  1. If you can find one the Madbull Gemtech HALO silencers might fit (not on the Vortex style hiders though).
  2. It's a LOT more expensive though! I have the CYMA EBR and the flash hider is part of the outer barrel. The ONLY silencer that fits the vortex style flash hider is a G&P one that has been out of stock everywhere since forever. Don't make the mistake of putting a 5.56 silencer on it though, they look stupid (too short).
  3. Seriously, the ESS fans are barely audible even flat out.
  4. I doubt they'll fit under the goggles. The desert locust is quite low profile.
  5. Bob Ross is AWESOME!!!!
  6. Bridgedale Trekker socks from Go Outdoors (cos they cheaper). CoolFusion Trekkers for indoors and summer, WoolFusion Trekkers for winter. Padded in the right places, good wicking and stretchy bits around the instep for support. Bob's yer mothers live in lover.
  7. MORE than 2 months, LESS than 12.
  8. They've always had regular offers on. I think the current ones are more to do with the new WAS stuff coming in and giving them more stuff that needs shifting to make room for stock.
  9. Pretty sure they're not Hypalon. Description actually calls them "strong rubber".
  10. Or you could try the Condor Sentry PC. That adjusts pretty small. http://www.military1st.co.uk/201042-003-condor-sentry-lightweight-plate-carrier-tan.html
  11. Just to be really pedantic, Connery used a Walther P5 in Never Say Never Again but technically it's not an "official" Bond film although Roger Moore also uses one in Octopussy which came out the same year. Apparently both films used them as a marketing ploy for Walther. The PPK isn't used in Moonraker either (despite being in the posters).
  12. Sorry. You're almost right. From the IMFDB page on Tomorrow Never Dies: Brosnan used the P99 for the following two films. Daniel Craig used a P99 in most of Casino Royale (uses a PPK in the pre-title fight scene) but reverts to the PPK in Quantum of Solace.
  13. I'd suggest something like the TMC JPC copy http://www.shootercbgear.com/product_info.php?products_id=5281
  14. Daniel Craig does, yes. Brosnan used a P99 in three of his Bond movies though. In fact Bond has never used a PPQ...
  15. MEDs are related to the FPS of the gun not the type of gun. Generally an AEG or pistol firing under 350FPS has no MED but DMRs and bolt action sniper rifles with high FPS do. Hence if you get a sniper rifle you'll need a sidearm for when people get inside your MED (either a pistol or an SMG or something similar).
  16. I hate the ambidextrous ones with a passion because the one on the finger side (as opposed to the thumb side if you get my drift) digs into the knuckle when you try and select Auto.
  17. Which? The s-e-f one or the ambidextrous one?
  18. There's a control on the battery holder. Off, low speed and high speed. I usually have it on full chat because it doesn't actually take much power and makes minimal noise.
  19. The two threads cam from my comment about getting bored of all the HPA posts and someone said "it's only been two threads" But yes, people should still search but at least if the sticky was there when they start another thread about it we can all just post the link and wander off to discuss how much Trigger secretly loves G&G.
  20. A whole sub forum for two threads vs one sticky post about the most commonly upgraded sniper rifle on the market? Reckon it's worth a go.
  21. Don't think you'll find the warranty covers the foam. I enquired and they wouldn't sell the new foam surround as a spare part either.
  22. Maybe we need a sticky post with the best links and videos in to save us all the heartache next time then?
  23. All true of course but then there's no substitute for guidance by people that have actually done it before and are willing to discuss the pros and cons. Google just presents you with a list of choices rather than actual advice.
  24. I don't own one but a couple friends do so I've had a go. Nice guns, the magazine can be a pain in the arse if you're prone (it's quite long) and mag pouches are less plentiful than say, MP5s. Nobody seems to do a decent aftermarket nozzle for it so you're stuck with stock parts if it needs replacing, the stock isn't adjustable and some find it a little long. Nice guns though. ImTriggerHappy will be along shortly to tell you that you should buy an ICS instead. Ignore him, they don't make a UMP and he's just got a bee in his bonnet.
