, anything 60/40 will be fine.

Stick to Quavers or monster munch, or just pasta in your case 🙂

Must have been quite a number of players who cancelled last minute in order for him to cancel the whole thing.  Unless he didn't get that many people in the first place and wasn't worth the time.  Either way just refund everyone as soon as you cancel the event, how hard is that.

I have some 14:1 ZCI Advanced gears from AK2M4 in my Cyma P90. Nice and solid, very cleanly made. So much so I bought a 16:1 set to go in the G36

It is a free float rail, fitted fine on my own ACM Chinese GBB and does fit on Tippman's and real steel.  Not sure if it would fit on the MWS sorry.

If you can solder - just convert to deans and be done with it
On rare occasions you might need dean/tamiya converter
Just knock one or two up yourself from old lopped off ends
 
Though converters are fine to use different bits together
You will still suffer the resistance as you still using tamiya
throughout the wiring loom, these joints is where resistance
and/or warmth/heat may occur (like all joints in loom)
 
If you can't solder, ask a m8 who can
just cut-solder one lead at a time on batteries - especially lipo's
they pack one heck of a wallop if you short or cut both wires at same time
(clean underwear will likely be required after experiencing a lipo short)
 
Replacing small tamiya with deans outright is best
