Cries of "Where the fuck did that go?" when opening a gearbox are a rite of passage in airsoft. That said, get a small screwdriver and insert it in the back end of the spring guide and hold onto it when you take the front half of the gearbox off. That should stop the main spring from popping straight out and scaring your cat/skinning your knuckles/getting lost forever/all of the above.

I know it's not a cheap option but there is a John Wick Taran Tactical conversion kit available for the MWS now....

And apparently it's not even the best plate carrier of the ones on test....

Bloody hope so. I have one of their old lightweight slings set up as a single point on one of my rigs but they stopped making that ages ago. I need a decent single point that isn't a bouncy piece of crap so it's either wait for FC to get their act together or buy a legit Magpul one.

They look like a pretty standard COTS earpiece for a phone to me. Possibly even a butchered pair of in ear 'phones. It's just a prop after all. Most actual bluetooth earpieces for radios have a mic on them like this: The lack of a mic suggests to me it's literally something to stop viewers from saying "why's he just sticking his finger in his ear and pretending to talk on a radio?"

Gravity fed and suction fed to give them their correct names! Gravity feed brushes can work with much lower PSI so can have finer needles and do very fine work. They're more used for "proper" art than model making unless you have a very steady hand! Even for BASIC work there's still a minimum standard I would expect to get. A lot of hobby shops sell the single action Badger ones with a huge glass jar and while yes, they're good for laying down large areas of flat colour (think large scale planes and tanks) they're gash for anything remotely fine. In terms of not wanting to spend loads of money, get yourself an Iwata Revolution or a Harder and Steenbeck Revolution. They both run a bit over £100 but they'll work well and last. https://www.graphicair.co.uk/product-category/airbrush/ Airbrushes aren't "better" than a normal hairy stick, they're different. Depending on what you're trying to achieve you will most likely end up using both. In terms of overspray, a small airbrush won't make loads BUT it will accumulate and that shit is HARD to shift. Not only will a booth contain the overspray it'll help with you not breathing it in! The other thing to consider is your air source. Propellant cans are OK to give it a try but much like gas guns they suffer from hideous cool down so you'll need a couple at a time (one to use and one to warm back up). Otherwise you're looking at a compressor: a basic diaphragm compressor will be cheap (ish) but is noisy and usually works off a foot pedal (you press it when you need air) so that can be a pain. The other thing is that they have no reservoir unless you get the more expensive ones so you end up suffering with pulsing in your air line - basically each stroke of the compressor creates a little puff of air. Try to draw a thin straight line and you'll just get a row of dots. Silent compressors are the go to for indoor work and are basically oil filled refrigerator pumps sat on a big tank. Expensive but well worth it if you need to paint late at night or just...a lot. Happy to give any help and advice, I also have a quite a lot of kit that could do with a new home (brushes, compressors, airlines etc).

Any of the Smith Optics regulator type goggles are designed for parachute work or vehicle work where you will get fast, consistent airflow to stop them fogging up. For airsoft they're just not going to work well as you won't be moving enough. Revision and ESS both do decent turbofan goggles, try them instead.

For reference, the rail mount switch clips on mine (and the screen used one) are Streamlight remote retaining clips (part number - 080926-88178-5). I managed to pick some up on ebay.

A carry handle on a flat top AR style weapon just looks wrong to me. Justifying it by saying that it's an HK so therefore it should look like a G36 just makes no sense at all. But hey, it's your gun. Fill your boots.
