Spent some time walking around DSEI this week.  Not as swag-heavy as SHOT because it's mostly procurement people in suits buying boats and guided missiles so the stalls give out a lot of pens, but I diligently hunted down what tacticool stuff was there.

Bought (supposedly) 3 sets of Crye G3 combats, all 32R.  Package turned up with 2 sets on and another pair of UKSF custom Gen 2 combats in 30L.. oh well, luckily they happened to fit my brother and he fancied a pair, the others can go on the bay.  Tempting to keep a set because I'm a terrible hoarder but I really really don't need 2 pairs in normal MC.
 

Tiffany never actually made these guns AFAIK, there's a lot of pictures around online that would suggest it but they're all rigged up.  A New York fashion store selling firearms?  I think anyone who knows the politics in NYC and amongst the US (or indeed global) fashion industries generally will see the unlikelihood of that:

First picture makes it look real right?  Except there's no box there that the gun would actually fit in.  The cardboard bag and the draw-string bag are just packaging from jewellery or whatever.  Though if anyone has a definite link from Tiffany's themselves proving me wrong I'd be honestly interested in seeing that.
 
Either way, paint job looks well done, it's a unique colour and for me personally definitely an improvement on some of these 'Glock' models WE put out.

I always thought that you could own an RIF without a defence, but you just couldn't buy one. So for example before I was 18 my dad would use his UKARA to get me a gun, so it'd be my property but because it was a gift it was legal to own without a defence.
I also thought that the UKARA was to protect retailers rather than players however i'm more than happy to be corrected because I'm not well read up on them and I've never really bothered with them, mostly because I'd just buy guns from the Republic of Ireland and I've never had any hassle bringing them back across the border or having them shipped directly.

Needed a new vest rig after my crossdraw vest has run its course, no longer suits my kit (no pistol pouches or grenade pouches!) and have been tempted to get a grenade for a while.

Thought it was about time that I finish off my RATech/GHK M4. The overall build has cost me a lot of money but these are the finishing pieces (I hope). Yes, I am a (big) fan of Magpul.

GearTechs first custom armour complete. Something I have been wanting to do for a couple of years. Really pleased with how it turned out.
