  1. I have 2 helmets at different ends of the spectrum Resin Brodie helmet £8 from ebay. Think about how good this is in the rain I also have a Tankers helmet converted to a WW2 Para helmet, which in total came to about 10 times that You can tell it was a tankers helmet as it has a slight dent in the front from someone applying the brakes suddenly http://www.amazon.co.uk/Military-Tactical-Hunting-Paintball-Airsoft/dp/B00K76BUJM/ref=sr_1_53?s=sports&ie=UTF8&qid=1414554824&sr=1-53&keywords=helmet+military These helmets can cost about a tenner. Various old steel helmets can be found on ebay. Former Warsaw pact countries tend to be cheap (Bulgarian helmets are about a tenner). I can tell you, its very easy to tell when you get shot in the head when you wear a steel helmet Unless you encounter low ceilings, hats tend to be good enough protection. A boonie will have a less obvious silhouette than a helmet and I personally love my Slouch hat

  3. Shouldn't have paid that. The speed limit doesn't apply to push bikes. The offense is a different one which requires them to prove that the speed you are doing is a danger to others and cannot therefore be dealt with by a fixed penalty.
  4. Should be 76x35x35cms. 35 inches would be 89cm, so won't fit Diagonally across the bottom would be 83cm, or if you work out the 3 dimensional diagonal using my awesome trigonometry skills (and in no way cheating and using an online right angled triangle calculator), it would be 90cm so it may just be possible to fit your gun in. If you get a poster tube and cut a hole in one end of the bag, glue the poster tube in place and somehow waterproof it (paint it maybe), you would then just need a Velcro strap inside the bag to secure the stock.
  5. You right click on the video and select copy video URL in Youtube. Then just paste it in here.
  6. I use public transport to get to games. I can fit my Sten inside a Pattern 37 large pack, so I just travel wearing my gear. You get a few strange looks dressed in full WW2 marching order gear but its much easier to carry everything by wearing the webbing than it would be to carry the same weight packed in a backpack or bag. If for any reason I did get stopped by police, its going to take a lot less time to persuade them that I have a valid reason for having a RIF in my bag

  8. Tuddenham is a Gunman site isn't it? Should be excellent, Gunman does some very fun WW2, Vietnam and other filmsim games.
  9. Just bought a 2nd AGM Sten MkII. This one is going to a guy from the WW2 airsoft forums, who is going to turn it into an Owen gun for me
  10. Size and shape of a tennis ball, light enough to be safe if thrown and makes a big bang, possibly with a small smoke cloud.
  11. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Wood-Dye-By-Rustins-Penetrating-Wood-Stain-in-11-Colours-All-Types-Of-Wood-250ml-/200912811775?pt=UK_DIY_Material_Paint_Varnish_MJ&var=&hash=item2ec75636ff Then boiled linseed oil from any hardware store. Beeswax to finish if you want it shiney.
  12. You know you have spent way too much time randomly following links on the internet when you find a site selling Zombie Teddybears: http://www.undeadteds.com/store/

  13. You will want a headset anyway so the radio will not be visible.
  14. Well I was made aware of it here http://www.ww2airsoft.org.uk/php/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=18596 They have arrived at an airsoft shop in Taiwan. This makes it sound as if there may be 2 different guns.
  15. Pause the video at 10 seconds and look at the box. It says '6mm CO2'
  16. Consider ww2 airsoft? Walking with a limp would look good with a German uniform Seriously though, ww2 airsoft is more teamwork than running and gunning and the German side is always playing a more defensive game by the very nature of the scenarios, so they have less running around to do. Check out ww2airsoft.org.uk
  17. It's made by ASGK, it's CO2 and has only just arrived in Taiwan. May have to wait a bit.
  18. Also a bullpup. Gunner sits forward of the breech, with the trigger and the magazine is at the rear of the turret
  19. Until I can afford to buy a pair of these from Australia I use a pair of tan work boots which cost me £24 from Amazon. I also have DMS boots or S95 boots.
  20. Plenty of people on ww2airsoft.org.uk who have experience of making their own custom guns up to an including small artillery pieces. If you can get them interested, they might do a Swedish K. A tactical Vz58 might be a harder sell
  21. Just checked, minimum order for free postage is about £253 and postage is £15. Oh and they just got Stens in and I need one for my Owen gun conversion. Just gotta wait til payday
  22. Anyone from Bristol going airsofting Sun 19th?

Big group of people (30ish) booked into Spartan for a birthday, I imagine it'll be a busy one :)

  23. Change the fuse. It will be in a casing along the wires near the battery. Check the battery connectors (both the gun side and on the battery) If that doesn't work, unscrew the base of the pistol grip to access the motor. Are the connectors on the motor connected? Check the motor by connecting it directly to a battery (doesn't have to be an airsoft battery, an AA battery should turn it if its pulled out of the gun).
  24. I thought students didn't buy anything in bottles unless it had a label that included the % alcohol?
