  1. Depends what you're trying to achieve with it. Is the gun giving you problems?
  2. They're still quite big to fit into the SCAR-L though. I have a Nano AB, it's way larger than the Pico.
  3. Lock your bins, don't leave rubbish laying about. Simple solution that'll make the problem go away on its own.
  4. Jesus, are we still arguing the toss on this?
  5. No need for a row. All it took was a quick look at the link provided. No drama.
  6. Your technique is good, but why would you think you need a top coat of Krylon? If the PlastiKote doesn't bond properly you'll just be poapering over the cracks. As far as PlastiKote goes it's fine, I would suggest you use the Matt Super range http://www.plasti-kote.co.uk/Product/pcode---4181/pccode---6751 Krylon has the advantage of coming in camo style colours in their Fusion range which incorporates an adhesion promoter for use on plastics. Socom Tactical ell it for £7 a can so God knows why you'd be paying £15 a pop. PlastiKote is made by Valspar who have UK production and far wider distribution, Krylon is made by Sherwin Williams who don't. Hence the price difference.
  7. Classic case of RTFM. The listing on Component shop clearly states that the charger requires input power of 11-18V DC at 5A or more.
  8. There's two versions of that charger, the B6 is DC in only, the B6AC is dual power. Just need to be careful which one you get!
  9. Or...y'know you could just not keep half arsing everything and do the job properly. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Digital-IMAX-B6AC-Balancing-Charger300mAh/dp/B00GGBC8WA/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1402654894&sr=8-7&keywords=B6+charger That's the charger I have. Does LiPo/LiFE/NiMh/NiCd, balance charging and takes mains power. £30 job done.
  10. Just buy the one in this link instead: http://www.componentshop.co.uk/accucel-6-digital-charger-3282.html It's the same charger but including the mains power brick.
  11. Seems this gun just doesn't want to get fixed. Can't get the bearing off the shaft of one of the old gears!
  12. New Super Shooter gears! YAY! An evening spent shimming! BOO!

    E3 2014

Meh, you kids and your fancy trade shows. I was getting confused (I'm old - it happens) with CES. So sue me.
  14. Mostly listening to this at the minute myself though
  15. Well that was horrible. Now this....this is death metal. but if you absolutely MUST have something a little Asian in the mix.....try this:
  16. Really? You'd never know.... Personally, I used to mountain bike a LOT but my personal geometry has become pretty downhill specific these days so it's video games (console and PC), airbrushing (yes - on guns as well as other stuff) and the usual pottering about. Work is pretty stressful so I like to unwind in front of mindless entertainment of an evening.

E3 is NOT just a gaming convention.
  18. Which would then make said forum member guilty of exporting real gun parts. If customs check it you might regret that offer...
  19. Cheaper on Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/Boll%C3%A9-COBFSPSI-Bolle-Safety-Goggles/dp/B006M0JPXK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1402578464&sr=8-1&keywords=bolle+cobra
  20. Received my new SHS Super shooter gearset for the M4 from your pal and mine AK2M4, ordered a set of Typhon Emerson G3 pants from ShooterCB gear...other than that pretty quiet on the buying front. I just want my M4 working again
  21. Unfortunately not everybody knows 1) how to use google properly or 2) what they're supposed to be looking for in the first place. Advice from ones peers is often invaluable - I for one would have been none the wiser when I was thinking about getting an AK without asking here first. Had I asked the same question on ZeroIn then the discussion couldn't have included makes other than those that Z1 sell.
  22. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MOLLE It's actually a system of load bearing equipment but the word has become synonymous with what is actually called PALS webbing http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PALS_webbing The system allows you to attach ammo and utility pouches on a ladder pattern of webbing. This means that you can have whatever pouches you want in a layout that suits the individual without having to make a "one size fits all" solution.
