  1. It's literally just the latest version of this:
  2. Just to illustrate the point @TheFull9 made: Benelli Super Black Eagle 3 civilian shotgun: Benelli M4 "tactical" shotgun for LE/Mil use
  3. Shouldn't be a problem, package them well and declare them as toy parts (because that's what they are).
  4. And the prize for oldest necro post of the day goes to....
  5. from here: https://www.gov.uk/goods-sent-from-abroad?step-by-step-nav=849f71d1-f290-4a8e-9458-add936efefc5 also this: BUT that assumes that the sender has charged you VAT at point of purchase and is registered to reverse charge HMRC. If they haven't then the you will still have to pay the VAT yourself. As far as HMRC is concerned it'll be down to you to either check that they have paid it or to pony up the difference. If you think you've overpaid then you'll need to fill in the appropriate form and throw yourself on the tender mercies of HMRC https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-repayment-or-remission-of-import-duties-c285-chief
  6. I've never let a full understanding of the point in question stop me from being pedantic 🤣
  7. Just a side note, Hypalon was discontinued by DuPont as a product in 2010 when they shut their only factory making it. Crye now use 100% neoprene for the straps on the JPC. Nice mod though, I have a similar thing for my AVS clone (I bought mine from Tacbelts UK though).
  8. No, you're the importer. It's your responsibility to ensure that the tax gets paid either by the seller IF they're registered with HMRC to pay it directly or yourself if they're not. It's the carriers responsibility to collect the tax on the behalf of HMRC but it's still your responsibility to pay it.
  9. If your parents are going to buy you a gun and gift it to you and they don't have a defence to allow them to buy a non two-tone gun then they will only be able to buy a two tone. The law around RIFs is a bit back to front in as much as it's illegal but you can have a defence against prosecution. It's not illegal to own a non two tone but it's illegal to be sell one to you if you don't have a valid defence.
  10. Couple of quick points, first off try routing the V-lite UNDER the bungees on your cover. The cheap ones have a habit of delaminating from the velcro backer when they get hot. Also, try angling the light over your left ear downwards. They're relatively short throw and quite directional so if you want to use it to see where you're going you'll have to look down a lot, a bit of downward angle will help you maintain your forward field of vision (although I would suggest the mandible may well obstruct your downward field of view anyway).
  11. Firstly - excellent choice of tunes. Secondly - it's as much about matching the impedance as it is amplification. The headphone output of a p[hone is quite low impedance to match up with normal headphones, COMTACs and the like will need an amplifier of some kind, not necessarily a PTT but you could do a lot worse than to talk to John at JCi Communications https://www.facebook.com/Jci-Comms-222286948363715/
  12. I'd say you're fine on the colours. Rangers were wearing 3 colour DCU with choc chip helmet covers which is what you have.
  13. Is this not how the A&K ones work then?
  14. TaiwanGun are fine, UPS however...not so much. As TG are still insisting on using UPS I'd steer clear for a while yet.
  15. A rail mount torch will fit on the rail sections at the front end of the handguard, if that places it too far forward to reach the controls then a remote tape switch could be fitted to the top rail or (less ideal) you could fit and offset mount to let you attach the torch further back but still place it to the side.
  16. I remember having a discussion with someone at work about anxiety/depression meds and they said that I didn't seem like the sort of person that would need them. "Well that just proves they work then, doesn't it!" I said!
  17. Absolutely, it's splitting hairs on exactly why it's so terribad! I love my EBR but this just made me do a sick in my mouth.
  18. Trust me, with the weight distribution of those things you could have a good, solid grip on the foregrip and there'd still be PLENTY of weight to secure your elbow in the cup. I cannot overstate just how immensely unbalanced the airsoft EBRs are!
  19. Have you ever used an EBR? ALL the weight on those things is up front! Two of them doubly so!
  20. As someone on "proper" meds for anxiety I echo @Druid799's sentiments entirely. As for this place, know that our prickly demeanour and intimidating scowls come from a place of love. Well, mostly.
