  1. Now we're getting somewhere! Where are your guns deficiencies? What is your gun while we're at it?
  2. Ah but I would wager the "other side" are willy waving about how accurate their loadout is...
  3. Oh I agree with you there, the problem is that any given up grade will respond differently in almost every gun. There will be a general trend for sure (TBB will increase FPS for example) but direct comparisons are hard. For example - I needed to get my FPS down below 340 to use a gun at the Malls. M100 should be right but even an M90 pushes a couple of my guns over because I've also improved my airseal (nozzle, cylinder head, piston o-ring etc). In addition to that a combination of upgrades will change how a gun responds depending on how that particular combination works with the other component parts - the TBB you choose for an M16 won't respond the same as the same ID TBB on my M4 for example (as it has a 280mm long barrel). Maybe think about what you find a problem with your specific gun and ask if anyone has an idea to improve that aspect. And don't be offended if the answer is either "move closer" or "learn to shoot better"
  4. To be fair it's largely irrelevant what other people say they reach; if you can hit what you're shooting at who cares what everyone elses range is?
  5. http://www.uktactical.com/p-11169-crye-precision-combat-pants-gen-3-multicam.aspx Plenty of decent guns under £220...
  6. If it's not the fuse a wire might have come loose on the motor - unscrew the base plate on the pistol grip and have a look. Don't lose the little metal disc that might fall out though. You'll need to make sure that goes back in when you put the plate back on.
  7. When you plug in a freshly charged battery and pull the trigger does it make any noise at all? If not it could just be a blown fuse - open the fuseholder in the wiring near the battery and check it. If it makes a bit of noise in the pistol grip then chances are something has jammed.
  8. ....and so it begins.
  9. Ah yes, airsofters and range. You may as well have asked "has anyone measured their penis".
  10. That hasn't been in production for ages.
  11. Gas efficiency isn't great on the M9. I'd say XDM myself because the WE HiCapa is poor and I will never recommend a Glock to anyone ever. Because reasons. Actually, save up and get a TM HK45. You won't be sorry.
  12. I bought a spare mag for my Marui HK45. I too thought the shipping was a bit steep for a small item but as it was next day I figured that would be fine. And it was delivered the day after it was despatched. Unfortunately they just didn't bother despatching it for about 4 days. Again, no shipping notification or any other comms other than the original order confirmation.
  13. 20% off all WAS stuff at UKTactical this week using the code AI500
  14. OK, do you have your UKARA details yet?
  15. Any idea how much you want to spend?
  16. There's a Go Outdoors in Canterbury. Personally I rather like the Merrell Moab mid or whatever their latest incarnation of that is. I have very wide feet too!
  17. Welcome! I am no more athletic than you for sure (a little younger at 45 granted but the only real exercise I get is walking the dog at the weekend - and airsoft once a month). I too suffer from tinnitus but did you mean Agoraphobia or claustrophobia? I would have thought being agoraphobic would have stopped you being a wildlife photographer? Anyhow, it sounds like you've made an informed decision regarding sniping which is the polar opposite of how most new (younger) players come to the long guns. The reason we try and discourage them is because they don't realise that they can't hit someone on the other side of game area or "no-scope" with an airsoft rifle and just how expensive sniping can get in terms of upgrades and the law of ever diminishing returns. One word of warning though - sneaking about in the bushes bent double to hide from view wreaks havoc on your knees! Have at it though, I'm sure you're going to enjoy yourself!
  18. M170? You'll probably destroy the gearbox and exceed the FPS limit of your site but yeah, it might work.
  19. Must have been every time I was there! If there's spaces available you're still better off booking. There's a calendar on the website: http://www.zedadventures.co.uk/calendar/ and it seems there's still spaces for this Sunday. Drop an email to [email protected] with you name, walk on/rental and the site and date you want to book. They usually reply pretty quickly.
  20. If it's a Marui one then you can get a conversion kit: http://www.tokyo-model.com.hk/shop/poly-sl8-conversion-kit-for-marui-g36c-p-1395.html
  21. Or maybe the EBR variant if you want more rails/tacticool appearance http://www.taiwangun.com/en/electric-air-soft-guns/cm-032-ebr-black-style-cm?from=listing&campaign-id=19 (I have one and it's pretty damn good out of the box!)
  22. I believe they're not allowed to use H&K trades (hence their new USP Compact has a different name and no trades). I think Wolf Armouries has some in stock, failing that you can still get them imported from Echigoya.
  23. Currently rocking an MP5K and an HK45 among my arsenal but as and when they're back in stock I'm thinking I may splurge on a Classic Army M41ES (G3A4) and work out how to turn it into the carbine version (G3KA4).
